I am so happy that I came to this repair store! I went to Battery Plus is Crystal Lake first. Brought it in they checked everything on my phone, everything worked (sensor home button, calls, texts etc) besides needing my cracked screen fixed. They did all there checks, so they took my phone to repair the screen. Few hours later, they call me to tell me my phone screen is fixed but my home button and the sensory for the finger print still doesnt work. Obviously, like I stated my phone was working perfectly. They would not fix it, didnt want to double check their work or anything and then they called me a liar and a thief. So I called CPR, Eduardo Garcia listen to what happen and stated to come in and I will run a full diagnostic and fix the button on your phone for FREE. That was amazing! So, I brought my phone in the following day to CPR in Huntley and after a half hour he called and said my button was fixed and that he did not have to replace it. Stated that they didnt check the connect for my home button to the board and that they just needed to connect them! Eduardo did such an amazing job helping me out with a awful disaster with Battery Plus! I was so grateful that he fixed my phone!! Great place to go to for quality customer service and good experienced employees! Thank you Eduardo!!!

I highly recommend this cell phone repair shop. I needed to replace the back of the phone on my Galaxy S8. Eduardo, the manager, was very helpful and ordered the part for me. When the part arrived, I stopped in and he fixed it while I waited in about 30 minutes. Very reasonable repair rates as well as knowledgeable and friendly service!

I would highly recommend CPR. To me what stood out was the honest straightforward approach to repairing my daughters phone. Paul took the time to diagnose the repairs vs costs. In the end we agreed the costs were too high for the value of the phone. Total cost zero as he was unable to repair. Most companies would charge to just look.

I cannot say enough good things about these folks. What a great concept and business model. They has my sons smashed screen & camera working in 45 minutes. When you go to a cell phone provider, you wait for 45 minutes just for them to tell you it will be a while longer. I am dropping my useless cell phone provider insurance with a $200 deductible PER PHONE and using CPR for all my cell phone issues in the future. The service was amazing. From my 1st phone call inquiring about the issue and estimate of cost, to dropping it off, to them calling us back in 45 minutes after completed. What great service. I cant emphasize enough what it is like to have your phone (lifeline) fixed in such a short time and with a complete smile. I will recommend you to all my friends. Keep up the wonderful work.

This place is fantastic. I came in with a broken screen and non working sim card reader. They replaced the screen with an OEM part so that I could still use my warranty to get a completely new phone since a broken screen would have voided my warranty.Highly recommend getting a repair here, as they were fast and consist of a knowledgeable staff who really care about solving your problems!

I brought in a tablet that I use for work and spoke with Eduardo, the general manager. He was very kind and helpful. He told me he would contact the maker of the company, Lenovo, in Hong Kong and try to get the piece that was needed to repair it. He always kept in communication with me via e-mail through out the process. Eduardo has excellent customer service and always explained what was going on. Would recommend going anywhere else. For a franchise of this size, I expected better. I got very poor customer service. They had my phone for 2 weeks, never called me when they said they would, no one but the manager seemed to know anything about my phone, and he never seemed to be in the building (so I dont know how he was managing to work on my phone). They called me once after more than a week had passed to tell me that they were ordering parts, and then when I called a week later they said the phone was not repairable, and no one had bothered to call me when they found that out. I had to call them repeatedly for updates, which is unacceptable in my opinion, especially when theyve stopped working on the phone. I told them that I was coming in that day to pick up the phone, and they said it would be ready, and when I got there, they still had yet to put it together.Side notes: There was a lady there when I went to pick up the phone who had presumably been told her phone was ready or would be ready by a certain time, and they made her wait an extra 20 minutes. There was also a guy there whose phone was having issues since the initial repair, and he had to go back to get it repaired a second time. It doesnt seem like they have their act together.

The new manager was very pleasant and so helpful. He was able to fix my phone in a very short time and I was on my way. The store is in a very convenient location too. Check them out when you have a problem.

