Seriously cannot beat their customer service. We were there late with 2 kids, they were SO helpful and accommodating with our budget and ideals in a car. Junior helped us with the car and our questions and was SO genuine, we loved asking him questions and really felt listened to. Rod was so patient with our questions and made sure we understood and even gave us more options we needed to help us feel more in control of the process- he helped us with finances and even anticipated the kids, he had crayons ready for them while we signed papers!! I have had three different experiences with the people at Smith Honda, and each one was top notch. I bought my Civic from them back in 2019, and each person on the staff who I interacted with was knowledgeable and courteous, and not one bit pushy. From sales to financing, they were primarily interested in helping me meet my needs. A year later, I helped my brother find a used trade-in from their lot, and not only were they equally helpful, but several of them even remembered my name and what car I had bought. Talk about going above and beyond! Most recently, I booked an oil change with their service department and have no complaints at all. Fast service and friendly people.Just a stellar shop all around. Highly recommended.

In a manner of hours, Kayla had me set up in my dream car and even better, at a dream price. I could not have asked for a better experience. Everything I asked for and more was given to me. If you have the opportunity to shop here, ask for Kayla. I am truly grateful for how wonder I was treated here. Car buying has been a true nightmare for me to say the least. I was treated like family here. Ill be back.I have had NOTHING but problems with this dealership since I purchased my car. The service department is an absolute joke as is the girl who sold me the car. I was told to pull over and let a service light go off and everything woukd be fine rather than to bring it in to have it looked at. And now I was informed they put a cheap brand of tire on the car when I purchased it since it was up to them to replace the tires. Only after throwing a fit did they find a solution.Im just disappointed in how hard I have had to fight any dealership I go to when something goes wrong with a car they sold me.I personally will not be back to this dealership.
I didnt have any intention of buying a car on 6/18/21. I just drove through their lot to see what they had. I met a sales ladie named Kayla. She was awesome. We discussed what my wife and I had planned for cars and she had a new trade in in the back that she showed me. A few hours later I left with a 2015 Denali. Finance were awesome. We both were shocked a what my fiance rate came back at. Love the vehicle and I have always been treated good by Smith Honda!
They took care of us right away. Could not ask for much more. Had a battery replaced in our car a little on the higher priced But the service was great.
I went here to get a key programmed and they figured out it wasnt the key and said they would do a diagnostic and just charge me for that instead of charging me for both the diagnostic and key. I never go to dealerships for auto repair but Smith Honda has changed my attitude towards dealerships. Im EXTREMELY happy with the service and customer care. Thank you everyone in the parts/service dept for helping me.
This is our second Honda from Smith’s. We were referred to Kayla in the Sales Group and she has proven to be excellent. We were treated as clients rather than customers! The manager, Sloan, met with us personally and between the two they have been remarkable. We paid a fair price both times and their attention to detail allowed us to be comfortable in both vehicles. We recommend also Taylor in the Service area, who has responded quickly when we scheduled vehicle serving.
I was passing through town with a dragging splash guard. Very frustrated with 15 more hours to drive that day - these guys made a quick temporary fix because they didn’t have the part (no charge) and were super helpful! Highly recommend.

I came in for an oil change on my 93 Honda Accord. Not one person asked my name, they just took my keys and told me where to sit. I waited for 50 minutes to an hour before a man came and called my name - I dont know where he got it, which also bothered me cuz the vehicle is registered to my dad. He walked me up to the counter and handed me a packet of information about my car, basically quoting me $1,800 in services I may need because they had no information on the vehicle and based on the mileage it may need XYZ. I noticed that they highlighted in red that there was an oil leak, But when I asked for more information he said he could not give it to me and I would need to schedule an inspection by the higher up mechanics or something. I recently had a transmission fluid leak and asked if perhaps he was seeing that and he told me he could not give give me any more information, and I would have to talk to the other mechanics. I dont understand, couldnt you tell difference between oil and pink transmission fluid while looking under my car during an oil change?? I am extremely disappointed by the lack of customer service or friendliness exhibited by the the technicians here, and I will not be coming back.
I would HIGHLY recommend this group! Every person we interacted with during the process of purchasing our vehicle was genuine, friendly, and professional. We test drove the vehicle with absolutely zero pressure, and when it came time to purchase we told the salesman (Mike) to go back to the desk and do the very best he could for us. He came back with a more than fair offer with no back and forth negotiating.They had some computer issues which slowed their doc process down, but were quick to apologize for the wait (which I did not think was very long at all).When it came time to sign everything, the paperwork was exactly what we expected, no extras, no, “well, we didn’t mention this, but....”We will go back without hesitation when it comes time to purchase our next vehicle.Thank you for a WONDERFUL experience!!!
While on a Roadtrip had to get and oil change. The Service advisor Spencer was great. From the entrance receptionist to the tech who got to work on the car, everyone was awesome. Very friendly and did a great job.
It is the best place to get a new vehicle. This is the first truck I have ever bought from a dealership and my experience was great, put a free 3 year bumper to bumper warranty on with the price of the vehicle. We had the best sales person too, Kayla was very nice and the best to work with. Definitely will recommend again.

