I purchased the Jewel of India rug for my new home and when it arrived I realized the color I choose was too dark. Allen the manager made the process of changing rug colors and size so easy and stress-free. The delivery service was so precious and helpful. I initially went into Safavieh (Hartsdale, NY) looking for a dining room set. Once in, I instantly fell in love with almost everything and decided to furnish my entire apartment through them. Some how I was paired with Melissa and I have to say it was a perfect match. Although it’s a professional relationship, Melissa so easy going that she became a friend in my head lol. I’m very indecisive, however, Melissa is very patient and listened to what I wanted and presented me with exactly what I was looking for (plus more). What I appreciated most about my experience with Melissa and the store is that I never felt pressured into buying anything. They worked with me and at my pace. The store can be on the pricey side, however, most of the furniture pieces are unique. You won’t go into your friend’s home and see something you have unless he/she shopped at Safavieh. I highly recommend this store.

I was there to find a recliner chair with my mother. They have a fair selection of decent furniture. She did not find what she wanted. We did browse to see other furnishing which were suitable in her eyes. There furniture may not be for everyone, but worth taking a look. The have some stock too. The staff is helpful also. Lots of windows. Its a place to spend some time. They have accent items to fill the home with charm. Enjoy your visit.

As a potential customer in summer 2020, I was prepared to be challenged by the high-end price tags that come with exceptional quality furniture. In the end, the challenges were minimized by the constant guidance of Melissa. Over several months, she listened well and offered patience and clarification as I agonized over making multiple choices in purchasing a sofa, bed, mattress and nightstands and area rugs. She demonstrated strengths in customer service and collaboration in resolving issues that can occur in any organization. For example, a problem arose with the delivery of my mattress. Within hours, she collaborated with managers in two states. In particular, she worked with Alen, the store manager to deliver a mattress I love! Throughout, I watched how Melissa understood all the moving parts of customer satisfaction and communicated them effectively to Alen as well as the back-end members of her team. For example, she made certain that area rug paddings were cut to the right size. Not a small detail!

Excellent selection and great customer service the way it should be! Alen the manager is very helpful and honest. The brands they carry are beautiful with a clean, contemporary look that is also original. Hard to find good furniture stores anymore so its a pleasure to have one with lovely showrooms and carpets to coordinate. I get so many compliments on the pieces I have bought over the years from here in my house. Long live Safavieh!

Selection was great, salesperson was helpful.When the sofa was finally delivered after four months I noticed the cushions did not fit properly. Someone was sent out to evaluate my concern and he told me the cushions were not cut properly and be would request new cushions. Customer service never called me back and did not return my calls. I tired for months to resolve the issue and was ignored. Also stay away from the furniture protection plan. It’s expensive and the company they contract with is horrible. Overall this was an expensive purchase and their customers service is the WORST.

Purchased a gorgeous bed with Safavieh. Delivery was exact, as promised. The bed is great quality, well worth the money.

I can’t say enough good things about working with Melissa. Five years after she helped us pick our dining room table and chairs (which we still love!), she helped us furnish our empty living room perfectly. And, she made it easy! No pressure, just wonderful choices based on what we told her we were looking for.

Melissa is great! She is extremely helpful and has a lot of patience. We first bought a headboard from her, and most recently a lounge chair. She knows a lot about furnishing a room and will give you helpful advice. She is extremely responsive - via email or if you call the store. I would highly recommend her for anyone visiting Safavieh. Shes great.

Excellent service. Richard helped me find a great rug in my price range and was very patient. I did not feel rushed or pressured. He gave me a better price than on the tag because he found a lower price for the rug online and matched it. I did not ask him to look online; he did this on his own initiative. Very happy and will certainly return.

All I can say the furniture and merchandise is amazing but, in order to enjoy it more you have to work with Melissa!!! This woman worked with me for six months painful my renovation was for my home the only thing that was enjoyable was going to work with her on my furniture and she would make me forget everything and just make me smile and say no way your house is going to look amazing with this furniture and let me tell you!!! IT DID!!! To Die for my home looks from every piece she picked with time and effort. this woman even hung ever picture with love and even after the purchase was complete and all done days later after every day checked to see if everything was okay. If you want your home to look amazing just ask to work with Melissa she is the best and you wont regret it!!

The delivery went smoothly and your deliverymen were polite, patient and wonderful to work with.

Colleen is awesome. She has great style and design sense. We have a great decorator, but she lives out of state. We were very afraid to put a room together ourselves, but Colleen did a great job. The furniture is perfect, and the room looks very professional, but warm and inviting.

Our salesperson, Melissa, was great. She was friendly, patient, and accommodating !
