I went to Hartford Granite for my kitchen renovation and found a beautiful selection of quartz & granite to choose from at very reasonable prices. From measuring to installing they were professional, courteous and practiced proper safety measures. My kitchen looks beautiful! I highly recommend Hartford Granite!

This is my second review in less than a year. We really appreciate Hartford Granite & Marble Company and the outstanding staff, so much so we decided to have more work done! The ease of being able to pick out your own piece of granite for your particular project is top notch. I have also never had such prompt, courteous, and professional people as those found at Hartford Granite & Marble Company initiate and complete work in or around my home. I am only sad I do not need any more granite. I may need to buy another home just so I can work with them again! Pricing is excellent, product is exceptional, and the people are phenomenal!

This is the second time in a year that I have called on Hartford Granite to install granite in my kitchen (we moved hence the repeat visit!) - they are fantastic! Ed and Jessica are fabulous - so is Galla who did the measuring and install, loved him too! I had so many questions and wanted a very particular color and style and they guided me perfectly. They didnt just tell me what I wanted to hear, they gave me constructive guidance and they were spot on. The install was flawless, they are reasonable and great to work with. I LOVE my new white ice countertops! Cannot wait to call them again for my bathrooms :)

Plain and simple - I wouldnt go anywhere else for counter tops. I wasnt shown every piece of granite or marble and left to try to figure it out. Ed was attentive and listened to better understand my needs so he could recommend the right product, which was quartz. And wow - the counter tops are beautiful! My kitchen isnt done yet, but my guests do not notice because they fixate on my counter tops. I chose white with gray veins, based on Eds recommendations, and it was the best choice!! Everyone says the same things when they see my counter tops, I wish I did that in my kitchen. Where did you get them? In addition to Eds help, the installers were friendly, respectful, responsive, clean and knowledgeable. They worked hard, didnt dilly dally, cleaned up and were onto their next job within a few hours. Great experience - 100% satisfied. Couldnt be happier with my experience. Ed made it very simple to pick out the stone we wanted and pricing was clear and straight to the point. They were very accommodating on scheduling as well, even when we made a last minute sink change that forced us to delay our original date. Gala, Wagner and Leandro handled the install and did a perfect job. The waterfall came out great, seams disappeared and they left the kitchen spotless when they were done. Time to make a trip back to the granite yard to approve how the professionals have chosen to lay your template on the stone to ensure you receive the most fabulous features of the granite. Another great trait of Ed; he knows just the right way the grain should go to give you the best effect of adding stunning beauty to your home. Then the day of install has arrived! Galla and his crew of men arrive who are so cordial and efficient as well. They removed the old counters/sinks and hauled them away. We recently purchased our granite for our bathroom vanity- it was for a large space and our hope was to not have a seam because we were concerned about how it would look. With a 10ft long counter in a bathroom, a seamless piece was not possible.The template was measured on 10/14 and by 10/25 our granite was being installed… we are so very happy with how quickly Hartford Granite was able to accommodate the install (considering we’ve been working on this bathroom project for over 4 months now!).Erick and his partner came on Friday and did a FANTASTIC job with the install! The seam is barely visible and the counter looks beautiful! The man on the saw did an amazing job cutting the granite to follow the fabrication template and the resulting counter fit like a glove. The installers did heavy lifting as they somehow were able to place and level the granite on our cabinets and leaving only a single seamless seam. We got there 30 min before they were supposed to close but the owner tried to rush up everything. After we looked at the slabs, He didnt even want to sit down and run down the numbers or even ask about the kitchen layout. He was only interested in knowing how much I was willing to spend per sq ft and he quoted us the price using the baseline price I was willing to spend by over pricing the cheaper stones.Overall my experience was pretty bad and I wont go there for anything ever again.Update - To the companys response.1. We reached 1/2 hour before the closing not just before the closing.2. Neither the website nor the person over the phone told us to make appointments for Thursday Viewing.3. We didnt ask about Cheapest price, We asked the price range for the slabs we selected.4. We were not asked about the kitchen layout, instead we were asked how much we are willing to spend per sq ft.5. Yes, I asked about the cash price and I respected your decision.Like I said, I am disappointed with my experience but I am so glad I visited them because this helped me narrow down on my choices.Good luck and Happy holidays!

