I visited Green Valley Range for the first time today since it is the closest range to my new apartment. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. I really enjoyed chatting with the RSO. This is a neat little range and a great place to beat the summer heat. Lots of fun choices for targets. Ill absolutely be back soon.

Excellent experience at this range. I went to try out a few different handguns out of their wide selection and the RSO joined me to take me through each firearm chose. He also provided tips on how to improve my grouping and aim. He was so helpful . All of their staff were welcoming and friendly. Would definitely recommend if you are in the area or are a local.

Staff is the most freindly, cordial and accommodating of any range we have ever been to. They are friendly and kind and patient. I watched them working with brand new shooters and they took a lot of time to help and teach. The rates for range time is very affordable. They rent all the popular guns and is the best place I have seen for new and experienced shooters alike. For the range fee you can use the lane all day and when you are done they even offer for free ultrasonic cleaning of your gun. The facility is very modern and comfortable. They have free soda and popcorn and it is a great place to just hang out. My son and I had a great day. Dont forget that children are not only welcomed but they are free for 15 years and younger.

I was visiting from our of state, and wanted to try some different handguns, and the handgun experience was outstanding. The staff were very kind, and knowledgeable about each of the different fferent kind of guns. They let me handle lots of different handguns, and after picking my two favorites, I went a put 50 rounds threw them. The associate working with me was helpful (and not demeaning at all) in explaining how to properly hold the handguns, even as a lefty. I would recommend these guys if youre ever in the Vegas area.

We have been to this location a couple of times and the staff is awesome! Marcus is super helpful when deciding on the guns to rent and shoot and Mike has been amazing with my 2 sons as the RSO. They allowed my 8yo who frequently shoots fire multiple 9mms in a safe and controlled environment and the experiences has left him smiling ear to ear with excitement. Pricing is very reasonable as well. Education and gun safety is very important in our house being new to guns and sharing a hobby and these experiences with my kids is very enjoyable and creates ever lasting memories.

This place is awesome, brought the family for first time shooting and went very smooth. The guys here are very nice, very good recommendation on first time shooters and thought my 9 year old how to shoot.

Amazing staff! Jessica helped my wife decide on a concealed carry firearm by bringing out several single stack options and shooting each one with expert-level instruction. The new store is now attached to the range and has a nice selection of new and pre-owned firearms. I love the lounge attached to the range with the complementary soda fountain and gun cleaning station. Be sure to check out womens day on Thursday for discount range passes!

RSOs was awesome, welcoming, answered questions thoroughly and had my wife more comfortable at being at the range for the first time. Live by Nellis AFB but its worth the drive.

Worse customer service ever in the retail shop! Lou is probably one of the rudest characters In Vegas. I will probably tell 13 people a day to never go to this location for the retail side. I Recommend going somewhere else 100% Rude as it gets! Sad! Maybe one day this place will be pleasant. The range itself and the range employees on the other hand are all extremely nice. Clean, great ventilation, and really nice employees. All of them are really pleasant and helpful. The range guys should train the store folks on how not to be a douche canoe.

Recently moved to the Vegas area and had to do my HR 218 qualification for Nevada. The staff at Green Valley were excellent and made it very simple to do my qualification. Staff are very friendly and easy going. Very impressed with their customer service...

These guys and gals are great they know what they are talking about and the classes they offer are great range is clean and they have soda and popcorn while you wait for a lane at no cost. range masters help with issues and help with any problems that may occur. they are all great at what they do and for that thank you!

Just finished my CCW renewal class. This class was much more informative and professional than my initial course which I took somewhere else. I would definitely recommend Green Valley Range for your CCW course.

Drove across town to go shoot here because I heard good things about them. They turned me away for arbitrary reasons that they did not put anywhere on their website or anywhere in the store.

I called and a voice prompt said I called after hours even though they were open for another hour, voice prompt said Id be directed to voicemail to leave a message, then after 5 secs of silence music played for about 30 seconds then another voice prompt stated no one is available and I got hung up on. Tried emailing and they never replied. Great first impression/customer service. If thats how they feel about their customers I will GLADLY go elsewhere. On top of that, its $20 to shoot my own gun and use my own ammo.