We have purchased two SUVs from the and the car buying was easy and our salesman was amazing. What is not great is the fact that we purchased the wireless charging option and since we purchased the SUV in May 2020 the wireless charger has not worked. We have complained about it every time we bring the car in and each time we are told something different from it’s a flaw to that’s just how it is and also that maybe it’s your phone. We have tried and tried to get it fixed and nothing has worked. So if you buy it is easy to buy but if something goes wrong be prepared for some issues.

I stopped by Smith Honda looking at a Chevrolet used truck they had parked on the lot, I was looking to upgrade.After a bit I met Kayla W., she was not aggressive (would’ve made me walk away), but very helpful and knowledgeable. She guided me to a dealership next door that had more of what I was looking for at a better deal. ... I made her earn her commission over the next couple weeks, calling for questions, multiple test drives, and she was always happy and willing to help and come in when not working due to my schedule, even weeks after the sale! She has earned my business in the future by her knowledge and help through and after the sale......I even switched brands that I thought I would never do. Very happy, thank you Kayla! Many people that come here are aware of how helpful and kind Stacey is. I’ve had her as my service writer a few times and she truly goes above and beyond. I had an unforeseen issue with my car and was able to get it in at Smith’s She was aware I was going out of town that weekend and was accommodating on a tight schedule. The car was done right when I needed! She exceeds customer service. The parts department is the same way. Kathy and Shakira are very helpful and generous. Their smiles you can hear through the phone! I think my only issue is it seems they don’t keep much parts in stock. My car had some parts that were rare and definitely needed special ordering. However a belt tensioner, bolts. serpentine belt, and PCV valve seem like common things to have in stock.

The service of everyone was good. The people there tried to work with us, trying to find a car that would be best for us. They were all kind To and patient with us and our kids.The only concern we had (which is why I didn’t rate them a 5.) there were a couple pre-existing Issues that we had to figure out on our own, and a two more issues we found after purchasing and driving the vehicle more. We think they should have been transparent about the maintenance, and condition. I feel that the dealership should be willing to first: be completely upfront with any/all problems or fixes needed. And second: they should be willing to take the cost of the fix out of the price for the car.The fixes we knew about before buying were only mentioned because we noticed and asked about them.
We came in for a recall on our 2000 Honda car. Although the recall notice said that the time to complete the repair would take up to 30 minutes, we were told that we would be waiting for an hour and a half, up to 2 hours at most.In those 2 hours, we got no update or any information at all, this was contrasting to everyone around us who were getting updates at least every hour.After the 2hr 30 minute mark, we went up to ask for a status update and we were told that wed be waiting an additional 30 minutes. This 3 hour wait for a simple 30 minute fix felt pretty unacceptable.I understand we werent paying customers so some delays are expected but they lost the chance of us coming back anytime in the future to become paying customers..
We had a great experience with Smith Honda. We worked with Kayla Wellard and if this review was just for her it would be 5 stars. She answered our questions without being pushy, unlike a lot of sales people we typically meet. She made sure our needs would be met with the vehicle we were looking at and gave solid recommendations while being respectful of our opinions. We had a few minor issues with another department that may or may not have been their fault, but it was still a good experience overall. I would definitely talk to Smith Honda in the future and recommend anyone looking at buying a car to at least see what they have to offer.