He didnt push us to pick the most expensive items..he pushed us to make sure we were picking the RIGHT items given wall color, tile color, appliances, etc. Lets face it, your countertops are the focal point of your kitchen and bath so make sure you go with a company that has been around for years and will be here well into the future. It is truly an art to select the right items and when we walked into our new home it was ...WOW! The place is AMAZING and while we were not there when the guys installed everything, the job is SO professionally done and picture perfect! We were in the market for new countertops and many friends had suggested Hartford Granite and Marble. Once we got there, we met with Eddie. He was so knowledgeable and helped us pick and make decisions about a stone that would make sense for our young family of 5. Eddie was great at communicating with us throughout the process and made sure we understood why we were making the choices we were making. Galla came to template our house and he was very courteous and patient with us as we asked questions that arose. He helped us make decisions about some of the appliances we bought in terms of the design and practicality. We are so grateful that he caught some of our design challenges! The day of install, Galla was back with Wagner and they did an absolutely amazing job with the install! They were very patient with our family and made sure the job was perfect before they left. We felt very comfortable with them in and out of our home, even in the middle of a pandemic! Hartford Granite completely turned around a bad situation that we were in and I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of granite countertops. After having a bad experience with another local granite company, I talked with Ed at Hartford Granite and told him I needed a very tight turnaround for removal and replacement of our existing countertops. Ed said they could make it happen and within two days we picked out our new granite slab and had the template completed by their expert.We had a planned vacation during the time that cutting would take place, so I left it to Ed and his team to place the template on the slab for the cuts. I wasn’t sure if this was a good idea or not, but Ed was confident that they would make it right and to our satisfaction.Just had the new granite installed today and it came out even better than we expected! Galla and Luis (and a third very nice gentleman) carefully removed our existing countertops and installed the new ones. They took great care in doing everything right and cleaning up after. Galla went above and beyond with his customer service, ensuring we were happy with the faucet placement and the final product. Everything aligned perfectly and we have the look of a brand new kitchen. Thanks again!

Our experience with Hartford Granite and Marble was excellent. They were helpful, knowledgeable, and professional every step of the way. They have a wide selection of granite and prices. Also after measurements were taken they let us decide how we wanted the slab of stone divided. Instillation was as promised, on time, and beautifully done. One week after installation, I had a question about the sealing process. They had a problem solver come right out to our house within two days. He totally cleaned and resealed the granite to look even more vibrant and beautiful. Working with HG and M was a pleasure. I highly recommend them.

I have used Hartford Granite Company several times over the years and have always been happy with the quality of their service, products, and prices. I recently discovered a defect in my kitchen sink that was installed by the company several years ago. I met with Eddie, the owner, who acknowledged the defect and within 24 hours had my sink replaced with a new one. This level of outstanding customer service is rare and could never be matched at a big box store. What could have easily been a negative experience turned into a positive one and left me feeling compelled to write a review. I will definitely be using Hartford Granite Company in the future and highly recommend them.

I picked out a counter for our bathroom remodel from their outside slabs that were displayed. When they installed the counter I didnt notice that it was not the one that I picked because I was busy listening to the installer talk about how the back piece was too short and it was like a month after the Covid-19 started so I tried to stay far away from the installers. After they left I went in to sanitize everything and noticed that the counter was not the piece I had picked. Not even the same marble. I picked a Mont Blanc piece with veining going across and had some brown in it as well. This one is totally gray and white and the veining is going up and down. It is Carrara and not Mont Blanc. Needless to say I contacted Ed and he said it that our original piece broke so they installed the Carrara instead. They didnt even call me when the one I picked supposedly broke to see if I wanted to pick another counter. They just figured I wouldnt notice. He did refund us $200. but a couple months after trying to live with it I decided that my whole design was thrown off because of someone elses incompetence and bad business ethic. I contacted Ed and his response was We installed the correct counter - just a different piece. Unreal. I will never use this company again and I will never recommend them to anyone. And to think I waited 10 years to be able to remodel the bathroom. Sad.

I was recommended Hartford Granite by the person who did my hardwood floors. Im so glad I went with the recommendation! I wanted a waterfall edge off my island and full marble back splash. I was quoted extremely high at several other places. Hartford granite gave me a reasonable quote but more importantly did an impeccable job! Everyone was very helpful and nice throughout the whole process, as I had many questions. I had never done a remodel before but they brought my dream kitchen to life!