Great customer service. Getting my phone fixed for a shattered unresponsive screen here turned into somewhat of a saga (nothing bad on the stores part just not an easy we have it in the store come back in an hour type situation). I picked up my phone and wasnt sure that the screen was working properly so I wanted to leave it out of the case so I didnt break the case taking it in and out. I knew that it would be taken care of under warranty if not working.Of course I shattered the screen again, because no case. The manager I had been working with got my message 5 minutes before ordering cut off and was unable to reach me. He made the decision to order the parts without talking to me. Im so happy I returned because of how well they treated me instead of going to the place that said they could do it faster because when I came in the parts were there for me. Not only that, but they discounted the service understanding how bad it was to have to pay for the same screen twice in a week.You dont find customer service like this much anymore where they are willing to genuinely help and try to do what is best for the customer while potentially putting themselves in a less than ideal position. I will be bringing any electronics needing repair here, although I do hope we go without incident and I dont have to go in anytime soon.

They were patient with my lack of technological expertise, kind & etotalky affordable.My most recent experience was a broken phone & data retrieval. They guys are great. Fast and really nice to work with. Was it expensive, yeah, but much cheaper than a new phone. BTW, dont drop your phone! However, if you, and you shatter the glass like I did, these are the guys Im going to see if it ever happens again. Which it wont. Ever. Until next time. But that will be the last time.

Top notch customer service!My iPhone is a HUGE asset in my life. I use it for work, I use it to promote my band, I use it to keep in constant communication with my pregnant wife...just in case!My battery started dying by NOON! Then, it was so shot that my mobile charger couldnt even keep it alive anymore.Ed and the team at CPR got me in and out in 30 minutes! And since its conveniently located next to a popular pizza joint, the wait was over before I knew it!

I was in a bind....had a friend who said they could fix my wifes phone and ended up after a week not being able to do so. I did a Google search for cell phone repair and the closest was CPR in Huntley. Eduardo Garcia was absolutely incredible. Customer Service at its finest! I told him my wife needed the phone asap as it was used for work and has already been out of commission for a week. He assured me it would be fixed by 5p, and it was done by 4p!! I would recommend anyone in need to contact Eduardo directly....very reasonably priced and nothing but incredible service. Ill be recommending anyone who asks for cell phone repair to go here!

If you are having trouble with your IPhone and its not under warranty this is the place to bring it. My phone wouldnt charge and I took it to the Apple store and they said they couldnt do anything about it and wanted me to buy a new phone for $300. I passed and went to CPR. They got my phone to charge in less then 5 min. Great service and great people.

Great service! Ed and his team repaired the screen on my sons Nintendo DS. Price was as quoted. It took a little longer than expected because they had to order a special part but that was no issue they let me know ahead of time what was going on with it. I would recommend and go again if I need anything else serviced.

I took my phone there after it stopped working due to suffering some water damage. The guys were AWESOME! They spent hours working on fixing my phone and found the cheapest fix which was MUCH less then my deductible I would have paid with my insurance through the carrier. They were thorough in their explanations and doid not try to sell me on things I didnt need. I could not be happier and plan on dropping my insurance through my carrier because I dont need it with these guys in town!

My iPhone fell out of my hand while camping and landed face down on on concrete. Let’s just say it didn’t end well. Thankfully I live close enough to a repair place like this, came in, and they fixed my screen within 2 hours. Although, the first screen they put on was faulty and would tap things and open apps without me even touching it, funny how it even started doing that 5 min after I had left the store. Emailed them and told them about my issue and they had me come in again and they put a new screen on for free with no issues so far!!! Thank you and hopefully I won’t be breaking anything else anytime soon !

Went in to get my iPhone fixed because the touch screen was non-responsive. I was initially quoted 120$ for parts and labor however because they took the time to take apart and check the individual parts they were able to save me almost 100$ (i was only charged for labor). The manager Edwardo was also immensely helpful.

