Marvin Sutton (ExtraSpace Storage Store Manager- 4616 Kenny Rd. Columbus, OH 43220) was incredibly helpful and patient with my circumstances & questions regarding the types, locations and amount of space I was looking for on the evening of Thursday 8/26/2021. He helped me find the right solution to fit my storage needs and turned what otherwise might have been a stressful event into a painless process. Marvin answered my call around 5:30pm on a Thursday evening and also allowed me to inspect a potential storage unit upon my arrival, which by now was at almost 6pm (aka, closing time). We then discussed my needs and approaching deadline while he helped me to understand & weigh my options. It soon became clear that I would require the rental of a second unit, found at another location, not too far away. I finally reached a decision, long past closing time, regarding the use of two separately located units & could have easily been directed to complete all of the “paperwork” myself online. Instead, Marvin simply offered to write up both rental agreements for me and proceeded to walk me through the entire process without a problem. He had easily delayed his own departure by more than an hour just to take care of me (plus I’m sure he still had other things he needed to take care of before he could leave that night). Marvin clearly went above & beyond the call of duty just to make things as easy as possible for a new customer. Extra Space Storage was super easy to look for, compare and rent a unit. The best part was being able to do it all from the comfort of my home. If you go to the unit the same day, your key will be in your unit . completely contact-less.The only in person contact was because i waited a day to go to my new unit. They have to lock the unit at the end of the day, so i had to go to the office to get the key.

Great experience. Willing to go above and beyond. Very clean and maintained spaces. Highly recommend. Price was very reasonable and competitive.

Met with Kellen and he showed me a couple units explaining all the details. We decided that he didn’t have the size I needed available. He then checked his other 2 locations that were close and found one that would fit my needs. He did a great job and is very personable. Both agents at this location are very nice and helpful. Highly recommend these guys.

Very clean facility. Very secure . Love the fact you have to enter a access code to go in and leave! Makes me feel a lot more comfortable with my belongings being there! Couldnt ask for more from a storage place

I have a unit here and the facility is very nice. However I am giving a bad review because I signed a contract for $288.00 a month and they have been charging me $385.00 each month. I called in and they said they raised the rates but didnt notify me via mail or anything. They will also not refund me for the amount I should be recieving back. It is absolutely ridiculous and apparantly the contract i signed was useless. I will be removing my stuff and moving to a different location.

Upon opening the door to begin storing my unit was very clean. The price for the size was spot on and everyone I spoke with was friendly & helpful!

We were in the midst of moving and realized the storage unit we got was going to be WAY too small. In a panic call ExtraSpace direct. I am so thankful for their wonderful customer service. They worked with me to not only move us into a larger unit but switched us to a unit at a different facility so we would end up paying less because of the first month free. Choose ExtraSpace - They look out for you!

I’ve had multiple units here at different times for more than a year and its been great! The monthly price for most units is good for Columbus and I’ve had a good experience working with the staff!

This property has lost its focus on customer satisfaction and it has centered now on how to make an extra nickel at the customers expense. A sad loss . . .

She answered each and every question without hesitation and when I went in to view the potential units I was looking at, she went above and beyond showing me around and the security that they have. I needed room to store some business overstock and this turned out to be a great option. Robynn set my account up in less then 20 minutes and it quick and easy. I was able to unload my van and get the move completed that day. Since then I needed to downsize my storage and again she was able to get me into the right fit in no time. Everything went smoothly. But one thing that bothered me was the insurance fee which was no mention online. I was inform that the total for move in date would be the rent and one time administration fee. So please inform people before they make a reservation.

Ive stored some equipment at this facility since March 2010 and have had a very good experience. The drive lanes are clean and Robynn and Al have been very helpful. To store my trailer more easily, I asked to be moved to a different unit. They made it happen almost immediately, which I really appreciated. I definitely recommend this location.

Safe, well kept, easy to reserve.Beware: Every 4-6 months they increase your rate by $10 without informing you. You will just notice a higher charge on your credit card. I am currently paying 54% higher than my original rate.

This was our 2nd time at Extra Space Storage, but first time at this location. They have such a smooth system for moving in. You do the reservation online and Brian called to confirm everything on the day of move in. Once there you electronically sigh the lease and you are ready to go.I should also give a big thanks to Brian. I was there the next morning moving some stuff in. After 6+ inches of snow my door was tough to get to. The plows were busy working, but hadnt made it down my row yet. Brian grabbed a shovel and helped dig me a path to the garage.***Insurance is required. They offer it for a reasonable amount, but if you bring a copy of your homeowners insurance to show you are covered there is no extra charge.

Bed bugs in their units. My husband rented a storage unit to temporarily Store our things and our bed definitely has bed bugs now. I have never had a bug issue of this nature in my life. I have bites all over me also. Not happy.
