In Bursa, on a mountain near the city of Bursa, little bit higher than 2500 m above sea level and up the mountain there is a very old tree called the İnkaya Historical Tree (İnkaya Tarihi Çınar Ağacı). The tree is more than 600 years old and 37 m tall. It is very large and the branches stretched out really far and some had to be supported by metal bars. There is a cafeteria beside the tree that serves breakfast, tea and coffee. There are also som gift shops near by. If you come by a taxi, try to make the driver come back to pick you after a certain time because it is a little bit difficult to find a taxi there.
Perfect place. As a suggestion, bring an empty bottle with you, and taste the water. You will love it.
It was an awesome experience. The place is calm and beautiful. They preserved this oldest tree pretty well.
On our way out of Bursa on our last morning, we drove up into Uludağ, a mountain near Bursa that is a bit more than 8,000 feet above sea level. Up the mountain is a very old tree called the İnkaya Historical Tree (İnkaya Tarihi Çınar Ağacı). The tree is over 600 years old, 37 m tall, 53 m crown diameter, and has a 10 m circumference. It is massive! The branches stretched out really far and some had to be supported by metal bars.
Amazing tree, no picture can gives the real view of it, everyone has to see it.
600 years tree. Very big with lonnggg brancheeess. Must visit place
Not that impressive 😁.Good place to visit, but if you dont have any thing else to do.You can buy good fruits from around the tree.I didnt like that there are coffeehouses under the tree.Around it is OK, but under it is not very nice for me.
Went there on my way to Uludağ, unfortunately the route was closed and had to go back to the city and up a different route, the tree itself is worth seeing and there are a few cafes around it. recommended for breakfast.
All around Bursa is full of Monument Trees that defy centuries. The best known of these trees is the İnkaya (Grand) Plane tree, which is over 600 years old, in İnkaya Village, which is 4 km away from Çekirge neighbourhood and on the Uludağ road. Physically it is Turkeys largest tree. Diameter of the tree 3 meters, 10 meters in circumference, height is 37 meters. It has 13 main branches, thickness of the each of them is lika a tree trunk.
Great place to visit and good gift shops at the same location, few free parking slots availablePlenty Paid parking
This place is really nice to visitNot something astounding or wowingBut really niceAlthough the restaurant around it doesnt provide a manu and the breakfast is expensive since they tell you only breakfast but nothing specific
A good spot if youre into this kind of stuff, there is an area for drinks and eating for fruits. Also restaurants where you can pick up your meat and they cook it for you. The whole thing wasnt worth the drive for me.
It’s a huge tree, and one of the oldest trees in Turkey, and display the trunk which ranges from two to three meters, and have big branches, the width of each branch is like a full tree. The age of this great tree, as recorded is 600 years, which is why it has become a symbol of popular symbols of the city, and tourists are eager to see it. There is under the tree a nice cafe with great views of the city, and there is a restaurant serving various types of delicious grilled food
Its amazing how big the tree is. Very nice seating arrangement around it by the restaurant.
Realy realy fantastic wow I like it very much this is the fourth times I was there I love it GOD bless you
Wonderful place wish we had more time there to drink something
Very nice place and have an extraordinary fruits and halawa with ice cream ....not to be missed
Very beautiful place, it has a coffee shop under the historical tree, where you can enjoy the Turkish coffee and Turkish delight
Mysterious beautiful Tree, must see! We loved this place. It’s located in a hilly area that is beautiful in Bursa.
Its a nice place with service. You can get something to drink and even icream there. There are not enough car parking slots though.
Good place to chill with family and friends,, the people there so nice and happy ! They make you feel comfortable, there is nice Coffeshop there which you can spend couple hours there, they serve a fresh fruits .You can have very nice and memorable pictures there because of the view and the tree that is very old there, if I am not mistaken the age of that tree is 600 plus and it’s huge !
👍🏽Only thing to enjoy is the tree👎expect to pay for parking👎too crowded👎food and drink caters are under too much of pressure of the crowd, you can’t enjoy a good taste to tea (real way of turkish tea) and it always come pre-boiled👎less to seeAdvice: the place good for 10 minutes to enjoy the great tree, then just leave ASAP
A nice place on the mountain of Uldagh where the oldest tree in Turkey exists
One of the most beautiful things I have seen in my life. God is great and his wonders are all around us ❤

Its a good place to stay for few minutes while you are going to bursa. This tree is approximately 600 years old and shows that how turkish people love their memories and history. They put support under big branches of this tree. I really like this type of care of such valuable tree.
Worth visiting. You need to be patient to take good pics: crowded place
Not only great tree, but they have great Cafe and services under it. Running natural water from the mountains and refreshing breeze.
Beautiful place to visitThe restaurant which is situated under the tree and around it is big but is very peace full and they serve a very traditional Turkish breakfast.Well worth a visit with outstanding views of bursa city.

Beautiful place just 15-20 min away from the bustling city of Bursa. Come here in the morning and enjoy an early breakfast with a warm cup of tea. Some little shops around the site offer souvenirs and local handicrafts. A must-visit!

Its so amazing 610 years old tree 🌳until is green
Nice place for a short stop on the way
Such amazing place to visit in Turkey .. time will pass without feeling
Very old tree with extensive branches. Same type of tree is also present in A and M university Texas USA but the historical background of this tree is that it was labeled as it will like muslim empire in the future which will have extensive roots in the whole world.....as they have to do nothing by themselves to prove but past will take them to future because it was a prophecy 😏
The long-standing perennial tree is one of the most famous symbols in the city of Bursa, it has been there for almost 610 years as it is written on it. It is a very huge tree that stretches its branches, bringing each of them to the size of a tree! The trunk extends between two to three meters!
The biggest and oldest tree from 630 years ago
The cafés and restaurants with the beautiful mountains view is worth to visit
Wonderful historical place but its car way is very steep and dangerous be careful about that. Also very crowded.
It is fantastic and charming specially in evening

Peaceful place with great frish fruits and turkish tea. The weather is great and you can spend an hour for rest.
An amazing place to visit. The food was so fresh and delicious and definitely plentiful-it just kept coming. The ancient tree is mind blowing, it is so big and old, and I love how they have taken care of it with supports along the branches as it has grown. The branches are even incorporated into the restaurant. The atmosphere is inviting and lively as well. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Definately worth the visit.
It was wonderful place you can find park..because of Covid-19 and the lockdown you cant find dine restaurants
600 years old tree. Nice place to take Turkish coffee
Well maintained area with stalls for shopping nearby, restaurants and fresh fruits are also available. Scenic place, sitting are for families, fresh water supply from glaciers. The tree itself is very large, and has stands to support its thick branches that spread out over a very large area.
