While doing C maintenance oil change, Floyd found a pulley that was about to fly apart and the belt was so frayed that I most likely would have been stranded very soon had he not spotted it when he did. They gave me a great deal to go ahead and take care of it because he was already doing service and it was right there in the front and didn’t require any major disassembly. I really appreciate the heads up inspection of everything. I always get that kind of report when I come in for service, how things look, brakes, any leaks, tires, the good, what to keep an eye on, ect. That’s what I like. I contacted them regarding Dinan tuning on my BMW and spoke to Christy. She was super nice and told me she would text me and to return the text with my VIN and she would get back to me with information. I never got the text so I called back and got her cell number from Clayton, figuring maybe she misplaced my number. I texted her the VIN, vehicle information, and other items I would be interested in. She didnt text back, so I texted her the next day and asked if she had any updates. I still havent gotten a response at all, not even an acknowledgment of getting the text. A response of Im still working on it would have been good enough. Im disappointed in the lack of communication, and it makes the business seem unprofessional. I was excited to find a place in Hickory that could do the work Im interested in. First impressions are important. Seems they forgot about that, and is that indicative of the service they provide? Im just not sure...

Family owned & operated first class business. Masters in their field and very customer oriented. Hired them to go over a used BMW X5 35d that I bought for my wife. They performed all maintenance and thoroughly checked out the vehicle for any other possible problems that may need attention. They also installed 4 tires and did 4 wheel alignment. These people are so friendly and genuine that you feel very comfortable with them and their services right from the start. Christie even went outside with us when we picked the car up and demonstrated the idrive functions which we had very little understanding of. We will be loyal customers for years to come. Being family owned is no excuse for unprofessional results in customer service. I took my BMW and to have the heater repaired only to get back with broken driver door handle that they claimed was like that when I dropped it off. REALLY! I honestly think I would remember always having to enter my vehicle through the backseat door. And all they offered were excuses, lies and complete denial without a solution. DONT TAKE THE GAMBLE!

I have my BMW X5 serviced with Master Tech and they are by far the best way to go for repairs. A family owned business that provides excellent customer service and will repair your vehicle at a fraction of the cost a dealership would charge.

If I could give Master Tech six stars I would. I just recently had my throttle actuators changed on my M3. I believe Todd at Master Tech finished the job in about 3 hours or probably less. Plus he put in a thermostat. Everywhere I looked online this job takes 4 to 5 hours.I live in Raleigh North Carolina and Im honestly thinking about going back to Hickory just to get my car repaired by Master Tech. Christy is very nice, helpful, and professional. If you have a BMW and youre anywhere near Hickory North Carolina take it to Master Tech for repair.

I found a great BMW mechanic!Im new to the Lenoir / Hickory North Carolina area and had recently purchased a used 2011 BMW X5 for my wife and was looking for a qualified BMW mechanic to provide service locally so I would not have to take it to the dealership in Charlotte or Asheville for service. Having owned numerous BMWs in the past I know that servicing them on a routine basis by a qualified mechanic is extremely important to maintain the performance and longevity of the vehicle. As such, I reached out to Christy to find out more about this shop prior to making an appointment. Christy was very informative and let me know about the history of the shop and the background of each of the mechanics. I scheduled an appointment with them to have the oil changed along with a normal service of the vehicle and as the vehicle was new to me, I asked Christy to do a good once over of the vehicle to check it out and to investigate a clunking noise in the suspension that had started shortly after buying the vehicle. As it turns out, the vehicle needed new struts and other suspension parts as they were simply worn out. Christy kept me informed throughout the repair and sent me photos of the various parts that needed to be replaced. While the repair bill was a bit steep, I know it would have been MUCH higher at the dealership. The vehicle drove pretty good prior to the repair, but the wife tells me it drives like a brand new Beemer now and shes extremely happy which as the saying goes, happy wife, happy life! I found my BMW mechanic!

I have always been so nervous about having others work on my car, and with my 335i I barely like doing anything to it, its a touchy car, my girl pump regulator went out, my rear wheel bearing went out, Christy worked with me, called my aftermarket warranty company, took care of all the hard work, she really made me feel like family, and as someone who is in the business of customer service this place is A+ it could not be any better!
