Bought a $1400 Roll n Lock bed cover and they said it came with free installation. I showed up for my appointment and they didn’t even have the bed cover nor the decency to call me in advance! The front office guys laughed and said it was the managers fault who is on vacation! Anyway, when I did manage to come in for the install, 3 1/2 hours of labor later, the cover wouldn’t open and the tailgate wouldn’t shut! They had the nerve to tell me that the bed cover would break in overtime and that the cover wasn’t touching the tailgate so it couldn’t be from the cover! This install was on a 1 month old truck that I had ordered! Again no manger! Before I left, I asked if this was the way you wanted to let my truck leave your shop and the same guy just turned his back! I fixed it in 5 min by loosening the bolts and aligning the bed cover rails Brick and motor stores are in big trouble when they can’t even provide customer service! Unfortunately for them I will choose to buy all my future upgrades elsewhere! I’m thankful I didn’t let them up sell their extended warranty!
Had 2 bumpers and a winch installed on my Jeep. They added on a warranty and parts without calling and verifying if it was OK to do so. Dropped off vehicle at 9:00 a.m. And it took them 8 hours to do. At the end I noticed my bill was more than what I was expecting. And they would not deal with it at the time period They wanted to leave for the day. Ended up having to have my husband call the company and tell them what happened and we ended up getting a refund but not enough. They are not a very fair store to do any business with.
I am and have been having the worst headache when dealing with 4wp. Customer service is the worst here. After being hung up on three times in the beginning when trying to do an exchange of parts I made the mistake of doing a exchange where I had to put more money down to have them order parts that came almost two weeks later. I’d rather deal with another company at this point. It’s sad to say I’m not happy with my experience.-Update - 8/21New order of shocks still do not fit. National call center is closed early on a Saturday.I will be making another 45min trip up north to fully return both front and rear sets of shocks I bought. I will be taking my business elsewhere. I am not at all happy with the business I’ve gotten from 4WP.I was hoping for such a better experience.

Update: I had an additional old gift card which required updating from their regional manager. The sales associate who sold me the winch is no longer there so Ken (manager) and staff were unaware. Spoke to Ken, he updated my additional gift card immediately and I picked up my winch.Will say that Tad and Ken have great customer service skills, which seemed to be missing from prior associate. Glad this 4WP is moving in the right direction!--Dont call you back. Went there three weeks ago to order a winch, paid 50% deposit while they sort out a gift card. Ive called two times since. Still waiting. Theyve never called me. Each time I call they say theyre doing the same thing they said the first time to sort out the gift card. Once I get this resolved, will never spend another $ there. Do not recommend. I have to give 1 star to post, should give 0.
On my first visit I walked around the store for probably 15 minutes.. no other customers but the three employees didnt even acknowledge I was there... I went elsewhere
Purchased a tonneau cover for my truck at this location. Very disappointing experience to say at the least. I needed a tonneau cover within within 5 to 10 days, which I specified at the very beginning. Additionally, I emphasized that my budget would allow a more expensive model if the availability could meet my requested timeline. The associate was able to locate a tonneau cover at a nearby store in St. Louis, Mo. I was told it should ship around five bussiness to the Indy store. Unfortunately, it took 28 days for the tonneau cover to actually make it to the Indy location. My advice, spend your money elsewhere. This Indy location will not get my bussiness in the future.
These people do great work very impressed and the price was very reasonable hope to continue doing business in the future communication was not the greatest but they totally deserve five stars.
Nice place but customer service really poor I went there to get a window tint on my truck and they say they dont do window tint website said they do I drive 45 min to that place (kinda my fault I should call fist to verify I know) but they should fix website too very disappointed
Ordered Best Top ultra for a JL on May 17th. 4wp did not indicate on back order. On July 1st, After 45 days of waiting and 3 calls to find out delivery, nothing. Cancelled order on July 1st. July 14th still no refund. This is a $2.2k charge with no indication from company besides “the order shows cancelled and refund is processing” I will never buy from here again and I’ll make sure nobody I know does either. I’ve had better service from Chinese scam companies. After reading all of the reviews, I find it hard to believe that this company is still in business. There are much better places to do business with. I ordered the top from a competitor on July 1st, when I cancelled the 4 wheel parts order and it’s scheduled for delivery tomorrow July 15th.
Dealt with Michael in Indianapolis. He was very helpful in finding a kit to fit our desires. I live almost an hour from the location. By chance Micheal was close amd offered to meet me with the kit to save me a return trip to store. No complaints arrived when I was told. Above and beyond customer service. I will return for future needs.
Not a fan, after 2 and a half weeks of waiting on my 8 dollars in replacement parts I still haven’t gotten them so my Jeep has been down for that long when I only expected it to be down for a week at most. To add to that when I call half the time they don’t pick up during their open hours or they tell me they are coming and never tell me an expected date for when they will arrive. Their explanation is that the truck my part was supposed to be on was sent out wrong. 1 week later I call back and they tell me my parts are on their way and the truck is in the Midwest but how is the truck taking a week and a half to get to their location if it was already in the midwest? I expected better

