I was just told they dont sell to general contractors. I wonder why the girl would lie to me. 🤔

Horrible customer service. Im a newly formed business this year getting into fencing. I went in to try and obtain a quote for a fence I have to give an estimate on. We are doing more work on this project and the property owner wants an estimate for fencing from us too. 1st I was told they dont sell retail. Then when i explained what I do they still refused to offer up any service. I was told to make a list which i did and handed to the people in the office. Who btw never even stood up out of their seat to assist a potential new customer. I left them a list of some of the main materials I needed with a phone number and email and never received a call or email with the quote. On the other hand I contacted a competitor of theirs and had a quote within 30 minutes.I worked in wholesale distribution for 22yrs and trained employees in customer service and how to qualify and identify a potential new customer. I will tell you these people who are at the front line at Jaimeson on Aldine Westfield is what I trained people NOT to do for years. New customers is how you grow business and especially when they are taking on a new service offering with your help because you teach them to do it your way. Im just making an observation as to the level of training these frontline employees had.