The massive variety of very affordable pistol rentals makes this the best range in Vegas to bring your out of town friends!If youre looking for a new pistol and youd like to try before you buy chances are they probably have a version of it on hand for rental.Not to mention the nice addition of a free sonic cleaning if you bring your own gun in!

Visited this place today 9 July 2020 and left very disappointed. Was looking for a nice range close to home with different classes and the male behind the counter acted like I was bothering him and any info i wanted was on the web site. I had my other half with me and she even said she didnt feel welcomed there. I left and more than likely wont go back because of his attitude and non professional behavior which is too bad for them because a family of four could of spent some time and money with them.

This place feels like it was planned and constructed by a couple of retired law enforcement officers. The best couple of real, down to earth guys, that have thought of everything. I love this place. Id give it 10 stars.

I recently contacted Lou for private lessons and have now had several one on one sessions. You will not be disappointed. Lou has a great disposition for teaching and certainly knows his stuff. He makes it easy to learn – no pressure - and it was a joy to work with him. I cannot recommend him enough. He listens and provides great information based on your personal needs. He is fantastic at recommending what firearm(s) will work best for your situation, which, of course is different for everyone based on skill set and need. I always felt comfortable. I would recommend Green Valley Range – I’m sure all their instructors are great but, of course, I’m partial to Lou. He helped me so much on form alone, which I think made all the difference. As a female who works in a profession that is particularly hard on the hands and wrists, I was initially nervous, but Lou listened and made suggestions accordingly. Anyone – male or female – looking for private lessons, you can’t go wrong. The facility is clean and I will certainly go back. I went from being slightly fearful to now discovering that shooting is fun (beyond the home defense aspect) and plan to go back!! Highly Recommend. You can’t go wrong. Plus, prices seem reasonable. Well worth the cost of private lessons especially if you are new to shooting or just want to brush up on your skills.

Just amazingly helpful. Basically gave us a free lesson and stayed with us for every shot and gave advice the entire time. Super nice people.

If I could give this place no stars I would! My husband and I walked in to purchase a gun and get the application process started. One guy took 5 minutes to talk to us when we walked in while 3 other staff members acted like they were the busiest people on earth sitting around. I obviously needed assistance and I think maybe the manger came and made a few jokes about our needs then another couple came in the door and we were COMPLETELY ignored!! Then he walks off into the range and the three stooges there ignored us for the remainder of our time walking around in obvious need of customer care. We ended up leaving and taking our business elsewhere. Ill NEVER recommend this place to any African American person.

This is one of the BEST indoor ranges. Everyone so helpful and friendly. No one judges just offers friendly tips and advice. Which is great for a newbie like myself!Free Targets and free gun cleaning at the end. What more could you ask for?!

Came here with two other coworkers. Absolutely loved the staff here! Nice and clean facility. Awesome teacher discount compared to the Clark County ranges and could get in sooner!!! Instructor George was awesome. He was very knowledgeable, kept the class engaging and on task. There were plenty of opportunities for questions and breaks. We never got bored. We all passed the test with flying colors because he teaches what you need to know, can use notes and learn so much more. Maybe we can have a professional development training, team building meeting here or a teacher back to school party!! That would be so much more fun. We will be back to practice at the range and to take other classes, DIDNT know they offered a variety of other classes that will help with other gun skills. Worth the time, money and the drive from North Las Vegas!! Thank you guys we all had fun!

Super friendly staff, nice and clean place. Easy to use target holders and retrieval system. Virtually no wait time on a Sunday morning. Pretty lady watched me shoot with smiles. 20 bucks gets you at least 4 targets and all the time you want in a lane. All in all a good deal.

Gotta say, I love this range. I live on the other side of town but always come to this range because of their great customer service. Would definitely recommend.

The range is fine. You can buy, rent, or shoot guns. However, I would suggest that you avoid subscribing to their mailing list, unless you want to get emails about misinformed right-wing politics. As a business in the USA, the range certainly has the freedom to voice their political perspectives to their customers. However, previous and potential customers also have the freedom to avoid their business if they find those political perspectives harmful. I will certainly not be returning to the range in the future.

