They have repaired/cleaned two instruments for my sons and they did a great job at a good price. The first was a trombone and I found out it was worth alot the seco n d was a trumpet that isnt worth much. But it is a top of the line beginners horn and just fine for my 6th grader in band.They have a great selection of new instruments and accessories. I hope to visit again soon.

Came in today with my husband and son for my sons band class instrument, that we needed to rent for him to practice on. Lady that helped us was super friendly and professional. I definitely would return again. Great service is very hard to come by nowadays. We left a happy customers!

We brought in an alto saxophone that had a couple of non-working keys and Bill the repairman was able to find the problem, fix it, and show us how we could remedy the situation if it occurs in the future. I leased a saxophone for my son. He wasnt into it so returned it after the school year. It was easy and everything went well. They were quick to help me and the clerk had tons of personality.

Been going to this location for many years and we are about to pay off my daughters viola after renting for over 6 years and changing size violas. She was always a small girl so she needed a very small viola which they had and as she grew we changed sizes easily. If anything broke on the instrument it was handled right away or a replacement was given. Everything was covered by the rental insurance via the renting agreement. The only thing I had to replace from time to time was the strings. It is an awesome place to find a quality instrument and they have a huge selection and very knowledgeable staff. Would highly recommend this location!

Jenny was very helpful after a communication error with one of the staff. I enjoy this place. Repairs to my daughters clarinet were explained thoroughly by the guy in the back. He was helpful as well. The repairs are reasonably priced.

Went to sell my violin unfortunately they do not buy stringed instruments. Even though I wasnt able to sell it the employees were knowledgeable and kind. They have many brass instruments here and the cellos where so pretty.

I seldom go to this place but every time I do, the people working there have been really awesome. They have great customer service. They move quickly and very helpful.

I live in The Woodlands and I will drive to 1960 (Cypress Creek Pkwy) rain or shine to have my childs flutes repaired at H & H. I have read the negative reviews and are in shock. I was patient because sometimes people cannot see and issue until they have taken the instrument apart. Music & Arts at Portofino Center quoted me a price on voicemail and would NOT stand behind it. They insinuated that I was mistaken when I repeated the price. I had to play the voicemail and they still would not stand behind the quote. I left and never went back. David at H & H has repaired two of my childs instruments for four years . He has made minor repairs in a few days but after years of repairing minor problems, the two flutes needed complete overhauls. Due to unforeseen issues, he had them longer than we anticipated but he was very accommodating. David called and let me know that he would take the instruments home for Christmas to make sure he had them finished. We picked them up 12/26/17. He had my child play in store so that he could make adjustments according to her playing style. He was kind and his work is professional. The price was reasonable and we were very thankful that he went the extra mile for us.

Was charged 2x their online price for the same ligature when I purchased in the store today. I didnt know until I got home they basically charged me for 2, and wouldnt have bought it if the kid didnt need it for school tomorrow. Not only that, but they tried to charge me $120 for a single mouthpiece and hit me up for God only knows how much in repairs. Check your pricing if you have to buy here.

Not necessarily for this particular store, but the company in general... If I could give negative stars, I would. They came to my daughters school and I ordered her flute from them. I paid the initial payment in cash bc I did not have my card with me to put on the contract. THEY NEVER DELIVERED THE INSTRUMENT! Since they never delivered, I went to a different company, but H&H has been billing me saying that I owe them for an instrument I never received. Anytime I try to call or email (which has been numerous times), I leave messages and never get a returned call or email. THEY HAVE NOW SENT MY ACCOUNT TO A COLLECTIONS AGENCY! FOR AN INSTRUMENT WE NEVER RECEIVED!!! If they do not resolve the issue and zero out my account, I will be hiring a lawyer and taking them to small claims court. This has been going on for a year now and Im tired of it!

Im a professional saxophonist, and Ive got to say how pleasant it is working with David S. in the repair shop here. Fantastic guy, terrific tech; he also goes beyond the norm to give assistance. Quick story: I was at a big saxophone conference and discovered that my horn needed a significant tweak right before my big performance, so I texted David and he was willing to help me out even though it meant staying through his lunch hour. Great service and excellent quality, Id highly recommend him to anyone.

H&H knows their stuff. Go one on Cypress Creek Pkwy. Say Hi to Lauren and all in repair. Theyve fixed our flutes and trombones and have always done amazing work. I cant believe some of the repairs theyve made. They are the go to instrument Drs.

H&H Music is the most well known supplier of instruments in the Houston area and have been around a long time. I bought my trombone from them in middle and high school. Now I have kids in middle school and two of them have instruments from them as well. They have a huge variety of instruments available and options based on your needs.

Bought my first french horn here in the 60s. glad to see this place is still around. a great music store

Have been using H&H since the 1980s. But, recently took my sons clarinet in for repair. Did not get a call for a quote - so had to call in myself. Then, told itd take a week. I called three different times to check on service. I was told itd be ready by Thursday night. But, when I went in Friday morning to pick it up (after driving all the way across town to get there), the repair guy was not in and my clarinet had not been touched all week. I took it home with me and will try Flemings in the Heights - who have a great reputation for service. Very disappointed, H&H!

Dont waste your time here. On October the 4th, 2018 we can here, looking for a monthpice, and it was 70% more than any other places. IF I could give it no stars I would, but because there was a nice person working there that day. I will give them a star for being so very helpful.

Difficult to park, and once parked at the rear of the store, I felt somewhat unsafe. Once in the store, no one noticed that I was there for a few minutes. Product selection was limited, and price tags on products only showed monthly payments and not the buy it now price. Lots of empty floor space in a dingy building. I took my business elsewhere.

Very rude young lady... second time dealing with her. Not professional and she was rude to her own staff.. the other staff gentlemen where nice and helpful.

The staff is very rude and not helpful at all. They are overpriced and their selection is lacking. Their used instruments are not great but I guess you get what you pay for. There are better stores to go to who are way better and friendlier and closer to Conroe/Willis/Montgomery. Get your instruments somewhere else.

Worst service. Lacks communication with customer after purchase. The quality of instruments are subpar. I rented a violin to find out it was not worth what they were charging me. I was unable to return it on a specific day due to a medical emergency and they had some guy call my entire family. Then when I did return it, they did not even inform the guy. Apparently it is my responsibility to let him know. But he works for them. Worst company. There are much better music instrument rentals available in the area. Save yourself a headache and go somewhere else. Not too mention, the people who work their are not knowledgeable about most instruments. They BS you to think its a great deal. They dont even know how to play most of them. Lesson learned and money wasted. I should have listened to the music teacher from school. Last point, their string repairman is not an employee. He comes in whenever he wants so good luck getting an string instrument serviced.

The 2 people at the desk had no answers about tenor saxophone questions and didnt attempt to get any. The mouthpiece, reeds, and ligature we bought were double the price of what they should have been (didnt know until we went to another music store). The process they quoted on used tenors for sale were again double what everyone else quoted. We wont be back.

Overpriced and if you ask for your product delivered it might take 2-4 weeks more than the original date
