Found this location after a bad experience with another Shipley. Havent had warm donuts from this location yet seem like they only give them out with big orders. But the donuts are still fresh and very good.

I was meeting someone at Shipleys. Im on a motorcycle, its very hot, so Im thinking I could get there early and have a couple of really good donuts and a cold beverage. I get there early to find out its take out only. Im not about to eat anything in this heat. So, I sit outside in the heat for 45 minutes waiting on my friends to head to a funeral. I realize its not completely their fault, but being a senior with cancer kind of kills my longtime fondness of Shipleys, not to mention any plans for the evening after getting overheated. Probably wont go to another one anytime soon.

Worst customer service ever!!! Been coming here every Saturday for years. But Im fed up with an extremely large woman with very poor attitude. Theres no guess who you will know if you ever go, but that was my last visit ever to this place.

More expensive than the one on 1960 and Aldine Westfield. $10.00 more for the exact same items. 🤷🏽‍♀️

This is a small 🍩 shops tucked in the Humble Plaza shopping center. Its easy to miss. Hooray for Google Maps!The service was friendly. I ordered a butterfly roll. It was okay but could have been better.

Love going to this Shipleys because they always have hot glazed donuts...like the Shipleys on MLK Blvd.

This is the second time we have visited and there was only one employee working. The line was long. Obvisiously, she needed help. Once I got home, things were missing that I ordered and paid for. The donuts tasted stale . I tried calling them but no one answers. Im not sure if new owners or what the deal is. I just know its not as good as it use to be.

Another disappointment. Only second visit to a Shipleys, left first one without a purchase. Was hoping this one would have a better selection of cake donuts, no such luck. Left without a purchase. Two strikes, not giving a third.

The customer service was ok. The cashier looked it had been a while since the last customer had come in and the place itself seemed very lonely and without any other customers. The donuts I purchased were delicious though. Definitely seems like a place to stop in a hurry to grab a quick donut.

The most nasty Shipleys I have ever had. Just don’t go here. They only have hot Glaze when they run out the old ones. 🤢

I have been coming to this Shipleys for 19 years, mark my words, since I moved here in July of 2000, I have never received any food that was cold or room temperature. Whoever claims that they have received food cold or room temp. is falsifying a review, the staff had changed throughout the years but the quality has not. Thank you for your service! Also, whoever claims that an inspector needs to be sent, should get an inspector sent to where ever they work because their work ethic must be horrible........

Got some kolaches and donuts, service was quick and the food was good. Would come back!

In a pinch theyre great when the kiddos want speciality donuts after 11 a.m. - 12 p.m. and the other donut shops are already closed. But there are quite a few places in town id rather go to first if its early enough and theyre still open. Not that its bad just not as good as some of the local mom and pop shops.

My favorite place to get fresh blueberry donut

I come here very often and they have never gave me at least a warm breakfast. I infrom them about this all them time but they dont seem to care just want your money. The food is ALWAYS cold, not even room temperature. This leads me to believe they are serving food from past. Even my clients that go there says the same. How is your food cold early in the morning????????? Please send inspector.

I have gone to this location for the last time....not once have I ever been greeted upon entering even if no one else is in the store....the employees frown and seldom converse with you! And if you order only a couple of donuts, they give you a big sign and huff around like you have put them out. Very bad attitudes all around!

Fresh and Hot food

Wasnt my favorite Shipleys but its very convenient when heading to the International Airport known as Bush Intl. I do have to say the staff was somewhat warm. The lady maybe should smile a little bit more but they was nice enough to when they made a mistake, they helped us resolve the problem fairly quickly. The donuts were the typical Shipley donuts, but I wish they were more fresh for us coming that early in the morning

Sign says open til 6pm showed up at 5:40pm...Doors are locked and nobody answers the phone now. I called 15mns before I showed up and they said they close at 6pm too. My company comes here in the morning but they just lost our business. We were going to be working late so I came to buy all my employees kolaches. Thats why I am extra irritated.

The sign says they close at 6 pm, they do not. I got there at 5:45 pm and the door was locked and no one in sight.

They should really change the info on Google... I drove far because online it said they close at 6 and its only 330...

The people at this place are so unconserned about the customer at times, Ive come here twice and both times I was disappointed in the service. I visited this place about a month ago and I asked for chocolate glazed and was told they werent making any today.

Went there at 2:30 and the door says they close at 3:00 p.m yet the door was closed I was trying to get in and the people working there were just looking at me like I was stupid yet the sign says 3:00 p.m. I tried to call and no answer so very upset with my visit here never going back to this location!
