I had a great experience with Teton Volkswagen! I went in knowing EXACTLY which car I wanted. I just didnt have much credit history. Monty and Julio were great and were able to get me driving out in the car I came in for in about 2 hours. They were super awesome with making what I came with work and were very informative! I would absolutely come again and recommend and ABSOLUTELY appreciate all of the time and effort they put in to make it all happen.

Dealer seemed nice and knowledgeable and helpful over the phone and at first but that’s where it stopped. Asked for a shuttle as soon as I arrived 2 hours later no shuttle or loaner, tv in the waiting area didn’t have anything to watch besides the Roku app, air antenna would be helpful, they need at least 2 people at the service advisor desk at all times instead of one, got my car back late and got on the freeway back home and the tire pressure light came on, immediately pulled over to check and it showed 33-34 psi but the service document said all of my tires were at 35, a few days later I was leaving for a 1000 mile trip, checked my oil level and it was a half a quart low right after the oil change, oh one other nice thing was the snacks and water were stocked pretty decent

Nick was very helpful and not pushy! I really felt like I could trust everyone I interacted with throughout the process. I love my new SUV!

I went into this VW dealership as my TDI was having a few things that required attention/repair. I was extremely well taken care of by the service department, the communicated with me what the problem was and what would be fixed. I was in and out the same day. I interacted with some of the sales people and they were cordial and did not seem to be pushy. While I waited I also visited the parts department. Everyone I talked to was great and I had an overall great dealership experience!

We recently had a service done here and have since had a few issues. The servicing/oil change was not updated in the car’s system so it is still going off, the tire pressure system has been triggered, and there are grease marks on our light interior. See attached photo.

Recently had a car serviced here! The worst! If you are in Eastern Idaho and are looking at a Volkswagen buyer beware. Nobody to answer the phone and when they did no answers for the repair. Finally the car was finished $300 more than the original estimate. Stay away!

We have just begun our search for a new car for our family. Our first stop was Teton Volkswagen. We were greeted by Jesse Carrillo and he spent ample time showing us the cars we were there to see and answered all of our questions. We had questions about Toyota’s next door and he was kind enough to drive us over and help connect us with the sales manager at Teton Toyota and have questions answered there as well. Overall a very pleasant experience.

Purchased CPO VW at good price and received a fair to good trade-in price for my Lancer. No hassle and car was delivered clean with a full tank of fuel. Long wait to finance but that was beyond their control.

I’ve purchased a 2018 VW Tiguan brand new 2 years ago. I’ve had more problems with this vehicle than any other used or prepared vehicle I have ever purchased before. NEVER has any of the issues been covered under warranty. And the people there don’t even care. Each time I go in, rather than focusing on fixing the issue, they try to convince me to sell it back and start a new loan. I will never do business with Teton VW again.

Less than impressed by the service department, and Tom Warner the service manager. He’ll send you a nice auto generated email after, saying contact him direct with any questions or concerns. But if you do, it’s radio silence.I took my car in to diagnose an oil leak. First off they said my warranty was invalid as there were aftermarket modifications done to the car. This should only be partially true based on federal law. But I agreed to pay the $100 diagnostic fee to determine the severity of the leak (car has 17k miles).Their “master technician” incorrectly diagnosed the leak, quoted almost $400 for the repair. What they said the leak was coming from was a $2 seal that I replaced with the next oil change. Took the car into a independent shop as the car was still leaking, they diagnosed the leak as something else more invasive, but less expensive. I opted for their repair. Problem fixed.Upon asking the service manager clarifying questions on the warranty, and what good was paying $100 for diagnosing something that wasn’t the problem? Silence. Not even a return call when a message was left. Waste of my time and $100. But hey they had free coffee though.

Updated: We were initially overcharged $125 but they right sized it and refunded us the amount. It just took a bit and was a little difficult to communicate with them.

