Ive used this Public Storage location for years, and its always been good. But with the recent upgrades and new people running the place, its fantastic! The place looks great. John the new manager is always friendly and very helpful, the prices are competitive, and I imagine that well be here for many more years to come!

John the property manager is great! He was efficient, knowledgeable and very helpful. He has done a great job adding many new layers of security to the facility and keeps it extremely clean and well taken care of. I feel confident storing my belongings here and trust they will be safe with John there.

I have never had to rent a storage u it before, but contacting this property and working with John, made it so easy!!! The property is super clean and nice. Very quiet and I love the fact that someone is on the property 24 hours a day. My son and I went in today and were showed 2 different sizes since I wasn’t too sure what I needed. He showed me both and explained everything to a tee with no hidden fees or non sense. I appreciated the honesty and help! Highly recommend this storage unit for anyone looking for a short stay or long term. You are in good hands with John!

Facility is clean. John is friendly, professional, and extremely helpful. Key pads were recently installed at the elevators for extra security. Highly recommend!

The property manager, John, was really helpful. I initially had in mind on renting a 5x5 because its the cheapest. However, they didnt have anymore 5x5 units so John was able to upgrade me to a 10x5 for the same price. Best part is it is ground level so I didnt have to carry my things upstairs. Check in process was fast. We were in and out of the office within twenty minutes. Theyre newly renovated as well so the facility looks very up to date.

This is the cleanest most respected storage facility I have ever come across. It is obviously due to its on-site manager John. John is always there to provide a helping hand and insight, far and above an average site. It is very welcoming and he is very helpful in making you feel comfortable while and during renting a space from this location. Thank you Public Storage for this location and your manager a very positive experience.

The manager of a public storage on Bolsa av. Seems to know what it takes to make you feel like your #1 when you enter this property. He is professional, caring and friendly, and he makes you feel comfortable when your leaving the property because you know hes got your back while your gone... what else can you ask for. I store a boat here and the customer service is outstanding and I never worry about brake ins at this property. Maybe you should check it out and give yourself the piece of mind you deserve. Larry

He is the most knowledgeable and helpful resident manager I have ever encountered at a public storage facility and would recommend him highly. John was an absolute heaven sent angel he was able to estimate the unit size that I required for my items just by me explaining to him what I needed to store. He was working the entire time that I moved in blowing pine needles sweeping and he let me use the bathroom on site which was well kept John provided me with lots of information and he was quite pleasant he assured me that my items stored would be safe and secure and with John there I believe him great place to store your items thanks again john

There is a good man taking care of this place now.I’ve been a unit holder for about 3 years.This place was in OK shape when I’ve rented it, but went way down with time. Upkeep was dismal, dirty floors, trash on the hallways. Nine month ago there was brake in to my unit, the door must be primed by crow bar, lock door jam and lock was bent.I could not get management to fix the door properly for about 5-6 month. Had difficulty to get to my unit, they hold my key to the unit but never fixed lock or door properly.A month ago, I’ve met new manager name John. Complained about my problems, he was very concern and promised that he’ll take care of it. In couple of days I went to my unit & everything was fixed. He gave me keys back.Also I’ve notice 180 degrees change in the appearance of the place.I hope corporate / business owners will appreciate what kind of excellent employee they have right now.Thank you John !Sincerely yours,

I have rented at several storage places over the last 10 years. As most, my experiences have been less than pleasant. While I cant speak for the entire staff, today, I had a very pleasant and gratifying experience because of a worker named John. Every worker must answer questions, show units for rental, and provide paperwork. But my situation was much different. I am helping an elderly woman in her late 70s whos memory isnt what it used to be. Lets just say that she cant find the storage key for her unit.Ive had a similar experience at other locations myself. I simply misplaced the key. Each time, I was told that I would be charged a fee for lock removal, just keep looking, or Im sorry sir what do you want us to do?! John decided to go to the unit with me, go through each key that she thought might be the right one (🤷🏻‍♂️) even after I tried them myself. Then he went looking for a key since the |hinges were new. Then he actually called the owner for help and she said that she would come remove the lock for free to help my friend avoid being forced to wait until after the 1st and being charged for another month which my friend is in a shelter and can no longer afford.Kudos, thanks, gratitude to John and whoever the owner is, for having a heart during a time of true selfishness and greed in this generation. I appreciate him and hope that he is appreciated by the management and staff. Ur a good dude John!!! 👍

Decent storage facility. Price is average. Is located in an commercial area across the street from the boeing facility. For some reason this location does not show up on Google maps when searching for public storage. The man at the front desk isnt very helpful. Our car battery died while we were loading it and the man at the front desk said he couldnt help us so we had to call AAA. Besides the lack of customer service, this place is alright.

Everyone hates getting a storage. Its humiliating. So when you are in this situation and someone shows you a kindness the least you can do is let them know you appreciate it! Your employee, John, not only made my experience smooth and painless, but I actually left the facility with my dignity in tact. He was helpful and professional. DO NOT USE THIS FACILITY! As you can see from other reviews....LOTS OF THEFT! As I was filing my Police report, I checked the Monthly Storage Burglary Report. This PS: 5566 Bolsa, is at the top of the list! 15 thefts in the month of April, 22 YTD. (Does not include May) That says a lot! First, and foremost, they do not care about their customers. The only cameras are at the entrance of the building, not on any of the hallways. Clearly the thieves know this too! How people can be so cold and malicious to break in and steal things that have clear sentimental value.

Walked in and spoke to John, he was great.. He advised me of perfect size unit and additional services and supplies and all at at excellent price. Thank you John.!

The customer service here is on a different level. John definitely deserves a raise! :) He is probably one of the most helpful employee there. The lock on my storage unit has had multiple problems over the couple of months and John has always been the employee to catch it and report to me. I bought a MasterLock that is different from the ones they sell there so it is quite difficult to open/ lock. Every time that I need to go into my storage unit, I always need to ask John. Unlike other employees that get really irritated and annoyed, John is so nice and is more than happy to help. Not only that, but he doesnt push you to buy the Public Storage items which is really awesome. I think that the employees that have to do a round and check that all storage units are locked and closed securely at least once a day. John, on the other hand, does it 3 times!! Such a great employee!

WARNING: Entirely negative experience at this place. All of my items were stolen and every day that goes by I realize another thing that is missing. Dont store anything here that you even remotely care about.There is a thief at this facility taking advantage of complete lack of security. One security camera at the front gate and building left open 24 hours a day. The only thing that closes is the gate at a certain hour, but that doesnt keep somebody entering by foot. Police even pointed out that other units have been broken into when they came to investigate.Staff was difficult to get a hold of, can do little to nothing to stop any sort of theft, and wont let you review security footage unless police request it. I think its a crime that this place is allowed to function under these conditions and able to advertise this location as safe & secure.The day I put my stuff in this building was a day I wish never happened. I could go on and on about what was stolen, but just beware and choose another facility with better security. Take it from me and dont become another victim of this horrible dirty building.Shame on you Public Storage for allowing a building like this to do business with peoples possessions.

We are preparing for a possible move and have been checking different facilities. We visited Joy on Bolsa Ave, and were met with a friendly face, wonderful attitude, and a warm welcome. Joy answered all our questions, gave us all our options, took us on a tour of the property and was able to show us a couple of empty units so we could better get an idea of what we would need.The property was extremely clean, even the public restroom. Should we need a space during our move, we will without a doubt, be contacting Joy.

My Storage Unit was broken into and many of my things we stolen. Because This property does not have security cameras in the hallways the theives were able to take their time and steal at their liesure. The staff is very friendly, although I like a friendly staff it doesnt keep my stuff safe.
