Johnny is the manager of the shop and he is absolutely 💯 honest on everything he tells you... i have a 2016 GMC 5.3 and the truck was making a tick noise so i took it to a shop before this and they say is my lifter and will cost me $2000 to $2500 to fix it. So some how i search around and found Peak Auto Repair. I took it in and ask Johnny and he took a look at it and he say theyll help me.. at the end he called me and told me that everything looks good. Just one of my push rod is bad... so cost me $400 for parts and labor..i also brought in my own oils and filter and they didnt charge me anything for changing it for me... im saving big time. If he wasnt honest with me.. i would of been paying at least $2000.. i highly recommend this auto repair shop. And will definitely come back.

I drive vehicles from Lincolnton to Hickory just so I can have them do my service for my vehicles. They are accurate on their estimates, they are honest, and dependable. I take my wifes vehicle to them, she has always been happy with them, and she is hard to please. I send everyone there, friends, family, and customers. Johnny has always been a straight shooter, I think people arent used to that so they give the shop a bad review. If I could give them 6 stars I would.

Johnny at Peak Auto is awesome! Ignore what Ken Allen wrote he was frustrated and bitter about his money pit of a vehicle. I referred him to Johnny who has taken 5 star care of me and my vehicles, and am super embarrassed that Ken would bad mouth someone i hold in high regard. Thats why i referred him!

Peak auto repair has to be the most reasonable shop to handle all your automotive issues in the hickory NC area . I have referred friends and family to Johnny and they have all said nothing but good things . My girlfriend was impressed how easy going her expierence was with him, and trust me shes not that easy to please .

35 years as in active businessman in construction I have never in my life come across search rude, nasty, belligerent and an uncaring owner as I did with Johnny. Someone suggested him I had my truck towed to this place and he actually said that he could not get underneath my vehicle to work on it. I asked about jacking IT up and he said too dangerous as if blocks do not exist.The biggest thing is when I showed up after he told me over the phone he refused to work on it, when I showed up to pick it up as I approached him I inquired if he was going to assist me with explaing the issue with my truck, as nasty as he could he barked at me shelling NO!$125 to have it towed only to be talked to like a dog and pay more to have it towed elsewhere.Most unpleasant person - sucks to be him.
