I had gone to get my free oil change at Hendricks. While there they checked my brakes and said I needed from disc brakes repaired. I carried my truck to Firestone in Hoover for the repair because the price of repair was better. 2 hours later they called puzzled because upon inspection they said my brakes looked brand new. That’s why my wife and I use Firestone. They are honest and efficient

If youre thinking of going anywhere else, forget it. This is where you want to go. Great people, great product. And if Jonathan is there, I know youll be in good hands!

I took our company vehicle in for a slow leak on one of the tires at 7:00 AM on a week day and was back on the road within the hour. The gentleman that checked me in was polite and courteous. What else can I say? This was a start of a really good day.

I have been a loyal customer for over 5 yrs, I took a used car I just bought in to get the brakes checked. They reported back that Besides needing front brakes that I also needed 4 new tires, and a multitude of other repairs from $500 for a valve cover gasket to a new water pump for $1500.I refused based on the pressure sales approach and what appears to be a general attitude of “GET MORK WORK”.I took the car to a brake tire specialist and general mechanic I was referred to by a friend, everything checked out ok, I didn’t need any of the things Firestone in Hoover told me.

We stopped in on a Sunday and it was very nice place got the help we needed thanks for being so helpful and nice

Way too busy… I pulled up to see about getting an oil change and a tire rotation, and they had cars on the curbs and even more cars parked in the grass… I couldn’t even park anywhere to go inside and talk to someone…

Make sure you check your tires before you come. I have two vehicles and I brought them here and both times they told me I had a nail in my tire. Not sure if their parking lot is full of nails or if its a game. Also, I waited 3 and a half hours just for an oil change. Ugh!!! So done!

My visit started well, I was greated pleasantly & professionally but things quickly went bad! I had been towed after an emergency blow out. I explained I needed 1 tire & needed to be on my way. The service manager came out an hour & a half later & told me I really needed all new tires. When I looked in to the shop my car had all the wheels off & the hood was up. Sadly what I expected for a middle aged woman on her own with an expensive vehicle. After all that time they didnt even have a tire to fit it. It took me 2 hours to have 1 tire put on. Be very weary of this establishement!

Helpful people. Accommodating. I had a tire get sliced by something in the road and needed a hard-to-find tire installed within a day and they were able to accommodate while other places werent. Quick turnaround although they were busy. WiFi. Coffee. Easy parking. Good location. Certainly recommended. I was pleased with their work. I requested to keep my damage tire and they were happy to take care of me. The tire was balanced perfectly and they didnt damage my 21 rims. Id be glad to use them every time I need work.

Highly customer oriented automobile service center. The staff are courteous and friendly, eager to solve customers car issues, waiting area is comfortable. The Technicians are quick and complete most minor services like an oil change in short time.Overall Id say this Firestone, like most other franchises I have patronised in the past in Texas is good and customer oriented. Great staff that is very knowledgeable and always willing to help. I go here regularly for oil changes, tire patches, and maintenance. Their pricing is consistent and I never feel like theyre trying to sell me something I dont need for my car. They regularly suggest maintenance that needs to be done, even if Im just there for something simple. This shows that they really care and they want your car to be running as well as possible.

I previously purchased tires from this location and also bought the extended warranty - and Boy was I lucky that I did! I ended up having to replace two tires back to back thanks to construction and the people at firestone were always kind about it.I recently went in because my tire sensor kept going off and they let me know I was overfilling my tires! Rookie mistake, but they didn’t even charge me even though “money is time!”.A great, honest, and kind group to work with!My family and I will continue to do business with them.

Females beware.I came here for brakes. Then was given the bs about a bogus repair with an inflated price. I have a mechanic I normally use and have used for 20 years. They told me that I needed this repair or my vehicle will be ruined and no longer run. I called my mechanic and told him what they said and based off the information I gave him he thought they were full of it. I paid for my brakes and took my car to my mechanic who confirmed there was absolutely nothing wrong with my car. Try tried to scam me for a 1000. Never ever will I step foot on their property.

This is just a poorly managed location thats outgrown its space. I stopped coming here years ago for those very reasons. The Pelham location is my preference and an equal distance. A visit here wont be timely or impressive. At a minimum hope they ask for ID before charging services to your account. They didnt in my case, which is the only reason for my visit to this location.

I explicitly told them I had an issue with my tire pressure sensor and asked them to check it as they were replacing all my tires. They told me they would. When I went to pick it up, I asked about it and they said, did they call you about it? I told them no and he said oh, well it doesnt look like they did anything with the sensors. We can replace it but youll have to come back and itll be $80 to replace and $80 for the part. 🤦‍♂️ Now I have to take it somewhere else for someone to take the tire back off to replace the sensor. 🤦‍♂️

We stopped because we had a blow out on the interstate. The staff was friendly and helpful. Much better prices than I get at home. And for a busy work day, they got us in and out fairly quick.

Did oil change, no problems, friendly service.

The last time I was there for tires they put the wheel bolts back on with an air gun when I specifically asked they they dont. They where so tight no one could get them off and I had to go back just to get them to loosen them. Two bolts were stripped because of this. The service is good and they gave me a great deal on my tires (best around) but they have to pay more attention if they want continued business.

