Ive had two stereo systems installed in my trucks and both were done right! Installation was nice and tight! everything works perfectly with well balanced sound! Mark is very knowledgeable and doesnt push you to buy what you dont really need or wouldnt probably use. He will point out to you a great sound system for the type of music and budget you want to spend. Highly recommend!

Born and raised in the area 40 years I know the area I never thought I’d find an honest mechanic, my dad has always worked on my car as he was a mechanic my whole life so I never needed to go anywhere up till 8 years ago my dad is allergic to car parts and can’t work on my car anymore. Highly recommend this place. Stopped in and spoke with a younger guy I believe the son of the owners who was their car stereo car. Even though he was busy he took plenty if time out to patiently answer all my very specific questions and finally helped me land on a decision for which 6.5 speakers to buy for one of my cars. He definitely knew his stuff and wasnt just trying to sell me more expensive stuff, in fact he was aiming cheaper. I ended on a nice pair on Rockford fosgate punch component series that sound phenomenal in my car. They have great prices there as well.

Owner has a bit of a crusty attitude but you have to run a tight business to make money. Mark was incredibly helpful and took time out of his day to help me even though he knew I wasnt going to buy anything.

The absolutely worst experience of my life. Not to mention my interior was dirty after they finished cleaning it up.It took them 3 days do to a simple alarm system. The store smelled like death covered by fabreez. Do not shop at this location i had to bring my alarm to another shop and fix the alarm system

They were fantastic! I purchased an auto keyless entry from them in March. I was having problems and called them this morning. They said bring it in and we will look at it. They repaired it promptly and they did not even charge me. You could not ask for better service. I intend to recommend them to family and friends !

The lady there is very rude. Lies to clients about the Interlok rules. Tells them they can only have service done there on their vehicle. I had work done at the dealership and they caused it to violate. When I called Smart Start they told me to bring my receipt with me to have it recalibrated and I would not be charged. When I went there she said I had to pay the $50 fee. I ended up going to another location and they did not have to charge me since it wasnt my fault. When I called Car Tunes to cancel my appointment and advise that I wouldnt be returning to that location and she said she already did because I wasnt going to come back. Horrible customer service!

I came here to get a new stereo in my car and Im really pleased with what i left with. When i arrived my car was a mess, it was all tore up and had some issues. The staff was friendly and very knowledgeable. They awnsered all my questions. The products for sale were nice and im happy with the one i picked. They had a nice waiting room and i was able to occupy my 4 year old while we waited. When it was time to see my car i couldnt believe it . it was all cleaned up and put back together. My new stereo sounds great and looks great and im so happy with it. I believe the price was very fair. the staff went above and beyond for me and i really appreciate that. its hard to find good service nowadays, i highly recommend this business!

The company told us it would not take them that long to install our new system and that they would need a deposit before they would do any work we made a deposit of $1000 and then the next day we dropped our car off around 11 am on 7/14/2016 and we called enterprise to rent a car for the day. We came back around closing time because we had not received a call and they asked if they could keep it overnight, we were very hesitant because we had work in the morning and wanted to return the rental car but were left with no choice the lady in the office laughed and said well luckily we got the rental, we did not find this so funny because we were told it would be 3 to 6 hours and then it would be finished. The lady said they would need 2 and 1/2 hours more after close to complete the installation, we wanted to stay and wait after hours but none of the employees wanted to work an hour after close. The lady at the front joked well just lie to your work and say your car broke down so we have more time to work on it. This was very aggravating to hear seeing at this time they had already had our vehicle 6 1/2 hours. My husband arrived there early morning 7/15/2016 and the car was still not completed he informed them many times he had work at 11 am and needed to get the work done as quickly as possible. They opened up at 8:30am it should have been finished by 10 10:30 latest as estimated they only needed 2 more hours to work on it. They had our vehicle for 24 hours and my husband was late to work and then they charged us an extra $120 on labor instead of the total being $1500 it came out to be $1620.98. I am extremely angry at this company! They wanted us to lie, they lied to us, and they charged us more. This is a family operation. I have been going there off and on for 16 years now. They have always been fair and definitely honest. Finding a honest repair shop now days is like finding gold. I work on cars as a hobby, I bring jobs to them that I am not prepared to do or simply not in the mood to do. I had Mark do a full ac system in my 94 roadmaster and it is still working today 5 years later. I had a diesel leak on my mercedes, Mark pointed out a weathered fuel line that I missed at no charge. I previously left my mercedes at a specialized mercedes shop in tarpon springs for a week and they could not find it. Mark found it seconds after opening the hood and did not charge me. I went to mark when my transmission died in my roadmaster, he referred me to a honest transmission shop (atex on chicago ave) instead of doing work hes not proficient at. After 16 years of business with Mark I could go on and on about the work he has done for me.In short FAIR PRICES GREAT WORK HONEST PEOPLE.PS THEY JUST MOVED TO 2940 GRAND BLVD CHECK THEM OUT.