Honestly I feel like a I got a good price for my vehicle and Marcelino knew what he was doing! He told me the good AND bad things of the vehicle I was purchasing. Not only that he helped my mother understand what was going on since she only speaks Spanish. He was very kind and overall just a great employee. I’ll definitely have to refer my friends to come here next time.
I wish I could put zero stars on this review. I’m a relatively new customer to Smith Honda. I made an appointment for the services I required. I asked on the phone how long it would take, I was told 30 minutes. When I arrived the day of appointment, I once again asked how long it would take, I was told 45 minutes (not a big deal). I have now been here for 2 1/2 hours with no update. I have worked passed the big honchos in their corner office numerous times, not once have they poked their head out to see if I needed help, or made me feel welcomed. Horrible customer service. I will not be returning.It is now 4 days after my appointment. I ended up being there for over 4 hours. They told me they washed my car, walked out and there was dirt all down the side of it. My warning lights came back on this morning, so they didn’t even fix the problem. I have been trying to reach the service manager and the general manager to see to it that they make things right for wasting my time, and I get no reply. Pathetic management!
Parts Dept.Best price on Honda transmission fluid. Little over 8 dollars a quart. Also only place I was able to get my FORD key made yes I said FORD apparently Smith Honda is only ones in town at the time able to cut my key for my new fusion.Thanks,Smith Honda parts and service department.
Love my Honda! We leased our last two CR-Vs and when it came time to turn in the last one, we chose to buy our 2020. It is the most beautiful red! (I know, shallow color girl here) Everyone is very nice and helpful from finance to the service center, but I have to give a shout out to Kayla Wellard as she is the best sales representative, she actually came in on her day off just to help us get through the process smoothly, and this was the last Saturday before Christmas! She coordinated getting our protective invisible bra put on so we could travel immediately after the holidays and she checks in with me regularly to make sure my car is still running smoothly for us. I would definitely recommend everyone buy a Honda from Smiths and I highly recommend everyone ask for Kayla!
This was my first time buying a car in 14 years. Although I don’t have much to compare it to, Brandon gave me a pretty good experience. They also matched the price I was looking for. I was a tad disappointed when I only got one free oil change with the purchase of a new car, but the overall experience was pleasant.I wasn’t able to get a loaner car when I needed one, but I know they were busy that week.At the end of the day, I would recommend smith Honda to anyone looking for a Honda. Over all was a good experience. We traded in our 2018 Toyota Corolla hoping to find an older car or any car that would lower our monthly payments which they did! We told them we didn’t want to pay more than $250/month. Unfortunately we weren’t able to stay in that bracket but we are paying way less than what our normal car payment was. But our payment is pretty good for the car we got (2017 Ford Fusion) Brandon was our salesmen and he took pretty good care of us and was enjoyable to be around. The reason for the 3 star rating was A the payments being higher than what we wanted and B we waited around A LONG TIME. Our appointment was at 2 and we didn’t leave until 6. There was a good 2 hours of us just waiting around which was annoying, but wouldn’t stop me from going to them again. Just prepare for a long wait. Oh, they have a fair selection of complementary drinks which was nice on this warm summer day!
Wouldn’t give me the part number for what I was searching for, wanted $435.00. Found a brand new part for less than $40.00 on amazon. Must be why they keep those part numbers close. Love Honda, but this dealership can go pound sand.

Travelling through Idaho Falls are last week and our new Honda CR-V had some issues with the computerized safety features. Honda Road Assistance and the owners manual were of no help and we were concerned about braking problems. Called Smith Honda from the road and Stacie calmed us down and said she would squeeze us in when we got to town. This young lady is the absolute best service adviser in the entire universe! Her and her team treated us like royalty, loaded our luggage into a courtesy vehicle and drove us to our hotel. Less than an hour later, she called and the diagnostic check revealed what had happened ( a problem no one had seen before). Everything was checked, reset and the car delivered to us at our hotel! Including an awesome wash job that removed thousands of miles worth of bugs. We are so impressed that non-customers would be treated so well that we are seriously considering giving Smith Honda a shot at our next Honda purchase and would gladly return to Idaho Falls from Phoenix to do so! Seriously. To the entire Smith Honda team, and especially Stacie, an old Navy veteran gives you a Hooyah! Awesome job, everyone.

It was nice that I didnt have to take time off work in order to get my vehicle serviced. Thank you for your customer focus!
We took our car in to be serviced at Smith Honda. The customer service was awesome. They were nice and helpful. We were told $3000 worth of stuff needed fixed and replaced. Some of the things were major and since we do not have much money we went to get a second opinion. We took it to a local mechanic in Blackfoot we trust (a close friend works there) and were told nearly everything we were told needed fixed was just fine. The timing belt that Honda said needed to be replaced had a sticker right on it that said it has been replaced 30,000 miles ago, and on our car, it is recommended to replace every 70-80,000 miles. There were a bunch more little things listed that did not need replaced. We knew taking it to a dealership would have us spend more money than usual on some little things, but we did not realize they would want us to spend thousands of dollars more than we needed to and replace perfectly good parts on our car. We will not be back. I am only giving them two stars for the way we were treated when we were waiting for our vehicle to be serviced. They also emailed the plan to us on what needed fixed. Sad to find out they either dont know what they are doing, or dont care enough about the customer to give them honesty on what really needed done on the vehicle.

