After an initial problem, Griffin responded immediately and did a wonderful job correcting the problem. Anyone can have a problem, its how they handle it that makes a difference and Griffin handled it in a superb manner. I have no problem recommending them.

We use Griffin Fencing for extensive fencing around our double property. We had 2 gates installed and an automatic gate. We can honestly say we had the best and the most pleasant experience with them you could possibly ask for. The workmanship was amazing! From the initial estimate from Lee, the office staff, to the final process of erecting the fencing and the after care was excellent. I would highly recommend this company for all your fencing needs from small to large!

I have read all of the reviews and I am surprised that no one had my problem. The fence was installed in 2 days, which was acceptable. The wait to have it done was explained to us, so that was OK. The quality of the fence is OK. However, when the fence was finished, the workmen did not clean up very well, thus only 4 stars. My husband had to clean up in the back yard and our driveway was covered in sawdust, which we had to hose off. It could not be blown away. Tracking sawdust into the house was not an option.

The painting of our 70ft wrought iron fence project began in August 2019 and was finally completed in June 2020. They didn’t tell us to move our cars and our white car now has black paint all over it. No one will call us back or come look at what they did. This was a nightmare from start to finish. Look elsewhere.

The fence looks great. The company did everything they said they would do. The price was right in the ball park of the other estimates we had. I definitely would recommend Griffin Fence. Ask for Lee to give you an estimate. He measured the area, looked carefully at some areas that could be a problem, and gave us a written estimate on the spot. Sure, you might find people who will do the job for less, but will they do it right? I doubt it and have videos that reveal both one done poorly and one done expertly. Had an emergency with my gate and Griffin Fence connected me with their technical staff to see if we could find a solution. we were unable to solve the issue so they send a tech in the pouring rain who was able to get my gate in working order again. My experience started out promising enough: I contacted Griffin fence via their website and soon received a call back from a sales associate. We scheduled an appointment in one weeks time.The day of the appointment arrives. Thirty minutes before our appointment time I receive a call stating that theyll be about 30 minutes late and will call me when theyre on their way. I gave it an hour after our scheduled appointment time - never heard from the guy. I canceled the appointment.What a waste of time.

Pros: Price, final product (so far, in place for 2 weeks), hard working field employeeCons: Understaffed, over agreed time, poor communication, below average customer service response.Griffin Fences end product was a good fence at a competitive price; however, the communication and execution left much to be desired on this particular project. Timeliness was particularly important since we were leaving the next day and we had agreed beforehand that this was to be a 1 day project. The job started about an hour late, which is not a big deal, but was woefully understaffed with only 1 guy doing all the work. Additionally, the communication to the employee that came to build the fence was not good as he was prepared to tear down and replace the incorrect fence (corrected him before we got started). The guy who came was a very hard worker, sticking with it all day, but it was simply too much for 1 person to get done in 1 day and was a choice that Griffin should approach differently. With the end of the day approaching, the employee left without communicating the follow-up plan and without cleaning up his workspace leaving us unsure of what was next. We hosted several people that evening along with multiple dogs (and now no fence) so the fence ended up being a problem that could have been avoided had the project had at least 1 more employee.After calling Griffin the following day, more folks were sent to finish the fence. I followed up with my main contact at Griffin when we returned to town to explain why we were unsatisfied. Ultimately, he was friendly but I dont think he understood why Griffin Fence fell short on this one and I would choose someone else for my next project.

What a good experience for a change. I was treated with respect and liked the knowledgeable staff. Joey did our estimate, took me through the process, and followed up on us later. Griffin went the extra mile to make sure I was satisfied with my fencing, did a good job, and finished the project on time.

This review is based on communications (or customer service), not the quality of work. We have used them in the past and never had a problem. The level of quality from those jobs was as good as any other reputable company, which means customer service is the only difference to base your decision on.The most recent response from one of their salesman was unprofessional, and giving them the benefit of the doubt cost us an extra week of lost time. I explained that we needed a specific time frame to coordinate with tenants and keep the owners of the property in the loop. After a week of following up to get an answer to begin with, I was told it’s turned in but we’re unfortunately backed up quite a bit due to a heavy amount of sales the past couple of months. We’ll get to it as soon as we possibly can. Going on two weeks without any idea, I asked for a more specific time frame since that response was extremely vague, and mentioned we might have to use a different company if they were really that far out from doing the job. The salesman I was in contact with knew we were working with insurance adjusters on a building fire (which took time to complete), and we had additional work to complete before we could even think of scheduling the fence job. When we were finally able to try to schedule this, the salesman very unprofessionally responded you couldve made a decision sooner, youve had the proposals for a long time. If you want to look for a different company go ahead but most credible companies are going to be just as busy. I can assure you based on the other bids we had to get to meet the insurance requirements, this salesman makes lots of assumptions. Not only were we incapable of scheduling this job sooner, but all the other companies we got bids from gave time frames as soon as I requested that information. Each of them responded within a few days at most, not over a week. I would put one star from how rude this guy came off, but I would like to be fair in this review considering this was just one representative and the work they do has been comparable to other companies.

