Had the pleasure of having Adam help me today.Had to buy a new controller as I break them semi-regularly. Adam greeted me with a smile and great customer service skills. He also informed me about the pro package/protection plan.Rather than being a pushy salesperson, he simply informed me about why it might be beneficial to me and save me money in the long run.I am a general manager of a business where we also have “memberships/sales” alongside our typical business model.Adam did a phenomenal job in helping me find what I wanted, making me feel welcome, and not “SELLING” me something I didn’t need, but informing me why it might be useful to me as a consumer, and let me make my own decision.Great job.

The staff was very helpful and the store was in good condition. It has been a while since I have been in a Game Stop but this was a good experience and will likely go back next time Im looking for a game.

Great place of nostalgia that I hope continues to stay around. I do feel this company will need to branch up to keep up with the increasing demand for stream gaming. The staff at the Green Springs location is nice and knowledgeable as always.

My grandson calls this place “heaven!” We went last night to preorder Super Mario 3D World. Mia helped my grandson and he was a happy customer! She is knowledgeable and friendly and explained the freebies that he would get for preordering. Today he picked up his game along with two posters that are now in his bedroom!

Was on hold for 20 minutes and then tried to continuously call back for another 10 minutes. When I asked if they had a few things in stock, I was told they have nothing in stock. Its apparent that they didnt even bother to look in on inventory. Unprofessional and lazy employees.

The sales associates handled our early black Friday visit like a champ even though they got flooded. Genuine care was given in both theyre approach with responses and moving with purpose. Will definitely recommend others to that location.

I dont think its much of a secret at this point that GameStop is awful to their employees. I never go to one expecting anything other than to be pitched rewards cards and pre-orders so that the unfortunate (but probably totally awesome) soul working there can meet the quotas established by their overbearing corporate overlords and get enough hours to pay their bills. We went in and found a used copy of a game. It was apparently mis-priced and was significantly cheaper than it should have been. The person helping us (I presume the manager) didnt bat an eyelash when we mentioned that the price on the box was different from what rang up. She just fixed it without even being asked. I will 100% return to this store and even preorder something in support of service like this.

Probably the best Gamestop in Birmingham. These guys are always really chill when I walk in, and dont really try to shove whatever Gamestop is selling down your throat. They just gently ask you, so Ive wound up buying more of that kind of thing than I otherwise would simply because I dont feel hassled when I go in. They also get a good selection of the exclusive stuff, so youll want to go here first if youre looking for a Gamestop exclusive that is pretty hard to find. The store is always clean, the employees are always friendly, and it almost feels like a different store than some of the other ones Im used to in North AL.

I love going in this particular GameStop because they are so cool! I can talk to them like I am a part of their family and they are just the all around best!!!

I had already been through this problem with one gamestop but the homewood gamestop DOES NOT TEST THEIR MERCHANDISE!! Its bad enough the xbox one I bought doesnt work but then to also have a broke controller is a huge slap in the face. Once I get this fixed I am done with these stores. Dont promise things you cant deliver gamestop.

This guy hustled us so hard we left there thinking we got a deal. Cant remember the guys name but we had a great experience!

For some reason the incoming phone calls are a priority, not the customers in the store, so we called and hung up until the associate ignored incoming calls

The guy who said rude lil jerks work there wasnt lying. Tell you how bad my service was. Upon walking into the store Im welcomed (+1), but the clerk quickly returns to the long line in front of him (-1). Another employee does inventory while the line grows but getting out of there that night was more important then the customers decision to come back (-2). After not being served until I get to the counter, I tell the guy I have a reservation; friendly enough he looks me up and informs me my Game Stop Rewards Cards has expired (+1). Normally I dont care until my girlfriends expires too, but he seemed like he was having a hard night being abandoned by his coworker. So figured why not, and went ahead and renewed with my game purchase. I leave the store fairly happy and ready to play.THREE WEEKS LATERSo the month has changed over and I still havent recieved my magazine. Im tired of playing this game and go to trade it in. I dont return to same store, but go to another one. This clerk informs me that my card hadnt been renewed and was expired and give me the Gamestop speech. I guess that guy figured he didnt get paid enough and took my 10 or 15 bucks renewal fee and bought some beers, the lil jerk