I have an older vehicle that requires camber shims to align correctly. I went in for wheels and tires and an alignment and specifically mentioned this to the salesman. He said they could do it. Fast forward to checking out, they tell me they cant do the camber adjustment of my alignment because they dont have shims. They still thought it was fair to charge for an alignment at a small discount when the job was not done.The guys were very friendly, but it didnt feel great to have that sprung on me after the fact and still to be charged for an incomplete alignment.
Worst customer service ever. I spent over $5,500 and waited 2 months for parts. I called them over 4 times and always the same answer. We will call tomorrow to let you know and they never called. Last week I got tired of the games so I went there and canceled the order. I wont recommend that place to anyone.

Tad went the extra mile to help me out. I was in a bind away from my home town. My old bed cover got destroyed in the wind. It took some extra researching and measuring on Tad’s part but he was able find me an affordable option that would work and was in stock.
I made an appointment to have my new tires installed. Turned out I had a bad wheel. My wheels were so old they couldnt be matched. Ken helped me select a Pro Comp wheel and they even priced matched it after I had ordered them. Good service. Nice people to deal with. No complaints from me.
Went for four tires. Ordered on December 20th, 2020, today February 11th, 2021 I pray I am done with them. Mounted bad tires, truck shook violently, they did an alignment had to take elsewhere to fix. They forgot to schedule my appointment, asked if I would mind doing it another day. Today they mounted the warranty tires, broke a TPMS, replaced it, couldnt program it, over 3 hours waiting. I just pray these are right. Do yourself a favor, stay away, far away. If zero stars was an option......
I cant say enough about the excellent customer service they provide. You just dont find companies that are willing to go above and beyond like these guys do. Whatever issues they may have had previously are now a thing of the past. Theyre under new management and have knocked it out of the park with all of my dealings with them so far! If you need anything for off-road, these are the guys to go to!

Ordered tires for my truck. Delivery company refused to deliver. The tires got returned to the company and for the last 3 weeks i been getting the run around for my 2700 refund. Have called multiple times and they seem helpful except for the fact i still have not gotten a refund . Paypal hasnt gotten a response at all from them . I would never spend my money here again!
Wasnt impressed with them, on the website 360 view it makes the store look 5 times bigger then what it is, and they didnt have anything we wanted to buy.... no we can order it they say the only problem is we live 2 hours away.
TERRIBLE customer service! I will NEVER buy from again. I bought wheels/tires. After 10 days and they still hadn’t shipped I tried emailing and asking about my order. No response. I tried calling several times with no answer. As soon as I called as if I was placing an order someone answered. They told me my wheels were on back order and it would be weeks. I wish they would have showed that on there web site.I changed my order and my new wheels/tires were cheaper, BUT they still charged me full price and they won’t give me my refund! 4Wheel parts is TERRIBLE!