These guys are the best around! If you want your kitchen to stand out and have EVERY visitor to your home marvel over your kitchen – let Eddy and Iris at Hartford Marble and Granite handle that part of your project. Eddy treated us like family the second we walked in. Although we got some small work done with him before (office Desk and small kitchenette in basement) this kitchen project was the big one. He helped us through picking the ideal stone for our busy family (no marble for us!) and when we were on the fence on a color, he located a different batch and gave us a private showing. The guys who will come to your house are pros! All of this during COVID – with all proper PPE, etc. I am telling you this place is awesome. Nowhere else to buy stone as far as I am concerned. Yeah, I guess you can go to Home Depot, Lowes or somewhere else, but I guess you can also buy raviolis in a can. Your choice. No cheaper either.

Hartford granite recently did my kitchen remodel along with a tub surround. I have used other companies in the past and can say this company far exceeded my expectations. They helped me pick my paint colors, back splash and wood floor stain, along with choosing the counter tops to compliment it all. The installation of tops took all day since I had some issues with my cabinets but they did not leave until all was resolved and perfect.

My husband and I had a wonderful experience choosing our kitchen countertops with Hartford Granite & Marble. Ed and Iris were phenomenal taking their time with us to show us all of the options. The one thing that was especially surprising was their honesty with us about each aspect of choosing the material. They really wanted us to know and understand the different types so we could make a decision that was going to be best for our budget, the look we were envisioning and the general wear to be excepted since we wanted a natural stone. Ed took his time with us to pick out the perfect slab and run. They cut it an installed it quickly and it came out better than I could ever imagine. There are many granite places around, but Hartford Granite is the best. From start to finish the service was top notch and the entire process took less than a week. Katherine was very helpful in showing us which granite would look best in our kitchen. Ed went over all the details of the demo and install at the template meeting. Galla and his crew did an exceptional job with the install. We were worried about how noticeable the seam would be but you cant even see it!! After sealing the granite they even vacuumed the cabinets and swept the floors. I cant say enough about them and would highly recommend!!!!!

In the fall of 2016, Hartford Granite and Marble fabricated and installed new granite on our perimeter and Island countertops in our home. We are still getting compliments from new guests to our kitchen. Their staff was very professional and patient with us throughout the process. They had to come back and take a second template when we changed our minds and had a different kitchen sink installed. Installation crew was very professional and on time. Hartford Granite was a pleasure to work with on our recent bath remodel project. From our first visit to job completion, they were exceptionally responsive to our questions and needs. We had a scheduling issue that came up, and they completely owned the issue and made it right.The install team was meticulous as well - we had beadboard in our bath, and they painstakingly smoothed the caulk in every bead along the backsplash, showing true pride in their workmanship! We used them for our new home and they were fantastic! Great selection, clean work and they did a perfect job with all of our requests. We’re worried about what the seam in the longest section of the kitchen would look like and you wouldn’t even notice it. I will always use them!

I have really mixed feelings about this company. It was highly recommended by many people I know that had great experiences. When we started with them we met Iris. She was awesome! Super helpful and informative. She was extremely transparent about pricing of granite. No secret calculations that took days to get quotes like we got from other companies. She was excellent to work with. The installation did not go as well. Some complications. We had a farm sink that we loved. The whole kitchen upgrade revolved around saving our sink. We were told we would be the first appointment of the day. They showed up 2 hours late. They seemed to be rushing and our sink is very heavy and the corners on both sides were cracked when they tried to install it. The owner was very responsive and wanted to make it right. Our sink was discontinued. We had to go with a different sink, the company did paid for the new sink. He even hand delivered a new piece of granite for behind the sink which we appreciated. The part that is causing me to give a low review was the new sink did not fit in the countertop so they cut the granite in my house the granite dust went everywhere. I have sensitive lungs and I have been feeling like someone is sitting on my chest since the granite was installed. I feel the installers should have brought the granite back to recut or tarp off the area to prevent the dust. If adjustments need to be made I feel like extra steps should be taken to not leave a homeowner feeling sick and cleaning for hours after they leave.

For our kitchen, Hartford Granite made us a large island and our perimeter counter tops from Silver Cloud/Viscount, and they came out fantastic. They also made a marble vanity counter top with an oval under mount sink, and a quartz Whitney Cambria bathroom counter top with a rectangular under mount sink. Both came out great. Vinny was very good to deal with, and the installers were professional and highly skilled.

There were a few hiccups with the initial design of my new quartzite countertop however the design and install team at Hartford granite and marble worked together to figure it out to get the job done right and results are beautiful. It’s how obstacles are handled and resolved is what’s important in my opinion 😀👍
