The owner and his wife are con artists at this business because I did not give them any service they took something from my system and didn’t return it. All negative reviews on here are true don’t believe anything the owner replies to you he’s lying he will take stuff out of your system replace it with junk. I believe all his merchandise it’s probably stolen and he covers it up like parts and skins on game systems that’s not even his he’s short hot tempered he’s hung up on me several times and he puts lies for responses. I called police they won’t do anything because it will be a civil dispute so you bring in your equipment you may not get it back you’ll get the wrong equipment and you’ll never see it again not worth going to court over that’s what they figure do not shop or bring your equipment here

Repaired hdmi ports on 2 different Xbox’s for me same day, for a better price than everywhere else without the wait.

I came in earlier today after calling all over the place and the owner simply asked me what was going on with it and I just needed it cleaned. PlayStation 4 had not been cleaned since it has been bought or even taken apart he did it within 10 minutes in and out and he did an amazing job! other people came in and Hes straight up with you which is awesome. (REPORTED TO BBB) Decent first interaction besides the dry and short character of the business owner (Phillip Guthrie) unfortunately our PS4 did not seem to turn on after plugging it in and performing the update the system usually asks for. Luckily the business has a 7 day warranty which is quite reasonable but upon attempting to act on said warranty, the business owner was once again dry, short and quite rude when presented the console to him. He insisted the console was not his due to the removal of the seal in the back of the console which my younger brother ripped off in an attempt to look into the issue. The business owner did not even attempt to fix or replace after his faulty product did not work. The main issue is the subpar customer service and the unwillingness to uphold the promised warranty which had no guidelines besides the promise to fix or trade if the console did not work.I have reported this business to the BBB and will leave the link here for anyone else needing to do so as well. I reported due to bad customer service, failure to honor warranty and copyright infringements for using the likeliness of NFL and Kansas City Chiefs imagery.

He gets you in and out in minutes. He replaced a fan for my PS4. It runs better than it ever could.

Purchased an xbox one x from a guy and got it home to find out it did not work at all. Called several other repair places and they told me it was the motherboard and that it was going to cost more then a new one to fix. Took it to Platinum Repair and surprise! Not the motherboard at all but just a fried hard drive. Fixed it the same day and it was so much cheaper then buying a new one! I even called other repair places to see how much a hard drive would be to replace. Best price by far and the level of professionalism is something they deserve to be commended on. Been a customer of your for 3 years. But as of lately service seems to have gone down hill. Have brought in 4 ps4 consoles for repairs in the past few weeks. First 1 hdmi need fixed was quoted one price on the phone. Then go there the lady at the counter quoted me a price of 35 more than you had told me over the phone. You did correct it and unfortunately could not fix that ps4. Second done again hdmi. Called you and you said you take a look at it. Got to store and lady again at counter looked it over and just said the price to fix of update blueray drive and hdmi. Never was even given the chance to let you look it over. Then today figerd I give it one more try. Brought in two to be looked at one has working hdmi but only if it put in just at 5he right angle. Was hoping you could look at it but nope she just said a price of 75 to fix it. Told her online it said for regular ps4 it says 60. She argued no that wrong it always been 75. Told her i can show you the site price of 60. Then she said well that been changed and should be taken off the web site the repair cost is now 75. 4 th ps4 is a slim the disk drive not spinning the disk said price of a new 0ne was 85. I told her I can get a new one from the web for less than that. Anyway long story short I can no longer be a costumer with service like that. Think your a very honest man but with the lady handling guest service you are sure to be loosing more long time customers as in my case. Honestly saddens me to have to post this but if no 1 speaks up nothing will change. Did not ask for or expect any for free. Took the System to another shop as I tryed to explain to your front desk lady All the hdmi drive needed was to be looked at as it worked but not all the time. Other shop tightened it up charged 20 dollars to do so. And they are fixing the other System I took in for the disk drive as well. To have a non teck person just give you a base price with out looking to see what the real problem is not the way to run a business. You used to do this and not just scam a person say it be this price. Why you had my business for 3 years. But ya totally understand times are hard. Who cares if it a lose wire or what not go ahead and charge a person full price for a 5 min fix simple fix. Also you should not say on the phone bring it in Ill look at it if you are not going to do so. Just have the front desk say a price with out teck looking at it.