I love my new shocks, they definitely have made a difference on ride quality. On the other side of this review was the terrible customer service from 4WP employees during my order. Taking 2 weeks to arrive when the website said 3 to 5 business days. Getting a call back about the wrong part order for confirmation, to the lying of when my parts would be in multiple times, to the run around on followup, to not even getting a call that my shocks arrived. Even after speaking to a manager with 4WP and no follow up afterwards, I will not be doing anymore business with 4WP. They do have great deals on parts, but that is about it.
I have found after spending thousands of dollars (upwards of 15k) on two Jeep Wranglers and a Z71, the only time this store will work in your behalf is when you are spending money. I read about this guy Adam I am glad you had success with him, he did nothing but mislead my wife and I, wasting countless hours and trips to their north side store. (We live south) He placed orders for the wrong Jeep twice, my wifes Amp Research Power Steps do not work, its kind of difficult for her to get into her Jeep that they lifted when the steps do not work. While I was there doing my very best understand that stuff happens, all I did was hear him apologize time after time for ordering the incorrect parts etc. Again, as long as I am buying 3 different sets of 22 wheels and Nitto Tires, lift kits etc, I am good but when it comes to supporting defective products that have a lifetime warranty, NO timely return calls, emails that say, I meant to call you etc. I am terribly disappointed. They lost their good manager when Brinks opened a store in Cincinnati. Heres the deal, I am not done, I am not going to go away. They will fix my wifes Jeep, sooner or later. I am currently talking to their Corp. Didnt call me when my shocks came in for warranty work. I called and scheduled a time to bring my jeep in...drove 30 minutes there to find out they failed to put me in the schedule. They wanted me to leave my jeep. Will not use them for parts or service ever.

I ordered a bakflip cover and didnt get the hardware to mount it in my truck. So I contacted them 3 times to get it straightened out but no one would call me back. So I contacted bakflip myself and they sent everything next day. I would give them less stars but it doesnt have negative stars

I drove to their store on 6/24/2020 and it took me 40min. When I got there I wanted to purchase a tire carrier for my jk. The guy working the counter said that they have a sell on it. I asked the guy how long it would be if I ordered it and he said a few days. I called them today and said when will I get the stuff I ordered. The guy on phone told me that it is on back order. I said to him I wouldn’t have ordered it if it was out of stock. I asked for a refund and the guy said that his system was messing up and he would call me back. I waited an hour and no call so I called back and told them refund my money he then transferred me to the manager to refund me. Don’t go to this store I didn’t even get an apology or anything. Also, the guy didn’t even have the decency to list my car correctly on the invoice. He put that I drive Acura MDX. I drive a Jeep jk and I told him that. That just goes to tell you that the only thing they care about is a sell and they tell whatever you want to hear.
Super helpful staff! I just came in for a Hi Lift jack as this was one of the only places that stocks the real ones! Price was great, he explained the differences in models very well, and even gave my daughter a balloon. Cool store!
I had ordered a bestop trektop nx glide from the from 4 Wheel Parts for my Jeep Wrangler jku. I had added ( and paid for) the rush option on the order to expedite. 5 days later the response to my status request was an email stating the preset is in process and when the status changes they will let me know. While disappointing they aren’t living up to the promise so far This isn’t even the complete reason for the bad review.I had originally tried to order the top from my local store about 5 miles away, support local businesses and all. After reviewing the products online 4wp wasn’t the cheapest but they were in the ballpark. Online at this time they were also offering 75% off installation. Installation was quoted at 2 hours at 135/hr to install the top. So online the quote was for 1149.00 and 10% for an extended warranty for the top (1149+114.90= 1298.90] and and the discounted installation and tax. Shipping was free, the top was listed as in stock and delivered in 5-8 days. In The quote from the store the extended warranty was INCREASED to 15.6% for 179 and they wouldn’t discount the installation. Bringing the total to over 1700. And the biggest kicker was a charge of $20 was added for cleaner/lube. Looking at the numbers I could understand why they added the lubeSo I decided to just order it with a rush shipment, drop the installation since I didn’t have any confidence in the local store, and install it myself, they aren’t very hard to install. So I went ahead and placed the order on 4wheelparts.com and here I am over a week later waiting for an I stock part to ship. If I don’t get a response today within a few hours I’ll just cancel the order and get it from somewhere else.I get it there is a lot going on but don’t take money for rush processing and then don’t do it. And don’t have bad practices like gouging at the local stores.
In short: pretty terrible purchasing experience, but my jeep rides INCREDIBLE.Long version: i purchased a teraflex long arm lift, which requires a lot of modifications (unfortunately some expensive ones that were unforeseen) i was told 4 days, but once it slips past the designated time slot other jobs are coming in and its harder for them to get to, so it turned into 4 weeks. I felt like I had to call a lot to know what was going on. But other than that, (which was rough) they are nice guys that try really hard to only do it the right way and not just get it out the door. 4 weeks (which a lot was shipping new parts) was a little long, but better than the alternative. They ended up dumping probably 3 times the amount of estimated time into it, and an additional $1500 or more in parts, but got me out the door only $800 (10%) over the estimate. That showed me they really didnt want to screw me over, and I feel they honestly took a bigger hit than I did to make me happy. And like I said, the Jeep is awesome. Its a four-link rear (which is very tricky to get the geometry setup correctly) and they nailed it. Id trust them to build another jeep in a minute. Just dont be surprised by delays on a complicated build. Id say the possibility of the complications should have been a expressed a little more upfront.

