My family had a great experience at Ethan Allen in Hartsdale. My elderly mother is super indecisive but Donna was so patient and kind, even after multiple trips to look at stuff, until mom was finally able to pick what she wanted. We gave Donna dimensions of her living room and she made a graphic to show us what could fit and where, which was really helpful when trying to figure it all out with an empty space. My mom is still waiting for a few other things from EA to be delivered, but the bedroom set that did arrive was delivered by a really professional team who, as part of their white glove service, assembled everything and took away all the packaging. They were fast, careful, and really nice. 10/10 would shop here again.

Everything about the Ethan Allen experience is wonderful! From my purchase in the showroom, where the Janice gave me exactly what I wanted versus trying to push unnecessary items on me, to the delivery itself. It was so easy getting the certificate of insurance sent to me. Usually other furniture stores take weeks and it requires constant follow-ups. In less than 30 minutes I had everything I needed and the day of delivery was great. Highly recommended to all! I won’t purchase from anywhere else.

On April 10, 2021, I walked into Ethan Allen in Hartsdale, NY, looking for a particular sofa I saw on the website. I was greeted by the most professional interior design consultant, Janice Terry. She was customer-centric, knowledgeable about the product as well as other products in the store. Janice guided me to the inquired sofa. To ensure my home was of the best quality and design, she was impeccably creative with, style, and innovation. Needless to say, I brought the sofa, 2 chairs and a rug! Janice, interpersonal skills was truly exemplary and represented the organization. Janice, has the know how to embrace and engage potential customers, I will be back. PURCHASE FROM HELL!! We extremely happy to furnish our new home, the designer Deborah was very attentive and responsive while we were BUYING and picking the furniture. We had a large order placed late January, they promised 12-14 weeks for shipping and delivery, never received a phone call about how delayed our furniture will be shipped or delivered. I decided one day to check the status, given that I didn’t hear from them in around 12 weeks. To my surprise, I had furniture to be shipped as far as 10 months after the purchase. I tried to contact my designer Deborah thru emails and phone calls, I didn’t received a courtesy call back. I decided to show up to the store, Deborah was very apprehensive to help, always mentioning the agreement of purchase on my end, but not acknowledging that they were the one not meeting what they had promised. The argument got heated and we requested the manager. They stated that canceling the missing items was not an option, the solutions that Barbara (the manager) offered was to change the items from something in the clearance section (that was the only way to ensure that they have the item for delivery quickly), a loaner from their main center. We were desperate for solutions, we checked the clearance section, but they didn’t have anything, our other option was the loaner. They said will contact us with options;2 weeks passed we didn’t hear from them, ignored phone calls and emails from my designer. Finally, after all my insistence Barbara sent an email with 2 options from a loaner. Are we happy with the loaner? Of course not, but we didn’t have an option. After all these we still in the limbo, we don’t know when we will receive anything. We are just tired of chasing people around. This was supposed to be a great experience but it has been a nightmare. I do have to say their furniture is great and looks beautiful but I do not think is worth to wait up to 10 months to receive it. We are extremely disappointed with the service. We have other rooms to furniture in our home but we are going elsewhere.

Really beautiful, custom furniture. The staff was super helpful and explained all the vast options and decor in the store. The prices are higher than you might find from other big name furniture spots, but again the custom built quality and craftsmanship of the pieces is obvious well worth it if you can afford it.Bedrooms, dining rooms, sofa sets, lounge chairs...it’s all here.

LOVE our his and hers matching leather sofas! They turned out great - beautiful and functional. The team at this store on Central Ave was terrific to work with and the purchasing process was simple. Delivery and set up was amazing, they hoisted the sofas over the patio wall to get them in the living room 😳 one of the best furniture experiences weve had, start to finish.

Due to the pandemic they are appointment only by 4pm.My family and I looking for new apartment furniture, came at 4pm they said they could not service us. This made sense but the associate with the black bob seemed strange. However we called the store shortly after for an appointment because looking into the window the store was EMPTY. AND ALL OF SUDDEN WE COULD HAVE COME IN FOR AN IMPROMPTU APPOINTMENT. This was a very disheartening experience, so instead of coming tomorrow I will rather visit the Jersey location.

Not as good as years ago when purchased

What a great experience. We have always loved the furniture, and when we recently had an issue with in-store service, Andrew, the store manager, came to our rescue and made everything right. The time he spent with us, and his sense of style and advise made a difference. We can’t recommend him highly enough.

IT was a stressful time to completely redesign our living room and make sure our purchases were perfect. Heading off to Ethan Allen in Hartsdale, NY. we met Lourans Butrus, designer. he was amazing, knowledgeable, and incredibly charming!!! He gave us options, was patient with our inability to decide, and put us in the right direct. Bottom line, we made several wonderful purchases and have the most beautiful living room ever. Thank you Ethan Allen for so many choices of quality furniture and for giving us Lourans to work with....he was sooo fantastic. A pleasure to work with and made a difficult job a real pleasure. I like their quality of furniture and i went around labor day weekend theyre was 25% discount on beds so i got a good deal and free shipping only thing is we have to wait a few months for delivery if ur not in a rush ur fine

In the midst of a home renovation I wanted to order furniture before it was completed. I stopped into see designer Donna Weglarz and gave her the construction documents. She then selected furniture for both an open concept living room and dining room. When the renovation was complete the furniture was ready and delivered. It looks amazing! Donna did an outstanding job choosing sofas, chairs, tables and coordinating fabrics and carpets and even selected paint colors. What a great experience!!

I’m posting about the Hartsdale store.. recently bought counter stools.. decorator ordered wrong stain color for the stools.. they sent someone over to take pictures and that was two weeks ago and no one has ever responded back to me in regards to a solution.. this is the third time with three different decorators on three different times I’ve had problems! I will never set foot in that store or another Ethan Allen again! They are great at selling you something but if there is a problem.. forget it!! You either solve it yourself or your done. I probably will be forced to file s dispute with my credit card company!! This store doesn’t even deserve 1 star!

When I met Donna Weglarz at the Hartsdale store I knew right away she was the right decorator for me. She carefully listened, came to our home to take measurements, came up with a beautiful plan that incorporated some of our existing furniture and a lot of beautiful new pieces - all wonderfully coordinated. On delivery day she was at the house to make sure all was properly placed. Now waiting for window treatments and reupholstered chairs - I can’t wait to see it all together. I highly recommend Donna Weglarz and the Hartsdale store - service has been spot on - could not ask for more. Will post photos once it is all done. Thank you all!

Excellent service and quality furniture

I am extremely disappointed with Ethan Allens quality and service. I ordered a full dining room, living room and bedroom set and almost all of the furniture had issues - whether it be uneven staining, scratches, gouges, etc. They do not take pride in their furniture and this is not your parents Ethan Allen. They continually cut corners and their service has been nothing short of horrendous. I feel as if once they have your money they wash their hands with you.I recieved my furniture over 2 months ago and they still need to fix it, have been very slow to get back to me. Dont make the mistake i did, look elsewhere!
