Through Allstate, Johns Towing, a part of Christie Auto Sales & Service, was called, as my car was disabled. Nathan came over; courteous, professional, efficient. He got my car going again; great service. I highly recommend them for your car service needs.

I would like to give this company a great review but I cannot. My teenage son was in an accident and this is the company the Clearwater PD called to tow the vehicle. Somehow the only key to the vehicle was lost in the process of the insurance company picking up the car and now I have to pay to replace the key. I asked the owner to split the cost and the only response I got was “the guy didn’t speak any English”. I don’t really care about that. I just want a key so my car can be repaired and someone should be responsible for replacing it and it is not me !!!

The owner charges very reasonable labor rates and they will install parts you bring in.

I brought my truck in for an alignment and when I got it back it was still pulling right. They told me to bring it back and they would try again but instead I took it to another shop in New Port Richey and paid for another alignment. The other shop did the alignment right the first time and told me that they reviewed Christie Autos alignment charts and noticed the the difference in time between the first check before the alignment and the second check after the alignment was 13 minutes. The first check showed that the alignment was really bad and then the final check showed the alignment was perfect. I will not recommend this shop to anyone. I feel ripped off.

Had a tow scheduled through my club, arrived in only 30 minutes, driver was very knowledgeable regarding special equipment needed for my vehicle. Very courteous and allowed me to accompany the tow. Highly recommended, and they even offered a discount for New tires at their facility in Holiday. Excellent company.

John was a beacon whose light is sorely missed. They run a fair and honest shop and dealership. Love you guys!

As a Women who knows NOTHING about cars and almost always gets ripped off I can promise you Luis the mechanic and Juan the office manager are ALWAYS truthfull they are the most trustworthy car shop Ive EVER been to and their prices are very reasonable compared to most places. They always help me out even if theyre slammed and they take the time to explain everything to you If you dont understand something. Im a feminist and I approve this message 😉👍❤

Not able to fix hybrid cars

Needed a new Bridgestone tire for my 4Runner. Called Saturday afternoon and was told the tire would be in Monday. By 10am Monday they had my tire mounted and balanced. Great service and a fair price.

Beware of this unethical business. I was in a small fender bender on 19 last week and my car was towed there. I was told on the phone that my car was totaled and un-drivable. They told me it wouldnt start because the engine was damaged and radiator was smashed and leaking fluid. What they didnt count on was me bringing a mechanic. There was nothing wrong with my car other than a little cosmetic damage. The radiator was fine and so was the engine. It only needed to be jump started, which the manager refused to do. I had to pull the car onto the road to jump it and it started right up. The manager than tried to buy the car from me and kept upping his offer. I refused, so he jacked the price of the tow and storage to almost double what I owed. I called him a liar and he STILL kept offering to buy the car. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!.

Family own sure, Honest? I would like to think I know what Im talking about when it comes to cars I put a few Engines in myself these days I just pay to get my car serviced. This company took advantage and will any chance they can was outrageously charge for half assed work performed but I guess its my fault for not crawling under the vehicle in the dirt and making sure they did what they said they did, 1STAR!

I never ever worry when I take my vehicle to this place. I usually tell them to fix whatever it needs and never worry about my car coming out worse or being gouged. I couldnt say enough great things about this shop!

Review for Johns towing, My teenage daughter rear ended someone in my car while I was out of town. Tow driver shows up and tells her its 85 and 5 to tow it to my house about 15 miles away in Oldsmar. She assumes that means $90.00. She waits for a ride while her boyfriend goes with the driver. Boyfriend gives driver 100.00, which isnt enough, so tow driver takes it to their shop in Holiday. I talk to driver later and work out the miscommunication, driver agrees to deliver car to house for balance of 70.00, and provide a receipt.Back in town today after being gone 2 weeks. Call company to arrange delivery. Now Im told theres a 600.00 lien on the vehicle for storage over 5 days. Man on phone, (John I think) continuously hangs up on me when I try to get info. Cant even go get it myself due the lien. Was not informed of any storage fees in advance. John claims a certified letter was sent, which of course was never received by anyone here.Based on conversations with my daughter and myself later, they obviously wanted the insurance deal. Vehicle doesnt have collision coverage, so no deal for them, once they learned that suddenly the storage lien was mentioned.On top of that they claim the driver never received the cash initially either (despite driver telling me on the phone that day he did) No receipt was initially provided, so I seem to be out 100.00.The whole things seems shady, now I have to file complaints with BBB and see about going through civil court. What a giant hassle, never use this company unless you know EXACTLY what youre getting, up front and documented.