I take my family to the range like 2 times a month before the coronavirus outbreak. The staff are very informative and very helpful. My son-in-law and myself attended Jessicas CCW class. I have also purchased my Glock 19x and a few other firearms here. And just last week they put on night sights for my Glock43x. Their prices are great and very friendly. I would give them 10 stars if I could.

I wanted to share my experience that I received today at Greenvalley range . I arrived a little before 2pm with my wife .We were looking to buy her a 380 caliber gun .when we arrived there was one person behind the counter sitting not on the phone or with another customer. I asked the gentleman for help he was short with us the, gun I asked for was no longer in stock but he had a similar gun in the gun case but he didnt really care to show us or make a sale he didnt even move from his chair . The lack of effort was amazing and the customer service doesnt exist but I will tell you guys something he was quick to get up and go VAP outside ....this was differently way more important than helping a potential sale or customer. I cant imagine the owner of this place cares how is employee treat the customers. We ended going to buy her gun somewhere else .avoid this place

As a new shooter, I have been taking private instruction with Joe Salerno. He is professional, amazingly patient and makes me feel confident handling the weapon.If you are a woman over 50 with absolutely no background with firearms and need an instructor who has the personality and perserverance to make you proficient, Joe is the guy for you!

Go here, further out but so great. As Australian tourists shooting for the first time and this was amazing. Marcus was great, helped out my daughter and son and made this a highlight of our Vegas trip. If your looking to shoot, travel another 10 min to Henderson to do it with these guys. The staff was very friendly. I was surprised it was so clean. I forgot my glasses, but the rental for eyes and ears was included in same price as range. I also loved the different types of targets that I could choose from that were also included. Ill definitely go back again

My family likes this place very much. In California, theres not much opportunity for people, let alone young people, to learn firearms safety and practice marksmanship legally. We chose this range because of the high ratings, which GVR fully deserves. The prices arent bad, either. My family enjoyed this way more than seeing a show and the staff here is friendly and professional.

I went here a newbie. Ive fired a rifle, but never a handgun, and the last time I even touched a gun was about 30 years ago. They walked me through the entire process from understanding the gun and the various parts of the gun to handling the gun, helped me with my stance and stayed with me the entire time. It was certainly more than I expected and it truly made the experience enjoyable. I found the staff to be knowledgeable, friendly and professional. Ive been looking for a small, friendly hands on range, and i finally found it! The guys here are courteous, knowledgeable, patient, and always willing to answer my questions and be of assistance when needed. My husband and I liked this range so much, we joined the Club membership. Now we walk in and start shooting with no wait. They also offer many gun safety and self protection classes, renewals, and they have a large assortment of guns for rent. I feel more confident with my firearm every time i leave the range.Ladies, if you are looking for a small, friendly range who knows your name when you walk in, this is it!With all the crazy thugs in the world, its time to learn to protect yourself and your loved ones.

This is a good place to go shoot. Range staff are helpful and friendly, and everyone who works there is glad to see you. Rules are simple and I especially like being able to stay as long as I want for one money!

Both trainers John Bebirian and John Nagy were very helpful in every way. When it came to shooting practice and qualifying both trainers did their best to make sure we knew how do deal with real life situations and I was impressed with the time both trainers took to answer all of our questions. I recommend this facility for any training you need.

Worst customer service... the gentleman are very rude and condescending!!! My husband wanted to buy us both guns and my dad was looking to add to his collection. We walked out and took our business elsewhere. I dont know how much more nice we could of been but seems they are stuck on their we are above everyone attitude and brushing you off when you have questions.

Every once in a while, you find a business that makes you feel welcomed and appreciated. For that place to be shooting range makes it that much more special. Every other range seems to be interested in turning and burning tourists, but the staff at Green Valley Range is good-natured and approachable. I recommend this range to all of my friends, even the ones that are on the other side of town.

Years ago I used #greenvallyrange as a ffl for my H&k-vp9 and I have the greatest experience going trough the process in this place. I wish I can say the same about that gun back then...,The owner took me upstairs and helped me fill up the paperwork and throughout the process we had a fantastic long conversation about mine and his backgrounds and life pretty much, super friendly and knowledgeable individual, I totally forgot his name, like I said it was years ago, but I can tell you for a fact that I’m using him and his business as a ffl again soon. I apologize for not remembering his name but it is what it is.

