Broke my glasses. My regular eye doctor couldnt get me in. These guys got me an appointment in in few days and took care of me fast! Now theyre my new eye care facility.
We were asked to change our mask when we came in with one of theirs. A box was placed on the counter for us to get a mask. 1. How many people have put their hands in that box? 2. I had to remove my mask exposing other people to any germs I may have to switch them out. This policy does more harm than good. With that being said, the staff was very nice.
Our family has been a regular patient at this eye dr office for years. This year I went to get my annual eye exam with Dr. Woods with the result that I need to get a pair of eyeglasses. I went ahead to order the specific brand I wanted from an online store (Maui Jim), and they needed me to provide them with the PD measurements. It is a pupillary distance number that typically will range around 54 to 68mm for adults. I came back to their optic and asked an optician (Taylor) to help me. She asked me to sign the waiver for internet glasses, saying that they will not take any responsibility if the glasses come wrong. I signed it, and she did the measurement and gave me the prescription paper with additional specifications PD numbers written on it.When I submitted it to the internet store, they replied to me and said the PD is incomplete. I called the eye dr office and talked to the manager (Lisa), asking her for the complete measurements for my PD. Instead of helping me, she sounds so annoyed and said they dont usually do the PD measurement because they wanted their patients to spend the glasses purchased on their optic. Id love to order one from them and cut all of this hassle if only they have the Maui Jim brand on their collections. Besides, whats the point of us having our eyes examed at their office if they couldnt give us the complete prescription?! Purchasing glasses should be an open option for every patient.Given all of these difficulties, I think we will get our family eye exam to a different eye dr office and bringing our business elsewhere.
I love them!! Customer service was awesome and amazing. Great glasses too. The Doctor knows his stuff!! I wish I had found them before every eye doctor I ever went too!! Great experience! Doing Covid - 19, they are on point as well!
Have frequented them now for about four years and while the doctors are good I would not suggest purchasing any eyewear. I paid over $400 for their cheapest bifocals and can’t get the smear out of the lenses to save my life, they are also not sturdy and the screws were loose within a couple of months. I would suggest taking your subscription elsewhere and purchasing eyewear.
Writing for my wife. My wife and I were both patients of Dr. Lindsay in High Point. He recommended that my wife have a test to determine if she needed a surgical procedure. The person who did the test said that Dr. Lindsay would call us to explain test results. Over a month went by. Several calls were made to office with no response. After we finally got a staff member in direct contact with Dr. Lindsay he said my wife was a candidate for the surgery. Strangely he was making the appointment with the surgeon while my wife was on the phone. Duh. We were not informed of the appointment date or time until we called again and were not pleased with the person we spoke with. The Dr. had not read the report nor responded to us and when we got him through a staff member he made the appointment. What an oversight. Communication was horrible at best. We went to office to speak with someone about our concerns. The person was apologetic and helpful. We finally received the information needed about the appointment. We asked to speak to office manager and were informed they did not have one at that location. We received a firm promise that the office manager filling in from another location would call us. Dont ask if they did because they did not. WE WILL NEVER USE MYEYEDR. AGAIN. If this review confuses you just think how we have felt. We can not recommend this location period.
I have been a patient with this office for a long time and have been going to Dr Lindsey since he started with My Eye Doctor. Im am not happy with the service I had a new prescription back in Oct and received my new eye glasses but the first time the prism was left out and now I m still having problems keeping the eye glasses on I dont think the prescription is correct and made another appointment (this will have been my 2nd time there), NOT one time has Dr Lindsey rechecked my eye sight he said he only up the left eye a little, but I have a lazy left so maybe that eye cant take that power. I have spent 900 dollars on eye wear that I cant see out. Im constantly taking them off to read something on my phone, its like its to much power. When I look in the mirror its a little blurry, but he is not listening to what Im saying. My old glasses would be fine but they are several years old, they feel great but need a little more power. Dr Lindsey suggested that I get computer glasses but this is not going to solve my everyday problem. I hate that I have to go found another eye doctor.I need someone who is going to listen to me. I wear the glasses everyday I should know if Im having a problem. I NEED HELP. You may want to go to another eye doctor that listens.
If I could give this location a -5 stars I would.... I was going to change my home location to this location but the rep made my decision very easy to stay with the Adams Farm location. Rep was rude
I had a very pleasant experience with MyEyeDr today. Dr. Lindsey explained to me everything that was going on and was professional and knowledgeable. He even informed me that my current choice in contact lenses was the oldest style out on the market and they only let in half the amount of oxygen than more modern styles. ***NO ONE*** in the past 20+ years of me wearing that style of contacts informed me that there are better alternatives on the market until today. I even got a year supply of contact lenses and with the manufacture rebate Ill only pay $40 out of pocket. They have modern equipment that takes pictures of the back of your eyes preventing anyone from having to have their eyes dilated. That was worth the extra money, plus, theyll keep those pictures for reference against future pictures. Even had a machine that checked my eye pressure with a puff of air verses having to physically touch my eyes. I was in and out quickly in just over an hour.
I love Dr. Jicha but will not go back due to issues with insurance and cost. The icing on the cake was when I called to order contacts for my daughter and the person who answered said “she shouldn’t be out yet.” What difference does it make?? Order the contacts, don’t argue with me. Serve the customer!! We won’t be back and we’ve gone there for years.
We LOVE MyEyeDr in High Point, NC!! We have used their services for about 12 years and they have been so good. The Doctors are good and the staff is nice and personal. We especially like working with Travis when picking out our glasses. He makes is a fun experience!!
I called and made an appointment for my girls. When I came to my appointment 10 mins early the woman at the front desk told me they had them down for another day. This is not the first time this has happened. I left work early for no reason. I will never come back!
I love MyeyeDr, this place is so wonderful. I was able to get in and straight to the point. The staff is beyond friendly. My experience was wonderful this is my second year going and I wouldnt have it any other way.
Folks are really friendly and happy to help. Got a great optometrist both times Ive been.
The staff is great here myself and my children are patients i was very pleased with the service i would recommend anyone to come here
If I could give NO stars I would. The optical dpt. Does not FIT you to ensure your chosen pair of frames will fit properly. Only once every 6 years do I get new frames for my sunglasses and glasses. When they saw I was willing to drop $500+ they didnt care.... lets get her money!! Their hours are TERRIBLE and after waiting 3 weeks to get my sunglasses, they broke 1 week later due to too heavy of a lens (of which they should have recognized would be an issue). Apparently you have 30 days from the day you PURCHASED to return. Lmao.... so technically I had 1 week! Unprofessional staff, incompetent new management who is unwilling to help... oh and that warranty they talk you into buying..... good for one year only and then you are SOL. Also, to fix a scratched lens, you have to have an UPDATED prescription after 1 year which means... MORE MONEY!!! Save your time AND your $$$$$$. GO TO LENS CRAFTERS!!!! Should have never wasted my time elsewhere.
The staff talked to the insurance on the phone before me and my daughtert left office and were told the eye exam was covered, after one month got bill.I called my daughters insuance to ask why, the insurance told me that they have told eyedoctor office staff on the phone what amount they would pay for eye exam.after the staff talked to my insurance, the office knew how much would get from my insurance, why still told us that my daughters eye exam was covered and we were good to go.anyway,I paid the bill and done with this office.
Unprofessional and expensive for sub-par services.
Very unprofessional! Will never step foot in this place!
Not good at all