For all the reviews, I expected something great. Instead, I got quoted one price to replace my battery over the phone, and a nearly double rate when I got to the store. They knocked a whole $10 off for my trouble - yay.Then when I picked up the phone, the screen had dried glue and other detritus on it that wouldnt simply wipe off. I found it extremely unprofessional to not give the screen a cursory wipe before returning it to a customer.

I took my phone in to replace the charging port and after looking at it they told me it just needed to be cleaned and the problem would go away. They cleaned it for me in-store and didnt charge me for anything. Very happy with the service and glad I brought it there!

Dropped off my PS4 here about 2 months ago because of lightening damage. Never got a call about it. Went in today to pick it up, and when I asked if they did anything with it, the man replied with, “I don’t know.”When I got home, of course, it didn’t work. I don’t believe they ever even touched it.I will absolutely never go to this place again.

The LCD screen was broken on my iPhone 6 plus, the phone looked so ugly that I was embarrassed to take it to any place for repair, two months later I decided to give these guys a call, explained the condition, and they said they can get it fixed in 45 min, I really doubted it but decided to give it a try, stopped at the store, handed the phone, was watching the first reaction on the guys face, he said ok give as 45 min, came back on time and the phone was all good! The cost was very reasonable, very happy with my phone, great place, and great service!

CPR was my second call - after the first place I tried was unreliable I called CPR and they were great! I called on Monday, my part was in on Tuesday and when I dropped my phone off it was done less than an hour later. Will for sure be back if the need arises!

Went here because my iPhones screen keeps shorting out and turning black. Spent $150 on a new screen because they claimed it was an LCD issue. Not even a day later the screen shuts off and turns black again. Went back and they detected water damage and fixed the corrosion in my phone and said its perfect again.. it still is shutting down! Never going back! Not worth it

They fixed my iphone glass quick. Very professional. On top of this, when my iphone updated, for some reason the phone no longer worked. I believe the update caused some issues with non apple hardware (replaced glass). I called CPR, they fixed my iphone for free. Definitely will use and recommend this place in the future.

Great place! I highly recommend CPR for repair. They have replaced my Samsung S6 screen and an ipad mini screen. If they had not fixed my Samsung screen I would have lost all of my pictures. They are also very fast, both were done in a day. Excellent service!

I just got back from having my iPad repaired. I was so nervous that I might have broken it beyond repair when it slipped out of my hands last night. Not a problem. Eduardo took excellent care of me. He is fast, efficient, knowledgeable, and friendly. What more can you ask from a service company? The name of the store can be slightly misleading because they repair more than just cell phones. They also repair tablets and computers. I couldnt be more thrilled that it took less than five minutes and my iPad is working like new again! A few months ago they were able to help my husband with a repair to his iPod. The same experience...efficient, knowledgeable, and friendly!

I had incredible experience with saving my iphone 6 plus. I was on a motorcycle and got soaked in the rain. Apple told me I was screwed.The guys at CPR got the phone going and most importantly backed up the data. 3000 contacts that I would have lost if it wasnt for CPR.My iphone 6 was not backed up to a computer or the cloud. I had 22,000 pictures on there. I spend a total of 9 hours at Apple during 2 visits. I tried to walk through procedures with ATT. CPR was the only one to figure out and solve the problem. These guys work as a team and are not just about making a buck- they really cared about my phone and my data! Hats off to this A Plus team! Everyone should bring their phone here! Ed the manager should be given a customer service reward.

The staff was extremely welcoming and personal. They managed to fix a shorted out screen and save me $250 that I was quoted at Verizon for a brand new screen. Only cost me $50 for them to open my phone up and find the problem. Did it within the hour too. Never going to Verizon again!