We had to replace the wrought iron fence in our backyard. They were patient with all of my questions and gave me different options. The work was completed when they said it would be and it looks great!

I called for fence companies in Houston for estimates to replace the wood fence we have now with a new iron fence with a driveway gate. Griffin fence had the best price buy $340 and they were actually referred to me by my cousin who use them for the iron fence around their swimming pool. Joey and Juan both made the process very easy. The fence looks great the cost of the fence was the cheapest. I recommend Griffin fence for sure.

Was looking forward to having them quote us for a replacement fence for the yard because of all the excellent reviews. Unfortunately I can’t rate their workmanship as they were a no-call, no-show for the scheduled time to look at our property. My wife rearranged her schedule to make sure she was here to meet them. After I called and left a message asking for a possible reschedule, they did offer to come out the next day. Of course we can’t make that work on that short notice and I don’t want to burn vacation time hoping they show up again. They do not offer weekend or later in the day appointments so we have decided to pass. I wish them luck and I am now on the hunt for another contractor.

The quality of workers here is top notch, quite a few of the guys have been here for 20 plus years and their craftsmanship is like no other. Without the crews we are nothing and Im happy to have everyone one of them on our team. Our operations manager Angel Torres has been with the company for 25 years and hes outstanding to work with, if theres ever anything to complicated hes the one everyone goes too for assistance. The front office personnel is so nice and helpful. In my honest opinion you wont find a better company to work with for your next fence or gate project.

Griffin installed a 7-ft cedar fence to replace an old fence along one side of our back yard in 2017. They had to include 3 large oak trees which were in the fence line. They also installed some wrought iron fencing and a wrought iron gate with operator across our driveway. The product has excellent quality, the construction was done neatly and timely, and the sales representative, David Lisner, did an excellent job communicating with us and handling our project with professionalism. Not sure about their work because I cant get anyone out here to even look at the repairs that I need done to my fence. I have called 3 times to ask if someone could come out and give me an estimate. Finally on the 3rd call someone is scheduled to come out. He said he didnt even know that I had been calling. Very poor communication if you ask me. Sounds like they dont need or want the work.

Super pleased with our new fence. After going though many companies i found Giffin Fence, Lee was there every step to answer questions and help when i changed my mind. The guys that did the work where amazing, professional and quick only took 3 days when others had said would take over a week of our yard. They tore down my old rotten fence in one day and began installing immediately working until late. Communications from Griffin Fence were clear, their pricing was reasonable, they showed up when they said they would, and they did excellent work replacing a 50-foot section of fence. Everyone I dealt with was courteous.

Horrible customer service. I called Griffin fence to get a quote and they said someone would call me. I received a call from David while I was at work n he called me 10plus time I wish he had a basic understanding just to call once and leave a message.Once I called him back after work and explained him someone from grffin had already come and taken measurement and they don’t work there any more so he agreed I could just send him measurements for the fence n he would give me the price by next day.I provided him with all the info he needed and he kept texting me saying I wouldn’t like the price he will give me. And NOW he is TOOO busy for a week and won’t be giving me prices.I have no idea why he reacted from being helpful to being rude within just a hour.Just stay away from this place. I would rather go to a different company where at least you get treated with respect.

We have been getting estimates to have an iron fence built on our acre and a half lot in North Houston.we had one quote that was outrageously high and the other two were within $200 of each other so the cost didnt end up being the only thing we looked at. We ended up going through both of two companies reviews and it still was a tough decision, but one review stuck out to me so I chose Griffen Fence Company to build for us. They had all of our underground construction marked for us, and started construction about a week later. Angel and Nick meet with us in the morning on the day they started and did another walk through and made sure we were all on the same page. The guys worked for two full days installing the fence posts and another two days welding the iron fence panels. The electric gate was the last thing that they installed. The keyboard was the only thing that they had a problem with, but after going back to their shop and I guess switching out the part they got it up and running. I have never delt with a company that made things run as smooth as Griffin did. Angel, Nick, and Joe were wonderful to work with. Amazing work guys!

I hired Griffin Fence Co to come out and install black chain link fence. They were a little higher on their price but they were very fast on getting back to me with a quote. They ordered the supplies and had the utility Co. come out and mark where the lines were. I was told the job would be completed before spring break (4 weeks ago). I have called several times with no call back. finally i get a call friday with an apology and a firm we will be out first thing Monday to do the job. Well its Monday and they called and cancelled. No thank you! we will take our business elsewhere.