Good spot, liked it enough to get a membership and renew after the first year. Yes, the store is limited and the range is a bit small, but the staff is great. They have a waiting area with free soda, and a separate VIP range for people willing to purchase the more expensive subs.

Cheap range experience with friendly staff. If you have no handgun experience, they will provide you with basic instruction.$20 entry, $10 hire of up to 3 handguns per caliber ≈$16-21 per 50 rounds of ammunition. You can buy as many rounds as you like.Also free soda drinks and popcorn!

Sharing of my experience at Green Valley Range. First time here and my LAST TIME. The gun shop is nice, the personnel are friendly, but the range itself needs help. I was in maybe 20 minutes before leaving, the problem is from the moment I got into my lane the person to the left of me was raining brass all over me while shooting his handgun (not his fault, the barriers need to be closer to the ceiling, and I cannot have a relaxing shooting experience when I have brass falling on my hands, arms, and shoulders. The need to do a better job of the range design.

I had a total beginner lesson with John Bebirian and it was great! First, scheduling was a breeze through their website. Second, John provided detailed and thorough introduction to safety practices and basic technique. The staff is professional, pleasant, and very helpful. While visiting the Range today, my brother-in-law experienced a feed jam issue with his AR-15 and the staff gun smith looked it over, replaced a spring and didnt charge a dime for his time. You cant go wrong at Green Valley Range!

I dont write reviews so I will be brief. This is the best range Ive been to period. The only reason I didnt go with 5 stars is because of the ventilation system. It is so windy inside the range your targets are always moving side to side with the breeze. (Not a deal breaker) Other than this minor issue, everything thing else was perfect. I will be back and highly recommend.

This is a very nice indoor pistol range. The staff are sharp and service - oriented, the facility is modern and clean, and it has a comfortable place to sit when youre not shooting.This is the first indoor range ive been to that allowed high-velocity rifles, my friend was allowed to shoot his .223 rifle!

I have been to many indoor ranges around the valley, and this is my favorite! - very clean, and very well ventilated. you can shoot practically any type of firearm on the range. You can purchase ammunition there or bring your own.-The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. -NOT rude or overbearing like some places. no gun range commandos here.- the range time IS reasonably priced including FREE targets. - range rental also include FREE cleaning of your firearm if you want. -GVR also has a LARGE selection of rental guns. also reasonably priced. - the range also holds many special events, and classes of interest. - bottom line: my friends and I agree: green valley range is our favorite place to shoot!!!!!

Ive been going to this shooting range for 2 years now. I love it there. Everybody is always nice. So glad to live nearby too. Very convenient.

Not much to it. Clean. Not much beyond a small range in an industrial complex. Far SE side of the valley. The instructors (RSOs?) they allow operate are overbearing self important types. Ex east coast law enforcement, like to talk loud, ruin the experience. You know the types. A prior review mentioned Gun Range Commando. That nails it perfectly. I wouldnt take my family back here. There are better experiences in the valley. If they are close to home for you, the convenience might make it tolerable.

Really great experience for first timers. Great training and instruction. Everything was unlike I expected but the instructors spend a lot of time with you.

Ive been here several times and I always feel respected as a customer. The gun culture seems to have professional and courteous individuals that get what customer service is and then the gruff and foul mouthed morons that feel like their stores existance is a big fat favor to you. This place is great. They are a little expensive, but I take my son here often and appreciate the professional service they provide. To me - its what stands out about the place amongst other places Ive been in the valley.

Love this place. Its in a nice area and the folks are nice. Prices are reasonable for how relaxed the place is. Was irritated that a fellow shooter kept stealing the targets I would bring in and none of the folks there said anything. Thats the reason for the -1 star (the targets are free-included with lane rental, how much of a jerk do you have to be to not walk 10 feet to grab your own?). Otherwise 5 stars though. Lol.

