I can understand why BB Houston has only 5 star reviews. I have purchased two machines from them, the first in mid 2020 and the second today. Both times I found the staff was excellent! They listened to my opinions, asked about my preferences and guided me to quality equipment that was not in my horizon prior to stepping into the store. Kevin K is a superior advisor as he understands the technical strengths of the equipment and factually related them to my expressed needs. I bought quality equipment for what feels like a reasonable price and never felt pushed. Twice I have had an amazing experience. Oh, this store is 90 minutes from my home … and I probably pass 10 other stores to get here. It’s well worth the time and the effort!

First off I gotta just say this place is awesome and so are the people. I was told about this place by like 5 people who said they sold “old used gym equipment”. THATS NOT TRUE. Yes they have lightly used equipment on hand but you can get ANYTHING and EVERYTHING you need here in 1 shot! Kevin, the manager was so polite and awesome each time I visited. Truth is I didn’t know what I wanted or needed and he was there calling me and emailing me every step of the way. I got exactly what I wanted and it’s amazing. He builds you a custom package! When my Precore elliptical that I had for 15 years failed I called Busy Body Houston on the Katy Freeway on a Sunday.Frank Romero answered the phone and I explained what I wanted.Shortly he sent me two units to pick from plus a install and delivery price.I selected the one I liked and was able to pay for it over my smart phone.Frank told me on Monday he would call at 10:30 AM and set up a delivery date and time. He called right on time and we set up a Friday date and time. The crew arrived on time. The install crew had some issues with the new unit assembly. I contacted Frank and he had a new unit and install crew there on Monday.The crew arrived on time and this time assembly went perfect.I love my new unit. Very positive sales experience for my spin bike. Although the store was out of my first choice, Kevin showed me some great alternatives. My first 30 minutes on the bike were very good; iI’m looking forward to a lot more time on the bike.

I ordered a folding rack, bench, and bumper plates when no one had stock. Kevin helped me with the order and let me customize my package. He was really helpful even though there were some shipping delays. During covid I think that’s to be expected. I was really impressed with the customer service and am pumped to have an iron throne in my garage!

Kevin K. went above and beyond in helping me put together my personal gym. I explained what I was looking for but that we were building a new house which wouldn’t be ready for approx 6 months. He took my info and about 2 months later called me and said someone had just returned an almost brand new universal with a leg extender. He said it won’t last but he would save it for me to come look at. I bought it at first site which saved me around $1800. He then stored it for me. Then later he called about a manufacturer sale and he worked with me on that equipment so that the timing worked perfectly with the completion of our new home. Once assembled and set up I had some questions about a particular exercise and he quickly responded on not only what to do but how with self pics of 3 different ways to achieve the result. I stopped in on a whim to see what this store had to offer. I was surprised to see it has everything. Getting healthy has been on my to do list for years now, but I never made it a priority to get started. Long story short Kevin got me started on a budget friendly used elliptical with some dumbbells. He gave me the option to trade it in no money lost towards the new piece I really wanted within 90 days. Once I prove to myself I can stick to a workout regime I will be back to upgrade.

Initially used their chat feature to get answers to many of my questions before driving to Houston to actually try out a treadmill. They have so much equipment to test drive and Kevin was very knowledgeable about all of the features of each machine. Payton was very helpful when we went in for a new treadmill. He was very knowledgeable about the treadmills they had in the store. We originally got a Landice but werent completely happy with it. We were able to trade it in for a different treadmill hassle free. Well definitely bring our business back here when we get our next piece of equipment.