STAY AWAY !!! As a recent former employee of John Bangos aka Christie Auto.. I witnessed customers bring their vehicles back multiple times for the same mechanical issues to the service shop repeatedly and witnessed the shop supervisor yell at customers.. I witnessed body and paint repairs done to below average standards ::example.. Poor prep and welding,,excessive use of body filler instead of proper metal repair..improper use of frame straightening equipment by just pulling on them and not using the provided computer for proper measurements... Cars painted outside of spray booth which is illegal and causes dirt to be in the finish... And their body repair guy sedated out of his mind.. With customers very unhappy with their service.. One of their tow truck operators was arrested for solicitation of prostitution while driving his company tow truck and was allowed to return to work upon his release.??? The dirtiest tow trucks around with outdated and antiquated equipment .. The majority of the vehicles sold off their car lot have been wrecked or have rebuild titles and are put back together with salvage parts... His labor rates are higher than most NEW car dealerships...His tires that he sells are very overpriced and a good percentage of them are being and have been sold out of date..yes tires have an expiration date !! He also jeoprodizes the safety of his employees by not repairing lifts that are not secured to the ground properly and cables and safety locks that are damaged ..I witnessed a $80,000 AMG Mercedes fall from a lift that a cable broke on.. Due to improper maintenance..Also I was not paid according to what we had discussed prior to my hiring .. Commissions were not paid for sales...extra hours deducted..no company car or gas card as promised either..my personal vehicle was also hit in the parking lot of the facilities and I was told not our problem to the tune of $800 in damages... So I recommend looking elsewhere for your service,, body repair,, towing,, or to purchase a car or buy tires as there are lots of other places where you will be treated more fairly and spend less money for far better service.. STAY AWAY !!!!!

Horrible service do not get fooled by the pretend nice employee in this place this place is horrible and there is a million places you can go to do not risk your time or money not only did I almost get killed in a car they sold me with my 5 kids in it days after purchase....please go some where else do not risk your life spend your money or waist your energy ..So not worth the headache will sure be reporting to the BBB as well as to commissioners office... eventually only few month after got car it broke down and wouldnt run I called and they took it back no refund ofcurse they are so hungry I just let it be still think Kevin is a lil girl in a mens body and under his fathers showdown such a Sad human being.ni wonder his like 40 and not married what pathetic woman would marry such a low life human being.if I could do something good in this world is guide good people to not buy here go somewhere else please dont put your life and money at risk is not worth the headache I wish there was something lower than a 1 star rating but since is the lowest that why I gave them the 2 star but they diserve nothing but to be shot down

They did a very good job taking care of my car

First, sold me a truck with a bad transmission, acted surprised when I brought it back to them within 15 minutes of signing the paperwork, they did a transmission flush but didnt remove the old seal, so not I have a truck that randomly goes into Limp mode and leaks trans fluid. I make them replace it, Im given a Chevy Trailblazer that is literately falling apart on the inside. When I sent that back, Kevin, the owners son got in, went to shut the drivers side door, and the whole panel came off in his hand. I made payments here and there to shut them up all the while saving to put another down payment on a new car somewhere else. Its not a repo when you literately drive it into your lot, take off the plates and drive away in a new car. Sad fact is, both of these steaming piles of garbage are back out in their lot for $6000.00.There are a few hundred car dealerships in the area, avoid this one like your life depended on it.Am I still a nice guy John?

The google reviews here are a little concerning. Ive been going here for almost 2 years and ive always been generall satisfied. Sometimes its taken a little longer than expected, sometimes the price has been a little high, but sometimes its been extra fast, sometimes cheaper than expected. Theyve thrown in extra little things like wipers, and Gary has always been pretty straightforward with me anout repairs. I have noticed that literally everyone here smokes, pretty much constantly, and one time (of the 6 or 7 times i brought my van in) the cab smelled of smoke, but it went away after an hour or 2. Its hit or miss, but they havent screwed me over like a lot of these reviews claim, and Ill continue to use them as long as that remains the truth.

DONT GO HERE! Mis-Diagnosed my car. Never again.

THERE MANAGER IS NOTHING MORE THAN A LUBE TECH AND NO CLUE HOW TO FIX ANYTHING I SEEN ALOT OF SIMPLE MISTAKES AND 90% OF THERE TIRES ARE DISCONTINUED AND HAVE OUT DATED D.O.T.# ON THEM THEY ARE UNSAFE THE PLACE LOOKS LIKE A EPISODE OF SANFORD & SON. IT WAS NOTHING BUT WANTED TALENT FOR ME.
