Absolutely great mechanics and great customer service. Huntersville Auto Tech worked on my car for years and I only recently stopped going there because I no longer live in the area. Now that I’m having to rely on other mechanics in my area, I appreciate even more the service, quotes, and professionalism that I received from Huntersville Auto Tech.

No need to take your car anywhere else! The team is knowledgeable, friendly, professional but make you feel like family when you go there. As a woman and a single parent - I have heard it all and have been taken advantage of by service shops too many times to count. The team is honest and speaks to you with respect. I was going through a very tough time and was facing multiple repairs. Rob and team welcomed me to the shop, calmed me down -- and my car is running like new. I cant thank them enough!!! Brought my car in this morning and when I went to pick it up I saw the receptionist and the mechanic watching youtube tutorial videos and reading how-to articles about car repair. They weren’t even trying to hide it, they had the office door wide open. That speaks for itself.

Bobby and his staff are always welcoming and easy to work with. The owner Bobby is one of the nicest guys you will meet, and he is always fair on price and will not do unnecessary repairs. I trust them with all my car repairs.

Be aware of these scammers!! I called this place and got estimate for power steering, coolant and break fluid flush and a guy told me around 160 to 180$. I dropped off my car and was told that theres no power steering fluid (which is wrong because I called the dealership). When I went to pick it up the lady told me its total 274$ for coolant and break fluid flush. I called Ford dealership and they said for coolant and break fluid itll cost 264$. These people just lost a client who was going to get more work done.

Terrible customer service. Terrible communication. Brought my car in first thing in the morning for a smelling issue coming from my engine and received not a single status update on my car the entire day. I ended up calling 10 minutes before the shop closed and asked their representative the status update on my car, told me she was going to have to call me back and never did. I called the next morning asking why I wasnt contacted at all throughout the entire day and their representative had the gall to then posit right there in that moment that I was being demanding for the attention of my vehical. She then continued to throw a temper tantrum after I rejected her beliefs about my intent and reiterated my first comment we had from the call which is independent on whether or not someone was unfair and pushy. I then found out that they had performed work on my vehical with no consent. In the beginning of all this I brought my vehical in for trouble shooting and if work needs to be done then yes I want it but only if consent is had by the owner which is how all auto body shops operate except this one apparently. Disgusting.

I was stuck on the side of the road as I was trying to move to my new home on the move day! I was so bummed. I was with a friend and we were waiting for AAA when a guy stop and asks what the problem was. He gave us a card and told us his name and that he was off for the day but to take the car to the shop he worked at Huntersville Auto Tech. He said Rob will treat you right. I was super stress because I was low on funds due to moving. I have a 2005 Jaguar that is expensive to fix, so needless to say I was scared. Rob was so kind and honest. He showed me exactly what he was ordering and how much it would be. He actually taught me what not to accept from mechanics so I dont get scammed and even did some work without charging me. I was shocked. I have since only used him as my mechanic. I recently decided I needed another car after he advised me that if I fix the problems I had with my Jag it would be a bad investment for me at this time. He said bring me the cars to test for you and I will analyze them for you, free of charge. I brought him 3 cars in the next 2 weeks and each time he went over them hood to trunk, checking every thing and putting it up on the lift as well. Checked the engine and every other part. he save me from buying the wrong car, and is even helping the person that bought my jaguar to fix it for him. Huntersville Auto Tech is the real deal. If you want to save money and get work done honestly and quickly, this is the place to come to. it doesnt look all shiny and brand new, but what a gem!! Thanks Rob!

Dont take your vehicle anywhere else.Long story short, I was quoted $400 to replace power steering return hose at another place. I called auto tech and they told me $150 for the same service.however, once they took a look at it they realized it was only a faulty cap. They fixed it free of charge. Its an honest shop and I couldnt recommend them any higher.

Great place to go to get your car worked on.. Gives you the best options and will not try to take advantage of you ... Give you Honest opinion and does great work!!!!

The best decision Ive ever made was my stop at Auto Tech today. I took my car to my regular mechanic--or should I say my ex mechanic? I was quoted $150 to replace a problem lug stem that just spun when attempting to remove the nut. Auto Tech did the work for a fraction of the cost. By the way, beware of WalMart working on your tires. It was one of their poorly trained guys that over tightened the nut and broke the stem in the first place.

Happy Veterens Day!☺ Been going there for 2 years now. I have 2 older cars. When my water pump went out in my Buick I drove it to a local Tuffys. They wanted $900.00! I may be a single women but i am no idiot! Drove it to Huntersville Auto Tech, which I should have done in the first place, and they replaced for less than $300.00! For all you ladys and everyone else, dont get ripped off! Go see Rob and his crew. Tamir will make sure you are taken care of! They may not have the best waiting area and its first come first serve so you may have to leave the car but who cares when you know you are being trustfully taken care of! Its like having your own small town mechanic, not a big franchise where all they care about is you money!

Paid over $600 to have my overheating issues repaired. Got my car back it was still overheating. Figured Id take it back to them because they supposedly guarantee their work, but of course this time it was the thermostat and they wanted to charge me another $300 to repair that. By now im pissed send a tow truck to recover my vehicle and take it to my preferred mechanic. Turns out the overheating was do to a bad radiator cap!!Take your car elsewhere, this place is a joke!!Supposedly 40 plus years of experience he claims to have but this place is awful!!!$80 hour labor rate!! I get pissed just thinking about it!! Paid these people $600 to make some repairs that wasnt need, all that was needed was a damn radiator cap! Beware!!

Ok so this place actually deserves less than one star and here is why. I Brought my vehicle into Huntersville Auto Tech at 9am on 4-10-2018 for suspected issues I had with the engine. My car was at this auto body shop for all most 8 hours without a call to myself in letting me know the prognosis. I had to call them 30 minutes before they closed for the information. At that moment I also asked for an estimate and they said that they would have to call me back but never did. I never received a call or an estimate and my car is at their auto body shop with no time table. This is unacceptable. A call must always be made to the owner of the vehicle regardless of the situation and this never transpired.

Absoulety is a scam mechanic! I needed to replaced my starter so I went there with my own brand new parts, he said $85+tax and same day pick up for sure .so I left the vehicle there for a couple hours then they called right before they close and told me that The bolt was stripped and they would use a special tools that would be $175+tax and it would be ready next morning .so I said OK because I had no other option they were already on the vehicle .Then I called again and again next day, never got an exact answer then I went there with my friend to see whats going on and I seen 3 guys around my vehicle trying to find out that why the vehicle has no crank at all .They were panicked when they see us, tried to explained that they havent done anything wrong and he was a mechanic for years all that things.i said OK I dont blame you.then he said the brand new starter I was just bought was not good 😅😅.I said OK I exchange it .they said it will take 30 min to take it off .I said OK I be back.when I come back they were still on the vehicle and whatever they did wrong that they found out and it was cracking but the batteries (i have a 2016 dodge 3500 with 2 batteries) was gone .because they kept tried cranking.And they finally fixed but killed my batteries which costed me $450.00 and he charged me $276.00 instead of $175.00 and I had brand new bulbs in the car which costs $42.00 .when I told them to change it, he said $40.00 each side then I said dont do it, just leave it in the car, I will do it by myself .and it was gone, I asked them where it is he said he hasnt seen bulbs at all.OMG completely disaster DO NOT GO THERE !!!!!DONT GO THERE!DONT GO THERE!DONT GO THERE!DONT GO THERE!DONT GO THERE!

Rob is an excellent mechanic with a stellar set of ethics. I have never gotten a bad deal there.
