We had a wonderful experience purchasing our new vehicle. I spoke with one of the managers, Chloe,prior to coming in person and she was very friendly and helpful. Our sales person, Mark, was a great listener, didn’t pressure us, and was happy to help in any way. The finance manager, Bryan, provided detailed explanations and made sure that our purchase worked with our budget. The entire team made the process easy and enjoyable. We will definitely be returning to this location for any future purchases!

So, I wasnt even thinking about a newer car. I was on the website just browsing, trying to learn about the Mazda cars, as my daughter purchased a BEAUTIFUL 2018 Mazda 3 that looked as new as the 2021 Mazda 3s on the lot at Ray Skillman Westside Mazda. I saw a gray 2015 Toyota Avalon with 54, 500 miles on it and it looked amazing. The sales price was fair and I (kinda impulsively) bought it. New Toyota Avalon XLEs can cost over $40k and the payments can be more than mortgage or rent. This car is gently used, amazingly comfortable, still has a couple years warranty and my payment is manageable and fair.I want to shout out to Grayson, my sales associate and Mike in Financing for making my experience a simple one and for the help in Financing. This whole experience has been wonderful and I have the car of my dreams.

After my car was towed into the dealerships service area I received a call from Chris. He explained that it had arrived but since they were swamped with work there was no promise of when its problem could be diagnosed. No problem! I was just glad it reached their location. In a few hours I received a call back. A window of opportunity opened & they squeezed me in, found the issue and resolution was in process. My car was ready for pickup same day! The Ray Skillman West service team took great care of me & my vehicle.

Buying a car is never a bad experience, HOWEVER anything else is a major headache. Any time I call about service or getting answers to an issue, it doesn’t happen. Twice in a week now, I have had 2 appointments to get my windshield repaired (it’s included with the extra care package I bought at closing) and the first time I was called back after an hour and told glass repairs only happen on Thursdays but my online appointment that I specified was a glass repair was never read; he literally said “yea we don’t really go through online appointments like that.” I asked how I would know glass repairs are Thursdays only and didn’t know. I rescheduled for today, a Thursday, he told me to drop it at 8 so it could be done first and done by lunch for us to leave town. I called at 1 pm and they said the glass man hadn’t even come yet. I’m so tired of paying for cars here to have so much trouble getting them serviced.

I could not give the dealership a perfect score just because I bought a Hyundai Tucson on Saturday and had to return it Monday for repairs. I appreciate the fact that Mr. Hannel listened to my concerns and acted on them right away. He made sure I was up to date within the process. The service was speedy and he even made sure I had a pretty nice loner while I wait. I would definitely recommend this dealership to others.

I scheduled an appointment for a recall repair weeks in advance. On the day of my appointment, after waiting for over 1.5 hours, they told me they didnt have the part in stock and needed to order it. It took another 20 minutes for them to close out my paperwork and return my keys. I will have to take the car back in again when the part arrives.UPDATE: The service department followed up with me to address the issue, and was receptive to feedback. I appreciate that. For that reason, Ive changed my rating from one star to three.

I delt with Andrew Ransom at the Mitsubishi store and Ive never had a better experience buying a car. It was a super short and easy process. He asked me what I was looking for and he matched me up with the perfect car in my price range which we discussed that it is very big for me. I was in and out within 2 hours! I couldnt imagine going anywhere else to purchase a vehicle! The employees from the Westside Auto Mall always go above and beyond to get my business. I was on the hunt for a specific type of vehicle which they didnt readily have available, but went out of their way to find me exactly what I wanted. I am more than thrilled to start my new adventure with my new-to-me vehicle! Not only was my sales consultant, Henry Velasquez, and rest of the employees great, they also had me in and out and on my way within a few hours.

I love this place. They are always so nice and take care of any need I have and some that I didnt know I have like recalls on my car. The wait room is always clean and comfortable. This is a really good team of people and I trust always that my car is well taken care of!!

I had a HORRIBLE experience working with Eric Swihart. He did not respond to any of my emails about submitting a Supplement Request Form to the appraiser company so I could get my 2017 Hyundai Tucson repaired. After two months of going back and forth with my insurance company and this Hyundai Service Center, I closed my insurance claim and sought other options to get my vehicle repaired. I DO NOT recommend this service center if you need repairs done that require an insurance claim. They are not responsive, and the General Manager, Terry, was not helpful.

Over the many years of buying cars this was by far the best experience Ive had. Many sales or finance reps either talk down to you, are pushy or just insincere. I found none of that at this dealership. Everyone I dealt with was friendly, very helpful, and personable. I had to buy a car out of state due to lack of inventory and David was very friendly and set me up without any hassle. He was very responsive to requests. I had a very tight window to get the sale done, but no issues what so ever. I worked with Scott to close the deal and again very friendly and even went over the car twice to check for any issues before delivery. Car was in great shape and no huge dealership over charges or add-ons. Better service at a cheaper price, cant beat that. Thanks.

Bought a car and found out the next day there was a service issue that was not disclosed. Instead of doing the right thing and fixing the issue (less than $200 cost to the dealership, $500 retail) they leaned on the As-is conditional agreement of the sale. Bad customer service, and a shady way to do business. BEWARE!

I brought my Hyundai to Skillman to have the engine replaced. . . Worked directly with the service manager and things were good. . It was an unfortunate event because another mechanic facility had caused my wrist pins to fail, so I thought that I could trust Skillman to do the repairs (considering Ive worked with them for years for parts orders and services). . . Long story short, Skillman put an engine in my Hyundai and I just brought it home to look it over. Parts on my car are broken that werent broken before. I have a coolant leak now that wasnt like that when I dropped it off. My upper tie bar has been damaged and it looks like they tried repairing it but didnt do it properly or hide the fact. My cowl panel is broken along with the access panel to it. My frame rail is damaged. Paint is scratched. Special panoramic sun roof sunshade has grease on it. My firewall now has a dent in it and the under coating is broken to bare metal. And my AC line is pinched after they said they replaced it because they damaged it the first time. . . I dont even know if theres anything else damaged behind the engine or even it in. Lets not even begin with how I was treated when I picked up my car today. . . I walked in, and talked with a female and she was happy to help while her male colleagues had a conversation around us and then butted into our conversation. I told them I was there to pick up my car and the older man said you can get it, it should be right behind the gate . . Um, I dont care if I work at a rival shop or not. . A. I dont know what you mean by behind the gate or where its at. I shouldnt have to look for my own vehicle on YOUR LOT. B. Customers shouldnt just be allowed behind YOUR PRIVATE GATE. How do I know if my car wasnt tampered with by another customer? C. Im still a customer. Your customer. And you will have to deal with me again. You shouldnt be rude. D. My car wasnt even clean or offered to be clean. . . Do you guys always repair cars to customers and leave them dirty? Dont you have detailers for that? Im very livid about my experience at Ray Skillman. Especially since the tech/mechanic thought that I was just going to be a stupid girl and not realize the damage done to my car. The only reason why I give this place any stars is because of the service manager. Shes a damn good service manager and Ive enjoyed working with her. However, I will now have to bring my car back and be without a car AGAIN. Because of somebody elses mess up.

I have had nothing but great experiences with their service department, where I bring my Kia Soul for all its standard service as well as needed repairs. Their lobby is comfortable and spacious, and in non-pandemic times, they have great cookies!

I was desperately in need of a car and came to your shop, you charged me $2000 for a pos that I have had in the garage every week since. You knew my desperation and took advantage of me telling me I only needed the muffler and brakes fixed. Jonny Munch was the salesperson I worked with after the deal was sealed, and Tim was the finance guy.