Went in to have my PS4 Pro cleaned because it was overheating and sounding like a jet engine. The gentlemen disassembled the whole console, cleaned out the vent, and reassembled all within 30 minutes, right there in front of me. Very impressed with the service. Console works great now and is practically brand new again.

Owner kept harrassing me by texting and calling my number after hanging up on me. I left a review and he continued to call and text me. I blocked his number. Bad business practices.Edit: wow this guy is either sensitive or something else. Every review that isnt 5stars gets some rude remark or back talk. Just take it constructively. Thats not how you deal with customers. This place either needs to be seen by the BBB or get shut down

Outstanding customer service especially during COVID. Fast, friendly assistance.Took my broken xbox in for evaluation, and they were able to swap the hard drive the same day. They cleaned it down with Clorox wipes at the end of the maintenance to kill off any COVID that might have touched it.Very reasonable repair cost as well. I went in expecting to pay $300 for a refurb xbox, and left paying way less to repair my existing one.

I took my ps4 in for a unrecognized disc issue he thought it might be a laser issue turned out it needed a mother board the gentleman worked on my ps4 for probably 30 mins was very honest and professional didnt charge a dime for his hard work Im so appreciative that there is a place near me that is honest and skilled and not just out to take peoples money

Sent my ps4 pro in for repair to get the hdmi port replaced was told it was the port and a chip on the board but they could fix it and that it’d be 180 to do so but they gave me a completely different ps4 pro and tried to pass it off as the original. Basically they resold a system they already had. Lost all of my save data and games and on top of that the system they gave me is loud like its overheating

I had a chip go bad in my Xbox one they fixed it for 100 bucks and in less than an hour.

Took my broken PS4 in there and 15 minutes later it was fixed.

I bought an Xbox for $250.00. I first did not get the power box to plug up with. I had to go all the way back and get one because I was given the wrong cord. Then found out the controller did not work correctly. I had to take it back. Then it was replaced with either the same one or another defected one. I am VERY upset about this and will not recommend anyone else to this business and I will NEVER be back again.

Once it had an issue with the disk drive bit Phil took a look at it and got it back up and running. We took our daughters PS4 to a couple of different places after it stopped working, and both people that looked at it said the data was lost and the PS4 was fried. We thought we would try one more place, and Platinum Repairs fixed the old PS4, and was able to transfer ALL the data to the new one. I highly recommend them. My PS4 needed a part replaced and I was in and out in no time! Only took about 10 minutes! The system has been perfect since then and my kids were very happy. I called lots of other places in town and everyone quoted me a much higher price than what I paid at Platinum Repair. The other places also said it would take at least a day or 2 on top of the higher prices for the same repair. I highly recommend this place to anyone! I would definitely go back and do business with them again.

Bought a computer from here and it started having problems. Owner fixed it, although that didnt fix the issue. So he replaced the computer with a newer model no charge. Even though there was some issues in the beginning, it was handled well!

Bought an Xbox One S here after seeing it listed on Craigslist for a fair price. I was warmly greeted by Phillip who has run the place with his wife for 7 years. He was kind and helpful, and he responded quickly to my phonecalls earlier in the day. The store had current generation gaming consoles, laptops, monitors, and games from the last 2 generations for sale, among a few other items. My purchase included a 14 day warranty. He plugged the machine into a TV to show me that it was working then wrapped it with cords and controller together in plastic. The shop didn’t have change when I went, so I had to run to the gas station next door to get smaller bills.

Friendly and courteous staff. Always helpful from the time you enter the store until the time you walk out the door.

Rosalind Malone Guthrie, is very unprofessional and rude online. I would not recommend this business to anyone. Its very clear they do not know what they are doing and just resellars with no care in the world. Guess she thought the business could not be tracked down. This will be on Google reviews and Yelp too. Roslind learn some customer service skills, because you do not have them..... There are way better and cheaper computer places to get nicer stuff at.