Ive been dealing with four wheel parts for several years, they have very competitive prices which is why I go back. The positive stops there. I recently put a deposit down on tires which did not come in when they were supposed to. I waited for several days and called. Store manager could not tell me when they would be in or how much they were going to cost (was promised a sale price during their most recent sale but not told what it was). I wait another week.... No word. I call back again to find out my tires had been in the store for two days. I ask what the price would be. I was told they could do half off mount and balance. I was already told by the manager mount and balance was free!!! Let alone the sale price I was going to be given. I am done. This was the most pathetic display of customer service and organization I have experienced. If youre going to buy thousands of dollars in parts, maybe you will have a better experience.
Dropped of my vehicle on a Thursday at 1pm for them to do a diagnostic when they had free time. It is not Friday at 2pm and it was looked at but they are still “building a quote” for something they looked at yesterday. I called to see what was going on to be told we’ll call you back. That was 2 hours ago. This store needs to work on communication and follow up.
Overall pleased with the work they did. They replaced the shocks on my truck and seemed knowledgeable enough to ask some of the right questions. Their pricing for alignments is on the high side, so I may be taking my truck elsewhere for that in the future, but overall pleased with my first experience there.

I ordered a icon suspension system through there are online websites ( wishing I would’ve had them install it as well. ) Also had the Indianapolis store install new Procomp rims the guys in shop we’re very knowledgeable and made my visit very pleasant and and quick I will definitely have them do more installations on my 2004 4runner in the future 👍💪🏼😁.
Do not take your vehicle to this company. They will have you sign stuff that will void any warranty. They ruined the whole front end of my jeep because of a poor installation of a stabilizer bar. The brackets were off 1/4. Make sure you dont end up paying more later because they dont know what they are doing.

Long wait in line but worth the trip
If you have a wrangler that you want to make into a mall crawler this is the place to go. I was told they could install an arb bumper if i ordered it from them. i told them that for my truck they would have to cut my frame rails back 1 and weld the plates back on. sure no problem they said as they collected my CC info. a week later my bumper comes in and they tell me they dont weld. their solution was i can not get the bumper and pay a 25% re-stocking fee. thanks 4wp so i can give you 300$ to not get my bumper that you promised you could install. sorry im getting a winch to use im getting a bumper to use. if its just bolted on i could look cool on my way to the mall. If i ever need to use my bumper for off roading it needs to be welded. Again thanks for nothing. If i ever get a 4x4 to drive around town maybe your store will work. in short they will lie to you in order to make a sale and when you cant use what they sell you you get to pay them 25%.

