Easy 5 stars. Great ice cream; just look at the lines waiting at the windows. I dont know if its changed owners in the meantime, but I have been a customer here since the 80s. My favorite is always a simple soft ice cream, cone, chocolate dipped.

My first time there however we drive by often and theres usually a line which moved fairly quickly.-Parking is adequate and there are benches and picnic tables on the property.-We kept it simple and ordered van/choc twist cones. They were fine. I may be inclined to try their homemade hard iced cream if we ever go back.-Service was excellent.-It cost $7.50 for 1 small & 1 medium cones which is about average.

This is the best banana ice cream I’ve ever had! It doesn’t taste artificial at all. When they say that it’s home made, it really tastes like it! We’ll definitely be back, despite some poor interpersonal skills…lol, which is the only reason they didn’t receive a full five stars.

I’m SO happy that Dairy Deluxe is back open for the season! I love that they’re local and the ice cream is all homemade. They have fun flavors like blueberry ice cream and carrot carrot cake ice cream. It’s hard to choose, but my favorites are probably the coffee, green tea and cookies & cream. We’ll usually take home a couple of the hard ice cream flavors in a pint/quart and it stores well in the freezer!

This is the medium soft serve in the waffle cone. It’s huge! And so creamy. Definetly coming back

Hello from Lesters Smitty Smith, just would like you to know I had the best strawberry shortcake Sunday a long while at this location thats why I gave them🌟🌟🌟🌟 Stars service was great lines were long but they went fast homemade ice cream taste like wonderful Im definitely going to go back and get more at this location the way I like it only one thing I didnt like thats why they didnt get five stars is cash only and the sign once again I had this problem somewhere else when you got to the window there was a small sign of sizes of a matchbook cover said no cash !!!!! I dont mind it but please posted and bigger letters somewhere else before you get in the line its only fair to the customers I had to run out Ive line and go to ATM which Im not crazy about I dont carry a lot of cash nowadays on me but long story short ice cream was delicious just be aware cash-only so Im posting this have a great day from Lester Smitty Smith I remember have a great day ! 😍

Great ice cream. We got the soft serve in a medium cone. They put A LOT of ice cream in the cone. Way more than we expected. However, we are not complaining.

One of the best ice creams I have had around Edison. An added bonus is that they are open quite late, so any late night cravings can easily be satisfied. You also get a choice of hard and soft ice cream (not ice) for the most common flavors. The only downside I can think of is that they only accept cash.

Nearly all of the ice cream here is hand made. There are some unique flavors like blueberry, green tea, and others. The quality of their hand made ice cream is exceptional and the price is reasonable.

Overall pretty decent ice cream rich in texture taste and flavor. Been here a few times now and there always seems to be at least one issue with the order which I believe is due to a slight language barrier but otherwise okay.

Dairy Deluxe was absolutely delightful. I was a little skeptical since it looks like I knocked off Dairy Queen, but then I tasted the ice cream and honestly there is no other ice cream better around here its awesome!

Sorry it was so good I didnt have time to take a photo. Lol! Its DELICIOUS!!! Taste homemade and cared for. The cookie n cream is unlike any other weve tasted. Almost like a old school, churned, buttermilk ice cream with chocolate crumbled cookies (OMG its the best weve had!). The banana boat was like watching a work of art as the man made it right before our eyes. I was bummed at first that I didnt get chocolate syrup but you dont even need it. It was perfect all on its own. Ice cream was very cold. So cold I froze my fingers but didnt care because I couldnt stop eatting it. Lol! Price for a date of 2 was $14 for a banana boat and cone ice cream (Note: CASH ONLY / No Cards). But most creamery places in Jersey (north or central) is this pricey now n days. Im glad it was the only place we found open until 11pm. I would definitely go here again! Oh and they have diary free, gluten free options too! Im so happy about this! Im going to try that next time.