The worst place i have ever been !! spent $1400 dollars still have multiple problems with my stereo system. called them back wouldnt help wouldnt look at the car completely didnt care. had to even get the police involved to get my car back. very shady business BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! will be taking legal action. If you want your vehicle done right DO NOT go here. when i first brought my vehicle in they where suppose to fix some alternator noise and some previous equipment fixed. after that was all done an finished i agreed to let them build my subwoofer box and install it. we AGREED on a price of $1000 dollars for a complete install. all the equipment was mine so this price was for labor only. after the car is finished i arrive to pick it up an to my surprise my bill is over $1400 after fighting and arguing and having the police come to this business i had no choice but to pay an take them to court. once i pay and receive my car i notice the original noise that i brought the car in for is STILL THERE. i proceed back inside to find out what the answer to this is and they tell me the noise is coming from my amp i have to replace it. i go out buy a new amp have it installed still have the same noise. i call them and explain this and they say ok sorry. my original problem was never even fixed. to top it all off the way they built my subwoofer box i cant even change my tail lights without taking out the entire box which is hours of labor and time. to make matters even worse i had to pay in ALL CASH they would not except debit or credit cards when they clearly have a sign on there building that they do. police could not do anything due to it being a civil matter and no laws where broken. just shady un professional people that will LIE right to your face.

I just walked out of the store after shopping here for almost ten years. I came looking for an HID bulb set, and was shown one for $160. I asked to see the other thay was told was $100, and was told it was so bad they didnt like selling it. Was then told they would actually REFUSE to sell the cheaper one to me. While I was looking for reviews of the product online I was continuously walked past once I asked for the products brand, as it was clearly simply purchased online and HAD NO BRAND INFORMATION on it, and was blatantly lied to that it was a dealer only item and then rudely stated I buy them for people just like you, who like to shop the internet in my store. I then showed him the exact product online, brand new, for fifty dollars, he babbled a bit, and I said have a nice day and walked out.For years and years I have not minded paying a bit more because I felt that they were friendly and honest with me and I understand a business must make money, but being blatantly ride, charging me triple the cost of an item by telling me its a SUPER SPECIAL PRODUCT only they can get, and then being UPSET with me for checking online just proves their only goal is to rip you off and hope you wont check what the items really cost. A week agi I purchased a fuse that snapped in half when I touched it, and after noticed the box was SIX YEARS old. They WILL sell you old product for the same as new. They WILL tell you only their most expensive item will work for you and that anything else is terrible. BRING YOUR PHONE AND CHECK THE PRICES OF ANY ITEM YOU WANT TO BUY HERE. YOU WILL GUARANTEED SEE THAT THEY ARE PURCHASING LOW QUALITY EBAY GOODS AND TRIPLING THE PRICE. IF THE BOX HAS NO BRAND ON IT, THERE IS NO BRAND, ITS AN EBAY ITEM! Only buy name brand items in a new, sealed box, such as subwoofers. Get any warranty they promise you IN WRITING or they will say they never told you that. Ive shopped here since I was 16 and am almost 26, and sadly I will never return again. I dont like shopping and being treated like a moron, blatantly lied to because they assume I dont know what they are talking about and then being told they will REFUSE to sell me the cheaper item because its bad.
