Had our transmission replaced here. Better price than quoted at a few other places. Ran great for a month or so and started having problems. They actually came and picked it up, worked on it for awhile trying to track down the issue. They did not give up until it was fixed again and never tried to charge more or anything and still running good now!

I would recommend this place to family and friends!!!

Charged for solenoids. Found out it was electric and they couldnt fix it. I would not recommend them and will not be going back ever..

I would not recommend this place at all. Did my transmission, didn’t last 6 months. Took it back, it sat there for several months. Finally got it back and it still wasn’t right. Poor quality work. Took it to RC transmission in Linconton and got it back in 1 week. No problems. Call RC. You will thank me later.

Just talked to a guy here about needing repair done. Quoted a price that average people cant afford straight out of pocket without even looking at the vehicle. Asked if they could do the work and could pay over the course of a few paychecks while they hung on to the truck. The guy hung up on me.

Transmission was slipping in an old 4 Runner we have. Didnt have a clue what the problem was and a friend said to run it by A1. They had to keep it for a while so they could test it because it only did it sometimes. They called and said it was ready and I didnt owe anything. It was just low on transmission fluid. :/ The thing is they could have said I need to get a new transmission but they are a stand up place with good people.

I got my car fixed there running great .

The transmission work was ok but when we went to pick up the 99 GMC truck the battery was dead. This is no big deal. We tried to jump it off but it would not work with a small battery pack and then we tried jumper cables and that didnt work. So that was it for a1 transmission no further help. We had to drive all the way back to Newton to get a jumper pack to jump it off and get it back to Newton. If we were not mechanics and were regular customers would they ever have gotten it running to get if off the lot. Very poor business practice. Thats probably the last time for us. I really suggest they buy a battery pack.

Quality work in a timely fashion

Terrible place they did my transmission in my dodge 2500 I come to pick it up it was leaking told them before i left they didnt do anything a few days later my transfer case goe as out that was rebuilt the month before but they say they didnt touch that but it has to be pulled in order to get the transmission out they would not replace it the bolt on my transmission pan waa cross threaded and a week later the transmission come out again they fixed that cause I was out of money no other choice to take it anywhere else to this day it doesnt shift right amd leaks like crazy if you value your vehicle do not go here I had to sale my motorcycle to fix there mistakes

I took my vehicle there October 2016 for a tranny rebuild and before I got it home notice slippage. Now 7 months, 4 visits, and over 8 weeks in the shop there still scratching there heads as to what going on with it. Very poor and rude customer service. They never call to give updates and they act like I shouldnt call to check on it. Avoid this place at all cost.
