Unsafe and DisrespectfulI prefer to shop and support local businesses but after my recent experience I will not be going back to Ace. Not only did none of the workers have masks on, but when we clearly were uncomfortable and trying to keep our distance, they laughed. As if worrying for your health and the health of your loved ones during a global pandemic is funny. I will continue to support local but only with businesses who have some ounce of empathy, care and respect for others. Clearly this store does not.

Rented a trailer from the U-haul at this location. The owner was on site (Sunday) and he helped w the trailer and went through step by step on use and securing the car to the trailer. Very comprehensive and kind. Thank you so much for great service. 🚗

Please support your local small businesses by shopping here and preserve Main Street America for years to come instead of shopping at Menards which will sell you inferior items.

Love Ace Hardware. Helpful people who know the business. Use it for everything except big, bulk items. May cost a little more, but not much, however they have what you need and people who can advise you when youre not sure.

They have wonderful service! They carry quality paint. I bought a color of paint that I wasn’t happy with when I started painting on my fireplace. Custom color is not returnable so I asked them if they could adjust the color. They were happy to! They put color in my paint, shook it and dried a sample four different times to get it right. I could tell they genuinely wanted me to be happy with it. I really appreciated their effort and I ended up loving the paint.

You dont get help and service like this at the big box stores!!You dont know what you have in a store like Ace in Hutch until have no choices but the big box stores! We visit Ace Hardware in Hutchinson a few times per week! We have ALL of our paint matched there, they can match just about anything! Best place to but paint in Hutchinson! We go there for all of our hardware needs FIRST!

Ive shopped here multiple times and it has always been a great experience, but today was extra amazing. I rented a uhaul to move out of state and was on a very tight schedule. They answered all my questions and had my uhaul ready. Thank you to the staff at Ace!

Dave at Ace Hardware is a Book of Knowledge! His staff is Amazing too. From finding screws for my hardware that have odd sizings to tinting paint no job has been to hard for the team at Ace! Dave at Ace pretty much has everything you need when you don’t feel like getting lost in Menards. Friendly service, fair prices, rental items and Central McGowan gas service is a plus as well.

Best place around to get keys done! The staff and owner are friendly and helpful and every key Ive ever had cut there, be it their house keys or a car key have been amazing. Well worth a few extra dollars vs. Walmart keys, because they always work!

I actually used a slang term for an item I was looking for my husband and the associate said I think I know what you are describing and lead me to the aisle. Bam it was exactly what I needed. I had not been to Ace Hardware in Hutchinson too much before I started working at Innovative Foam, now I visit (or call) several times a week! I had no idea there were still stores around that greeted you at the door and helped you every step of the way! I can literally walk in, they ask me what I am looking for and they walk me to it! I wish I had known this when I was a single girl living alone! Ace is the best place to get paint and hardware in Hutchinson! I love all of the staff!

It seemed a little disorganized compared to most Ace Hardwares Ive been too.Most staff members that walked by did ask me if I needed any help.

I really like ace hardware as a store. This store has a few very rude employees. Primarily younger people however I was surprised that is not contained to the younger employees. I got a key made there it didnt work and when I went back they no longer carried the key and the guy working was very rude about having to handle the situation. The first guy I talked to didnt know what to do so he asked a second employee who blatantly told 1 st guy no I wont help you Im doing my own thing. (Note I was the only customer in the store and this guy was standing in the paint section doing nothing) so guy 1 went to guy 3 who was the manger he said (this was a weekend) guy 3 acted like it was going to kill him tho answer a few questions about how to handle the situation. (The problem was they used the wrong type of key) he tried to argue with me that it was the right key and theres no reason it shouldnt have worked. After showing him the difference in the keys he refunded my money and walked away.Another incident my husband went for something they carry, they were out of stock. I went 2 days later when he was told theyd be getting it in. There was a list (reserve) and it was full all product coming in was going to be accounted for. However my husband wasnt informed of such list. However the guy helping me insisted they would have told my husband this. (Even though he wasnt).So I only go here for their products and to drop off ups packages.

Dave the owner here Hutchinson has the best team that makes a small town business successful!But, one young man stands out, that ACE Headquaters needs to know about. He obviously has been trained at home and at this store with EXCEPTIONAL work ethics and PUBLIC RELATIONS.I use this store a lot as a female and as soon as I walk in and this young man sees me..He makes eye contact with a smile, comes to great me and asks what he can help me with!Other young employees wait till I come to them and ask for help.With 40,000+ products in the store, this young man is very knowledgeable and cordial of everyone of my request.I believe his name is Eamonn, which is beautifully unique, but I decided to call him “Ace”!He agreed and was obviously honored to be nicknamed my chosen request.He is “Top Gun” in my eyes and has a bright future in society.He’s definately a Maverick in a good way and stands out.THANKS “Ace” for job well done!!
