Went in to see about pricing to switch to I phone for my daughter. The guy said depending on I phone. I said I did not know anything about them. He said maybe you want to get your daughter involved. Maybe not. She is 13. Not her choice. Maybe it is going to be a Christmas gift. MAYBE he should take me to the phones and show me what is available and explain the differences. Much better service at best buy.

Very poor customer service, talked down to me for asking questions about why they sell customers 5g phones that will never get 5g because they put 4g sim cards in the phone. Beware of what you are buying in this store, it may not do what it is advertised to do.

Always have had excellent service here, especially compared to several of the Verizon stores in Wichita. I usually go in the evening. All the staff I have worked with have been helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. Ive had to start service, upgrade my phone, and get a receipt from months ago reprinted. My dad lost his phone and they were able to help locate it also.

We left before service. We waited approximately 30 min with 4 people in front of us. The same customers were being helped when we left as when we came in. The workers lacked any sense of urgency in their process. I am sure if I had 4 to 5 hours available to wait they might have been able to help. Unfortunately I can not confirm this. That is why a 2 star and not a 1 star.

I called recently to check on being able to buy a phone elsewhere and get it activated on my Verizon account. Things I was told:1. I was being forwarded to a local store representative2. There would be no issue doing this3. I could just bring it by the store, I just needed a face maskThings that I found upon going to the store:1. Their hours are significantly changed, as they are no longer open on Sundays (the day I went by) at all2. They are open ONLY BY APPOINTMENT, and ONLY for CRITICAL things like repairs of Verizon-bought phones or activating phones BOUGHT THROUGH VERIZON DIRECTLY3. So the store is essentially permanently closed. Have to drive an hour to find one that MAY let me activate my new phone

Best Verizon store I have been to. They are always helpful, friendly, and making sure they get you set up right the first time. They even have stayed late for me tonight some watches set up without changing attitude. They stayed calm friendly and didnt rush and made sure we were all set up. Thank you

Lied to multiple times to switch over from US Cellular. Told us we would get up to $650 per line to pay off US Cellular phones. When we went to turn the bill in they told us the promotion ended 5 days prior to us signing up. Went back to the store to get it figured out and was met with nothing but attitude and the manager was unwilling to do much about an $800 bill. Also told us the upper unlimited plan was only needed if we wanted service in Canada and Mexico. So we obviously went with the lower, and couldnt get enough service to watch a short YouTube clip. So on top of everything else we had to up our plan to get basic service that other providers have already. The Hutchinson KS store is not worth your time. Luckily, I called tech support and the nice woman I spoke with was able to get me some of the money with little problem. How can a tech support worker understand the situation over the phone but a Manager of a store cant see the writing right in front of her eyes? Thespecialist that got us to switch over and the manager dont have much of a moral compass. I would avoid the Hutchinson store at all costs if youre looking to switch over from a different provider

We went there to have our daughters phone pit on our plan. Sam and his manager were so incredibly helpful. They bent over backwards to make sure we were happy. They made our experience awesome. They went out of their way to make sure they gave us the most affordable plan. Thanks guys!

This store convinced my 72 year old mom she needed a new iPhone. She constantly has problems, mostly because she does not understand how the internet works and can not learn at this point. While I could easily fix these issues, Im pretty pissed they talked her out of her simple old flip phone (it was too old to continue working, not true) and into a phone that is way more than she will ever be able to use. So no matter the problem, I decided I was no longer wasting my time trying to explain something she can not comprehend to her. I take her back to the store that convinced her that she needed a high end smart phone. I am absolutely amazed at the condescending attitudes of the staff. Like the typical stereotypical IT meme, they act like it is an imposition to do their job. That the person requesting help must be an imbecile. And while my mom is woefully ignorant of how a smart phone works, I am not computer illiterate. It was appalling to watch the man helping us treat her like she was a step away from a dementia unit because she could not understand the device they pressed on her. Shame on your staff. No wonder this company has such a bad reputation.

The person who helped me was very courteous and understanding. I had a problem he hadnt come across before. He took it to his supervisor and the two of them spent about half hour till it was fixed. I was impatient, they were calm and not the least put off by my development of attitude. These guys did an excellent job, research and repair with a sincere smile.