WHAT A TOTALLY BAD EXPERIENCE THIS WAS. I CAME IN AND GOT A QUOTE TO REPLACE A CHARGING PORT COVER ON MY PHONE. I WAS GIVEN A QUOTE OF 25 DOLLARS, SINCE I WORK DOWN THE STREET AND I WAS GOING TO BE AT WORK ALL DAY ANYWAYS I TOLD THE GENERAL MANAGER I WOULD COME BACK THE NEXT DAY AND HAVE IT DONE. I WENT BY WORK AND REALIZED I HAD QUITE A FEW THINGS TO COMPLETE THE NEXT DAY SO MAYBE IT WASNT SUCH A GOOD IDEA TO FIX THE PHONE THE NEXT DAY.I PROCEEDED TO GO TO BANK /ATM AND TAKE OUT SOME CASH TO PAY FOR THE REPAIR AND WENT BACK TO CPR TO HAVE THE PORT COVER REPLACED.I GET TO CPR WITH THE PART IN HAND (SINCE I GOT THE MANUFACTURER TO SEND ME ONE KNOWING THEY HAVE HAD ISSUES IN THE PAST AS TO ITS LASTING RELIABILITY). I GET TO THE COUNTER AND ANOTHER EMPLOYEE GREETS ME AND I EXPLAIN MY SITUATION TO HIM, HE GOES IN BACK AND COMES OUT TO TELL ME IT WILL BE 35 DOLLARS TO REPAIR.....I TOLD HIM THE GENERAL MANAGER TOLD ME IT WAS 25 DOLLARS NOT AN HOUR AGO..( THATS A 40% MARKUP OVER WHAT I WAS QUOTED NOT AN HOUR EARLIER)....HE SAYS HE TALKED TO THE GENERAL MANGER AND THATS WHAT IT IS......SO I BIT MY TONGUE AND SAID GO AHEAD AND INSTALL THE NEW PORT COVER.SOME OF THE PEOPLE AT WORK SUGGESTED I GO HERE AND SAID THEY GIVE A 10% DISCOUNT IF YOURE IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD...SO I ASKED AND WAS TOLD THERE IS NO DISCOUNT AVALABLE AT THIS TIME.I WAIT ABOUT 10-15 MINUTES AND WAS TOLD ITS ALL FIXED AND READY....SO I GET MY PHONE AND TURN ON THE SCREEN AND IT SAYS THAT THE PHONE NEEDS A SIM CARD TO OPERATE PROPERLY. SO I ASKED THE GUY WHY THIS IS ON MY SCREEN, I DIDNT HAVE ANY FUNCTIONALITY ISSUES WITH THE PHONE ITSELF ONLY A COSMETIC ISSUE WITH THE CASING OF THE PHONE....SO WHY DID YOU PULL MY SIM CARD OUT OF THE PHONE????...HE TELLS ME IT IS STANDARD PROCEDURE FOR THEM TO CHECK THAT THE PHONE IS FUNCTIONAL EVERY TIME YOU BRING IT IN FOR WORK....EVEN THOUGH THERE WAS NOTHING TO DO WITH A FUNCTIONALITY ISSUESEEMS TO ME LIKE A BAIT AND SWITCH BUSINESS TACTIC AS WELL AS LIES AND DECEPTION, NOT TO MENTION THAT THEY PULLED OUT MY SIM CARD FOR A COSMETIC CASE REPAIR...I DONT KNOW ABOUT YOU,,,,BUT NOT A PLACE I WOULD TRUST WITH THE PRICE OF TECHNOLOGY TODAY AS WELL AS PRIVACY ISSUES AND PULLING OUT OF SIM CARDS. Took my 2015 Moto X Pure Edition in to get the USB charging port fixed because the cable only charged at a certain angle. The phone was a gift to my mother. When I got the phone back, the port was fixed but the microphone on the bottom of the phone was weak and it sounded like a tunnel. This didnt happen before the charging port issue so I know it was something that CPR did on their end. I took the phone back a second time and paid an extra 55 bucks only to have the same thing happen later on. Now my mother has a broken phone and Im out 130 bucks. Absolutely unacceptable. I will not refer anyone that needs a small electronic device repaired to go to their business.EDIT: CPR contacted me in regards to and Im bumping up this review due to good customer service. They couldnt repair the phone, but they were able to give me back the money for it so in my mind thats making good on the effort.