We purchased a 2021 VW Atlas from this place and the service was exceptional. 1. I ordered a part through Teton VW, and they said they would call me when it came in. They never did. I only found the part had arrived, cause I scheduled an appointment to get something else fixed.2. I scheduled service and ordered parts 2-3 weeks in advance. One part did not arrive on time.3. I took my car in, and one mechanic was out sick, so they could not do any work that I had scheduled.In short, their mechanics are great, but their customer service is awful.

Impressed with the car buying experience to say the least. I’ve been in several situations where dealers were not upfront, tried to push their own agendas, jacked up the price at the very end with hidden fees, and were just annoying. We worked with Michael, who definitely had our best interest in mind. He wasn’t desperate, he was knowledgeable, and very confident. Met management, very kind people. Michael answered all of our questions (a ton). We almost closed on a car we weren’t 100% on and he helped us find something else that fit what we wanted better. Everyone took time to listen. Everyone was kind. Everyone was working for us. It’s a wonderful, honest environment. We went to about 10 dealers in this process, and in the end, came back to this one because of the integrity. They also are upfront on their prices. No hidden fees- just your taxes and doc fee. Definitely would recommend to anyone. Can’t say enough good.

I just bought my 2nd car from Teton Volkswagen. This is such a great business. They treat you very well. They answer all your questions and make sure you know about all the options that are available. I have no hesitations recommending them to all my friends and family because I know they will be taken care of.

The Teton VW service department has always been very professional, efficient, and courteous in my dealings with them. I know that my vehicles are in very good hands when I bring them to Teton VW for service.

For about six months before I started grad school, I worked at a high volume, family-owned car dealership. I learned the trade well and was successful enough to save thousands to help with graduate costs. That dealership worked really hard to be honest, organized, and to sell ethically. I mention all that because I approached Teton VW with a clear understanding of how the sales process works, and I could tell from the first experience that they were organized, not high-pressure, and courteous. Our total process before buying spanned a couple months, but our salesperson (Michael P.) and the sales management were always helpful and respectful of our time, finances, and where we were in our process. I wont go into a million details and will sufficiently say that it was as good an experience as youre likely to find anywhere. Fortunately, there also wasnt a lot of high pressure sales offers in the finance room. The price for the car was excellent. We leased and our options were great.

Very friendly but a little upset on them trying to get more money out of me. I’m a mechanic but bought a vehicle from them 3 years ago wich oil changes were free for 3 years. My last free oil change they came back and said I had a pretty severe transmission leak wich would be 100 dollars to look at. I declined because I could go home and put it on the lift. Did that after a week of driving around just in case they cleaned the oil up and not one drop of fluid was around the pan or transmission or anywhere. Pretty disappointed that they would give me false info to try and get more money. I bet this happens all the time and very few people have access or the knowledge to check it on their own.

Absolutely amazing and friendly staff. They do have some deals from time to time and are always willing to give you what you want and need.

I know this is a late review but sometimes people forget to review their good experiences and only think to review the bad.Teton VW is wonderful. Thane was our sales guy (he is now the service manager) and he was so fun and personable (vw should give him a raise. Seriously!). We got our first vw ever from Thane and it has converted us to a vw family now! Even the new sales guy Thane sent us to (can’t remember his name) is so fun and light hearted. I can’t recommend teton vw enough!

Thane was very nice. Other than that I’ve been lied to. Been charged twice on two different occasions from what I already knew. Done what the service tech recommended. Then another sevice tech stated he would of never said that. So I get different stories wastes my time and my money for changing parts etc. then they say it’s Illegal for what I did but was told to try it in the first place. They can’t even get the parts. So forced to try to fix yourself and then go back and get diagnosed again so they can charge you over and over again. Also it’s a four hour drive back and forth everytime this has happened. So forced to put in complaints in how I’ve been treated.

The Service Department at Teton Volkswagen in Idaho Falls is excellent in many ways. They take time to explain details of the work they are going to do, in a respectful way. They were kind in giving me a ride to and from another appointment, while they did the car work. I think they do good service and getting it right the first time.
