This is the best wig store in Houston. I’m from Kemah and I drove 50 mins just for this store. They have many wigs to choose from with many styles and colors. The wig I bought is very low maintenance and easy to take care of. The owner is a very nice lady and so helpful and patient. If you’re looking for a wig for any reason you have to stop by this place first. 100 stars!

Super nice people that really helped my mom. Most affordable place we could find with medical quality wigs for sensitive skin. The one we loved most was 249 although there were less expensive ones there is a 15% off coupon online too

The owner is very nice, but hasn’t been there the last few times I’ve taken my mom to buy her wigs, so we get stuck with a super nasty employee. She is not helpful at all. They have a great selection, but the great service is what we like, so if great customer service is what you are after, look elsewhere!!!

Ive recently come out as a transgendered woman and have gone to several wig shops with no luck in finding quality hair at a reasonable price coupled with decent service. Yesterday my cousin took me to to wig mart and Angie helped me. Her service was amazing. Shes very compassionate and never even flinched at the idea of helping find a wig for someone who was presenting as a male at the time (I am just beginning my transition). Whatever your wig needs are, I recommend going to Wig World they have a wide variety of wigs and styles and colors to choose from. There really is something for everyone

Horrible horrible experience! I was watched the whole time Im in the store... racist! Then when I wanted to try on a wig, the lady thought that she was going to force me to let her put it on for me just because it was a lace front. Ironically, Im wearing a lace front while Im in the store. Therefore I already know how to put these on without damaging them. I walked out and left her empty handed. Will never return again. I give it a negative 5 Stars if I could. Racist racist people. African-American stay away. Do not give your money to this fool.

My daughter and I were treated horribly. When we first entered, we asked where the human hair wigs were. The store attendant said they were in the back by the wall. We didnt see them so we asked again. She then said, No, they are on the other side of the aisle. I thought you knew that. I said, No, you said in the back by the wall. The actual location was in the front middle of the store. She walked over and said, No. See. It says right here.. human, human, human. Thank you, yes, I can see that now. A minute later she began to mock us by putting her hands together like a book pretending to read. She then criticized us for reading labels. When her mocking didnt stop us from reading, she then complained that we didnt tuck the labels behind the mannequins. We had been putting things back as we found them. The final straw came when I slid a wig toward the edge of the shelf and took one finger to section off the front of the wig to see the lace front. She yelled, Dont touch it like that! So I completely stopped touching it. She told me to put it back. I said, No, you said to stop touching it. She then snatched the wig off the shelf shouting, These wigs are expensive. You will mess it up treating it like that and we cant sell the wig. She then began taking her hand and shuffling the hair around to exaggerate her point. Remember I had simply used one finger to part the hair not riffle through it. So I asked, How would you suggest someone verify the quality of the lace front if you cannot touch it? What is the proper way to touch the wig if not with one finger? She got silent and looked down. She refused to answer or to make eye contact. I told my daughter that we were not spending any money in this store and that we were leaving. When we left she was still stroking the wig head in silence. I left before I had to coin her with the hashtag, #WiggyWanda.

The options are limited for curly/natural options. No-return policy is not well-advertised, and the management does not budge on it. I would recommend looking for a bigger, better vendor for the prices offered.

The owner is rude and nasty. I heard her talk rudely to an elderly black lady who asked her to order a wig for her. The owner also ignored me and never offered to assist me. The place is stuffed packed of old dusty wigs! The wigs are cheap looking and are poor quality as well. Save your money and time. Don’t shop there!!!! They are racist!!!! My friend, Tina, asked me if I can write a review in English on behalf of her. She really wanted to write her shopping experience at Wig World. She said, I wanted to write a review for this wig shop for over a two months now! I typically do not take time to do such thing, but I just have to. I went in the store looking for a new look because I was tired of looking at my thin and almost bold hair. However, I was new to wigs and was very skeptical. Anyway, I went in looking for a long wig with bangs. Wow! They had awesome selections. I got the Beverly Johnson wig. They had many colors and various styles. The lady (I can’t remember her name…) was so helpful and nice. She really helped me try on different wigs and sincerely listened to me. I explained that I didn’t want a wig that looked “wiggy”. Boy, did they deliver! I walked out of there with a beautiful long hair wig with bangs (human hair) and the cost was very reasonable. I am very impressed. I get many compliments on my wig…alot of people think it is a sew-in. It looks that good. I’ve had it for over two weeks and it still looks amazing like the first day I purchased it. GREAT customer service and quality of hair! I will always go there and recommend others to do the same. As a matter of fact, my mother wants to go there when she comes to visit from MS. I stopped at this store on a whim. I happened to be on my way somewhere else with my husband, but when I saw the sign for Wig World, I screamed and told me husband to pull over. Hes very understanding.Upon entering, a pair of women asked what I was looking for, and I said that Id like to be blonde. They helped me find the right color for me, with a dark root.I see that some reviewers have complained about an Asian lady. The thing you have to understand is that Chinese people are typically more honest than we Americans. Meaning: theyre blunt. One of the women said that the wig I came to the store in didnt suit me. I happen to agree. But even if I didnt, SHES THE WIG EXPERT. Both women obviously knew their merchandise well, and know a thing or two about how to help their customers choose a flattering style. Im grateful for their help.Price. I did an internet search for the exact wig I got. Their price was within the range I found online. In fact, they were willing to barter and lowered the price for me.In short, go visit!

The worst Experience Ever. Over priced hair. The Asian lady. Extemely rude. Very racist and said my money once i took it out of my wallet was her money. Forced a wig on me and rushed me out of there. I visited this place last week. I overheard the store clerk talking very rude to this customer., in referene to the number of wigs that are allowed to try on. Its not so much as what she said, its the tone of how she spoke to the customer. I decided to walk out with the customer who was asulted by words of the store owner clerk. NNo going back there . We drove almost an hour fighting traffic to get there at 4:05, and the sign says open until 6pm. However, the old Asian lady there was so rude and was not willing to help at all. In fact, she decided to sweep her floor instead of helping us. Then, she basically kicked us out of her store by telling me to come back another day she will have what I was looking for, then started to pull all her window blinds down. I cant imagine how a cancer patient would have felt going through that.

I have been coming to this location since i was 16 years old. I agree with the previous reviews that Ms. Angie can be blunt, but when it comes to choosing a wig, i need bluntness. Lol. She is very helpful and very kind.She also has to deal with a lot of theft in her store so dont get ur feelings hurt if she follows u around. Understand that she is the owner and she has to take care of her own.She has very good quality wigs for a very reasonable price. And you dont have to go thru online hassle.Ms. KATHY was the previous owner and she helped me since i was 16 years old because i had alopecia areata. God bless these wonderful ladies.