I have been frequenting this location for the better part of 7 years. Wonderful reliable service, decent prices and great customer service. I recommend this location to anyone that is looking for those qualities.

Have been getting quality work done here for 7+ years. Colby and Marlin are to of the most trustworthy mechanics I know by name. Christina up front is one of the best. They always take A+ care of all our vehicles. Never pushy on upselling useless services but informative about those you could overwise overlook.

They were nice and quick to check tire pressure when my low tire light came on unexpectedly. They were closing shortly so I was very impressed.

I always get my oil changes here. If I didnt have a low cost mechanic, I would use them for other things because among shops like them they have the lowest cost.

If you want an honest and objective assessment of you vehicle, this is the place. My wife went to a shop down the road for an oil change they told her the front tire could blow out at anytime. They also told her she needed full synthetic oil. She called me and I told her let the guys at Firestone look at it. Sure enough didnt need a new tire and they put a synthetic blend in. I always use synthetic oil but she didnt want to spend that much before going out of town so it was fine. FYI - with synthetic oil you can go 15k between oil changes. It is much better for you motor than conventional oil.

Ive always hated getting my car serviced, but this place makes the task less daunting. Theyre usually very quick and efficient and if theres ever an issue, they are quick to resolve it in a timely manner and with respect.

We had an associate named Bradford at 2:40 who told us that patching up a tire would take 45 minutes up to an hour. We called an hour later and we were told that they were going to get started. Finally we drove up there at 5:10 and the truck and tire were exacyly where it had been when we had left it. We walked in and talked to an associate who told us they had gotten backed up. We told them who rang us up. He went out to mention to Bradford that we were there to get our keys back. He didnt have the nerve to come in and explanation so he picked up the phone to look busy. The whole experience was unprofessional. I understand getting busy, but what about a courtesy call to update a customer the delay/progress. Not even an apology was issued. Just excuses. I dont recommend this place to anyone.

Hit or miss depending who is behind the register and in the garage. Tire prices are good and often there are great sales. Service is a crapshoot. Expect a wait unless you make an appointment.

I had a blowout on a tire and brought my car in. The technician found that the AAA person who changed the tire over torqued the bolts and stripped two of them out. They documented this issue and I should be able to get reimbursed. I was ready to give them 5 stars, but I have one issue. After leaving the shop, I realized my old tires were still under warranty (only 42000 miles on tires that were supposed to last 60000) and I wanted to get a note from the shop that about the blowout and that the tires needed to be replaced. I called the shop and they said there was nothing they could do after the fact. Based on the cost of the original tires, this will probably cost me more than $100. I feel they should ask how many miles are on the old tires when they replace them. I was traveling and feeling harried, and didnt think to check at the time. Other than this omission, they are a 5 star shop.

I always trust them to do an excellent job with my cars. If they have an accident and cause damage to a tire ( once) while balancing it the told us and replace the tire with a new one.

Disappointed with my service Sunday. I was quoted a price over the phone then told when I arrived that the tires I was quoted would not properly work for my vehicle. We negotiated another pair of tires for a price $50 more than I expected to pay. Then I asked instead of the tires being Bridgestones could they be Firestones for the same price. The woman said yes. When I got home I looked at the tires and saw they were the Bridgestones and not the Firestones. I appreciate they took my car and had it complete in an hour, but Im disappointed with what felt like bait-and-switch tactics.

Were part of a Motorsports Team that travels the country heavily, and needless to say frequent tire shops more than we should.To say this Birmingham Firestone went above and beyond is an understatement. They are almost literally life savers. Unparalleled customer service, Chris and Christina got our 10 ply trailer tires the day of and installed on our teams trailer while we were working and it saved us a whole day of travel. Cannot say enough good things about this place.

Well I bring my car in and I bring it in to have something worked on. Ok part isnt here so wait till the next day. But before I leave they tell me it will be done by 1 pm. Ok good I have to work at 4 so it works out. Well call around 11 to check they say the part just got there. So in 3 hrs ok so I wait till about 240 to come up there and I come and pay to see the car hasnt been worked ok. And its been 3 hrs. Its now almost 4 and Im late for work. Cuz they cant finish on time. If they were gonna do it at the end of the day call me and inform me dont not do it and have me wait here for more time cuz they cant finish. Just disappointed cuz Im missing work and my money. If u do come here make sure to be on there ass or they will take theyre time

Very friendly staff, and the service technician came out for our car sooner than the initial estimate. Just $20 to patch our tire, and it only took about a half hour. They had coffee in the waiting room, but theres a Shell station with a mini-mart just a few hundred feet away with lots of snack and beverage options.

They overbill you if youre not paying attention either in service you dont need or in charging for service performed..be hawkish when dealing with them..second opinion before repairs unless you dont mind overpaying.

I had a limited budget and a big used SUV project. They worked with me to get what I needed done ASAP, done.

I had to make a return visit because the mechanics didn’t fix my car the first time. Lady upfront was also kinda rude, she didn’t care