I try to by from stores instead of using online stores. I went to the new store in indy to buy shocks for my truck. They had just the fronts. They were going to have to order the rears from another store. The salesman told me they should be here buy Wednesday shipped to my house. Well here it is a week later and still no shocks. I called and now they are saying they will be here this coming Tuesday. I am not to happy about this. I could have ordered the same shocks from Amazon and had them within 4 days. I am never going to shop here again. I will use Amazon. At least I will have my parts in less than a week. Hell they didnt offer any kind of discount since it was taking to long. And people wonder why online shopping is taking over and putting stores out of business.
Had just purchased a new F-150. Had cash burning a hole in my pocket to add accessories to it. The store seems great for JEEP customers. They have some stuff for other trucks, but not near the volume as jeep parts. I visited twice. Both times for about 10 mins. The first time I walked around the entire time. No one ever stopped over to see if I have any questions. Second time, same thing. Slightly longer visit since I had found all weather mats and a bed cover in stock that both fit my truck. Walked around looking at the products and inspecting them. No one came over. Walked up to the desk. Two employees working, at the desk. When I walked up to inquire about purchase they were talking business. Not wanting to interrupt, but VERY CLEARLY standing at the desk waiting to be greeted after walking around the store for 10 mins, it’s as if I was invisible. I stood there. They looked at me, I looked at them, and no interest. So I turned around and spent my $1,000 online, had the stuff shipped to my home, and installed it myself.

This place looks great from the outside, but what you get is not what you see. Very poor service, misleading and out right dishonest. I will never go back here again. There are better ways to waste your money. I have spent thousands of dollars at this place and yet they still cheated me, I do not understand there business ethics. This review is for the national web site, NOT the Indy store. I ordered a Jeep TJ top cover via their toll-free # last week, paid w/ CC - got NO email with shipping status, NO receipt. Have now been on hold with them for almost 20 min. Get thru - they check their rolodex and determine it will arrive in a day or two....hopefully the cover is better than their business practices....OMG....be warned.

Since he is a young man this company has continually disregarded his time, his gas and the fact that he only has a few more days home. What is wrong with this picture? No one has tried to make it right, refunded his expenses or anything. We will not reccomend this place to anyone!

Scheduled an alignment for my 2006 Dodge Ram 2500. They couldnt get me in for over a week. Which I understand theyre busy. Guy I talked to on the phone was rude and didnt seem interested in helping me. Go in for my appointment and they say they cant do my alignment because my upper and lower ball joints are bad. I just had them replaced 10k miles ago. XRF ball joints were installed. The guy asked me what kind of ball joints were installed I said XRF. He said he never heard of them before. I was like really? He said we usually install moog and thats when I grabbed my keys and left. I dont recommend going here the guys up front are rude and treat you like youre an idiot. I will not be giving 4wheel parts any more of my business.

Had a really tricky driveline problem with my Cherokee. Many had tried and failed. Daryl stuck with it, used his off time to get my driveshaft sorted and got it running right once and for all. So so appreciative. And they didnt send me to the poor house either!!!! Great experience. Cant wait to go back for some upgrades.

SHOP AROUND!!! They will try to sell you parts that are not nessessary. I had the death wobble on my Jeep, from the most expensive AEV lift money can buy. I went to 4WD not knowing, but trusting them, on the east side of Indy & they told me I needed all these new parts that was over $2,000 total....I most recently took my Jeep to two other shops & they both agreed the lift was in great shape & the only problem I had was a bad belt in my front right 37” tire. So please, do not just start buying parts that they recommend you “need.” Shop around because my “$2000” problem ended up being a $35 tire rotation . #Scammers

My expierence was terrible i went to get a front level kit for my f-350 and they came up with issues that had nothing to do they said the gearbox,tightrods,balljoints,wheelbarings and the frontshaft from the 4x4 needed to be replaced but it had nothing to do with the level kit because the level kit is not a moving part and after i helped them from losing another customer with a good chunk of money invested in his order i still didnt recieve good service.