They did a great job getting me in and getting the part ordered, but they had no regard for my time. I guess that’s the advantage of being the only Honda dealership in town. They said it would only take 15 minutes to put the new part in once it came in. I made an appointment and an hour after I arrived, they actually lifted my car up to work on it. 30 minutes after they lifted it up, they finally got the work done. Had I known it would take over an hour and a half rather than 15-20 minutes, I would have come in another time.

No changing tables in either the mens or womens restroom. Waiting area is devoid of toys etc. There is a small playroom with 1 chair for adults and it isnt within view of the waiting room.They did give us a good deal on tires, though. So theres that.
Amazing service!!! My husband and two kids and I were on a trip heading through idaho. We stopped for a quick bathroom break and when we got back in the car it began making a loud rumbling noise. Luckily we were near this dealership and pulled in. Even though they were just about closing, a mechanic went on a drive with my husband. They Immediately figured out what was wrong and fixed the problem, staying late to help us out and even went on another test drive afterwards to ensure the sound was gone. I couldn’t be more grateful. I highly recommend them!!!

When you are looking for the best deals in cars I would like it if you could tell me the best deals or specials you have online. I dont like that I would have to drive down to the dealership. It makes me mad when you dont have best prices on what Im looking for!!!!!! Post your deals like everyone else on their website and people will come and buy cars not just look at them.

This dealership was willing to put profit ahead of its customers safety/life. I was interested in buying a used Toyota 4Runner that Smith Honda had for sale. It was to be for my 19-year-old son. Before making a final decision regarding the 4Runner, I took the vehicle to a Toyota dealership to have it evaluated. After having it up on the lift for a short time, the mechanic showed me the undercarriage and frame. It was a rusty, rotten, dangerous mess. The frame couldve broken at any moment in a number of places. The mechanic called it a death trap and the worst I have ever seen. You may be inclined to think the Toyota mechanic was just being biased against Smith Honda, but I saw this disaster of a frame with my own eyes. Furthermore, the brakes were shot. The vehicle was also leaking engine oil from multiple locations. If this vehicle went through the Smith Honda evaluation process, as the salesman said it had, then they were knowingly going to take my money and then put my son in a vehicle that very easily could have killed him. And if it didnt go through the Smith Honda evaluation, they were negligent and lying. As for Smith Hondas response when I told them about danger associated with this 4Runner? The salesman simply replied, Okay. There was no apology, no indication that they would pull the 4Runner off the lot. Just Okay. I will NEVER do business with this dealership again.
Look up the Kelly blue book value before you buy a car (especially used cars) because they tend to be a little high. They are nice people but they also like to play games so beware. The service center has always been great.
I had a wonderful experience with Jason and Jared when our 2011 Odyssey ran into trouble on a major road trip (were from Maryland). They took care of the car the same day for me, and the final cost came in below the estimate. I highly recommend Smith Honda service.

DUMEST PEOPLE to work with. My husband went in for the oil change + the recall. Waited 3 HOURS. Just to find out from the guy who came and gave the key back that the car had been sitting in the parking lot with the key in it. The guy said he was done with his part 45 minutes. SO unless they spend 2 hours washing the car thats why why husband had to wait so long?? When I called to complain the guy who answered the call didnt seem to care. The first thing he said wasnt an apology. It was it was an accident. He said it was just a couple of minutes that they left the key in the car. First off, I NEVER leave the key IN in the car especially in an open parking lot. Like, can I trust you guys What if my stuff get stolen?? Theyre super NOT mindful people. You see someone waiting for 3 hours maybe you should ask them and find out where their car was?? Anyway, NOT doing any business with these guys again. I would give 0 star for this review if I could.
My salesman was johnny cook. And he was really nice, and not a pushy salesman. He knew the consumers do their research. And he was very pleasant when confirming all my information. I would highly recommend johnny cook to help you get your new car.. thank smith Honda.
Thorough service. Easy to communicate with. Emailed action plan and paper sent home after service were excellent education materials. The waiting area was clean and the waiting area for children was great. My 2 yr old enjoyed waiting. Would highly recommend to anyone for service and I will use them again.
