As a person from out town and passing through, I have to say this game store exceeded my expectations. The owners treat you like family, and they offers reasonable prices for their merchandise. This is a game store I will gladly support and would recommend to anyone passing through the KC area.

This place is amazing. Has everything youd need or want and has constant inventory change. The owner is an amazing guy. Friendly, knows what hes talking about and just down to earth.

This place is awesome. He has so many NES games that Id never heard of. His Atari 2600 collection was pretty much what Id expected, but I did find ONE game that I needed (fairly common). Its definitely worth the drive, if youre in the area.

Attention female gamers avoid this place at all costs if you have any ounce of self-respect. I tried to purge my collection and sell a mix of 49 video games. Which included Nintendo 64, game cube, game boy, and game boy advance games. Some of which were Pokémon, donkey Kong, and Mario games. I was offered a measly $120 for my collection. While I was in the store I was listening off some of my game and they were offering eight dollars apiece for some of them so I’m really curious what happened there. Because as soon as I made it home I sent pictures of all of my games and received my terrible offer via text so looks like I have all the receipts. I am certain that the owner and his employees thought that just because I’m a female they can take advantage of me. Their explanation was that they have too much inventory. I was very upfront that I didn’t need to sell my entire collection and I was willing just sell parts of it. I highly doubt that I will ever support this business again and I will strongly recommend that all of my friends avoid this place going forward.

Great and friendly knowledgeable Owner and Partner. Really went above and beyond to answer questions and provide the items I wanted. This store has it all from Vintage games and consloes all the way to Vintage and Modern toys and comics and anything inbetween brought to you by Lost Chance Pop Culture Collectibles which the owner is pretty cool too.

Sadly they didnt have what they were looking for, but you cant fault them for people buying all their stock. They game so many interesting things to buy and the owner seems like such a nice guy. Id be here so often if only it were closer

Very crowded and piled with stuff everywhere was hard to move through the store. Was barely greeted by store staff. Store wasnt very clean tons of wish packages all over the floor behind the counter.

Wonderful! I’ve been here a few times and nearly bought something, but today my girlfriend and I decided we should buy a ps2 and a few games! We had some issues with it, but the man working there took initiative and exchanged it for a completely working one then threw in a copy of Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex on the house! Great place and people, I’ll definitely come back!

I feel like if you were born before 1990 this is the place for you. They have Sega, Nintendo 64, game cube, PlayStation, Xbox, and everything else under the sun. They also have comics and collectibles that will take you back to your child hood. Its nice to see somewhere like this in Independence.

Came here at 2:30 on a Thursday and they are closed but the open sign is on. It took a 20 minute drive to get here, so Im a little annoyed.EDIT: I adjusted the score to 4 stars because I dont want to ding their score over something that may be covid-related.

This place has everything from Atari age to modern xbox one, ps4 and everything in between. If you need a cable check here before you go to Amazon cause they have it and its probably cheaper. Theres to much to list old toys, collectables, vinyl, you name it theyve got it and if they dont they will find it. Support local businesses like this before going to gamestop or vintage stock they will remember you and take care of you unlike the other big retail chains.