This particular branch did absolutely everything they could to help me with my business account, however there was a glitch in the system that was very time consuming. Spent over an hour on the phone while in the store attempting to get it corrected, it ended up taking three days to upgrade a phone. Again, was not this particular branch’s fault but rather a corporate/system issue that was inconvenient

I was told if I ordered my phone and paid for it I would have the activation fees and service fees waived. So I went ahead and did it as money is really tight. Well just got my first bill and they charged me 230$ for the first month and it should only be 56$ plus taxes and fees. I contacted trying to get it fixed. They refused to make it right. So I will be contacting the BBB

We returned a phone that had a broken camera lense when we recieved it. They are now telling me it was not damaged and charging me a restocking fee. Person i am chatting with refuses to connect me with a supervisor or provide me a number to call to speak with one.

Drove an hour to get a new phone because my other phone had not been working, had not had the phone for 14 days so k was able to do a return and when I got there the guy had tried to get into the phone and when he couldnt he said there was nothing they could do about it, well after two hours if being there and with rude customer service the associate finally sold me a different phone but when he handed it to me he slammed it in my hand made it fall on the floor and crack my screen, and no body did a thing about it. DO NOT GO TO THE HUTCH VERIZON STORE, you will get crappy service

If your from McPherson I would save you the time and effort to go to the Hutchinson store then the one in McPherson. I had a better experience, I was greeted immediately walking through the door and was told what part of the queue I would be in and an expectate wait time. The associate handling my needs worked with me professionally, and I feel as if they had a lot of teamwork when one of them would be leaving because I saw a lot of handshakes and goodbyes. Overall had a very pleasant experience.

Seldom have I been treated as rudely in a business as I was Saturday. A Verizon representative (not from this store) messed up, and shut off my phone rather than my obsolete tablet, and I lost a lot of information that cant be retrieved. The representative from the store was quite rude and kept interrupting when I was on the phone with Verizon. In general, I felt like I was treated with contempt and condescension for a problem that was neither my fault or hers. Verizon offered me $5 for the hassles. (The people in this store have always been helpful before when I am buying products or services that make them money. The store deserves a higher rating; the service that day does not)

Good stuff the employees are a lil uneducated on some of the devicesEdit: one thing I forget to mention is how The employees are, probably trained but I dont know, to upsell especially older and/or less technologically inclined people, to buy more expensive devices that they dont really need. Example: the most recent time I was in there, there were two elderly men probably 65-ish and the one was looking to upgrade his iPad. His main problem with his old iPad was storage. I overheard that he had 16 gigabytes of storage and the employee was trying to sell him on 256 GB.now for what hes going to use that for that is totally unnecessary and almost a $200 difference in price. I tried to say something, but the employee brushed me off and the elderly man didnt know any better so he brushed me off as well. I know its not technically illegal, but it feels like it should be, these people will believe anything that employee says because they are not very well informed, and the employee can take advantage of their lack of knowledge and sell them stuff that they dont need. This type of guerrillamarketing seems unethical at best and should be stopped.

Terrible customer service. I bought an s9 plus and they gave me an s8 screen cover because they were out. That cover fell off because it didnt fit, I went in and asked for the correct cover they told me to come the next day when the truck comes in, I came the next day they said come late, I come later a guy working there says we dont know when they come in (even though he stood there and heard them tell me to come back later) wouldnt get me another s8 cover to protect my phone and was extremely RUDE. I will be switching services.

Was sold an opened device, was told they couldnt ship me a new, if they did it would be refurbished. I had literally just bought the device. I truly felt as if I were a number, not a person. Compared to GB (when it was corporate) & Salina this was not a fun experience. When u upgrade u expect be told about how we can lower ur cost as a customer, that a new Note was coming out! Just bought the 8! Dang it.... and so on. Just not looking forward to having to go back and I wont have a choice because only local corporate one around besides a drive to Salina or ICT. Be prepared. A tip for folks... SCHEDULE AN APPT. You can do it online. Helps a bit with wait times.... maybe next x it will be better. The 4 times in a decade Ive been in... hasnt really been.