Unfortunately during the times when business is booming owners tend to forget customer satisfaction and service. And the gun business is the epitome of this type of abrasive personality because of its massive popularity, hence the term gun range commando is born. It is unfortunate mostly due to the fact that this is a nice range with great amenities but after sending close to 10 of my most avid shooting comrades there I had a bad customer service experience that will deter me and my friends from using this range again. On my third visit to GVR I opted to use the complimentary gun bath that is part of the perks of using this range. And being a sheet metal manufacturer, we use and build ultrasonic gun cleaners commercially for our stamping tooling so I am quite knowledgeable in this field. As a sales pitch these machine claim to clean your guns without taking them apart and this may be the case if you are in a hurry but common sense says if you take you gun apart and put in into an ultra sonic bath it will definitely clean you gun better. And even if it didnt if the customer opts to clean his gun more thoroughly he should have that option especially since my first visit we put the entire gun into the bath and it came out like a soapy sponge with all sorts of build up inside the weapon. Being a gun enthusiast and a professional in the gun industry that was unacceptable. I kindly asked the abrasive owner if I could please clean my gun while it was apart he immediately refused again and went with the manufacturer claim that this machine will clean you gun while its together. I explained to him that I build and use ultrasonic cleaner professionally and from my past experience there with the build up and he rudely denied my request. I told him I have not only been a fan of your organization but I have sent many people to his range and he said in an empty gun range with nobody in the lobby that if he did that for me he has to do it for everyone. In my world everyone is your customer, and if you are offering a service you should offer the right way or the right way which is the customers way. Not only are we customer we are the word of mouth that will help your business grow. It is unfortunate but my wife and I both knowing how these machines work looked at each other as we were kindly given the cue to leave the facility because of a request to clean a weapon the proper way... Unfortunate because we really liked this place...

Great Shooting Range. I attended a CCW renewal course here this week. I learned a new technique to clear a semi-automatic malfunction quickly. I really appreciated the emphasis on safety when I was qualifying on the Range. The gathering areas are also very nice. I must be living wrong, because Ive never been at a range with a coffee/soda bar before (very posh!). LOL As an older female, I felt completely comfortable at GVR. But the staff is extremely knowledgeable and its obvious that there are plenty of hard-core shooters there too. Great location which offers something for all types & levels of shooters.

Friendly, courteous, and professional atmosphere! I was visiting my parents from out of town and we wanted a place without tourists and machine guns.We went on a Tuesday afternoon and the place was busy. We were immediately greeted as we entered and felt welcome. There were a good amount of people in the lobby. There were no tourists and most people there were range members. We had about a 10 minute wait for a lane. There are free sodas, coffee, and popcorn in the waiting area.The waiver process was on an iPad and was quick and painless. We got our lane and we had a great time. Be prepared as they do allow rifles on the range. It is only about a 15 yard range. The guys next to us were shooting a tavor and it was LOUD. There was a range safety officer on duty at all times which I appreciate. The officer was professional and you wouldnt even notice him. Very hands off I imagine until they see a safety violation.The price was fair as the cost includes hearing/eye protection and targets. It was $20 for the first shooter and $10 for additional shooters. The targets are help yourself and are hung on the wall in the range. They had several types and they are included in the lane fee.The gun rentals did seem a bit high as they charged per shooter not per gun rental. That seemed a little weird to me so I didnt rent anything. They had a good selection of rental guns. Mostly common modern polymer style semi-autos. Nothing really exotic. I think they had a desert eagle and 3 revolvers. They do have full auto packages and I saw a belt fed AR if thats your thing.Overall, we had a great time in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. I highly recommend the Green Valley Range.

The staff here is very rude and act like they are offering something no one else has, they don’t. The shop is small and the range is very limited. I suspect many of these positive reviews are by the owners, staff and friends.

A friend and I signed up for a membership about 3 months ago and couldnt be happier. It seems maybe Ive become addicted? Ive taken 3 classes already, have taken a few guests to shoot with me, took the CCW class, and have improved my shooting dramatically. Literally after 5 minutes with John (outstanding BTW), I changed my grip and shot my Glock better than ever. Just today after 1 specific trigger tip from John, my AR pattern must have improved 500%. Ive gone nearly every weekend since I joined and the service has been consistently positive.Everyone is engaged, helpful, and make me feel good about my choice of ranges.

Took our own weapons and ammo. Price includes eyes ears and targets. Had a couple different RSOs, no attitude, and the one time I broke a rule RSO was polite and simply corrected my mistake. Had a great time. Will be our go to when we come to Vegas and want to go shooting.
