Jeff Cardwell is one of the most honest and decent men I know, and he hires good quality people to work at the store, the store is well stocked and with the lumber yard he has about anything you could need, I enjoy supporting this store, Jeff gives a lot to charity and is always helping some one in one way or another, give to the local companies and keep the money here in indy

A little higher than the big guys price wise but they have some really impressive specialty cleaning products i havent seen anywhere else. Helpful friendly staff. Nice flowers when they have them. Convenient neighborhood option for hardware needs.

I was really intimidated to replace my roof. Hired a guy that suggested Cardwells to purchase shingles. We went picked out shingles, they loaded them up and he put them on. Loaded up the shingles we didnt use, took them back and they gave me a refund. OMG the project came out beautiful and Cardwell DIY made it affordable. Thank you to everyone at Cardwell DIY

This is a smallish neighborhood hardware store. In any particular category, you wont find dozens of options, but you will find one that works. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful!

Great selection of bolts and nuts always has what I need. Nice selection of other things as well. Good place to go when you dont feel like walking around a big box store.

For being smaller than the giant home improvement stores, they carry a lot of items. They always have what I need for my home and garden maintenance or improvement, including some specialty garden tools I havent found at the big stores.

Only place in town I could find propane in a small tanks Hope theres still some cuz I need some more Great service

Young cashier was rude and had an additude I asked if they had something she said I dont no do I asked her to look it up she refused at first walked off said something under her breath I told her why doesnt she fo her job and look it up for me this is the LAST place I go to if I need a hardware store whats funny its the closest to my home

I cant give you a perfect five stars. Because the clerk at the checkout. Obviously does not like women. She never greets me until she has to which is when I come to her and even when I come to the checkout she doesnt say a word. It really sets of four presidents for the shopping at card Wells store experience. However the rest of the staff theyre pretty decent

I love this store. Its easy to get to, parking is great, and they seem to have anything I need at fair prices.

I went to a grab a knob for my tub i didnt see the model i wanted so i decied to leave. after i got to the door i rember i need to see how much sticker number for my house would cost after that i went the front the lady told me to stop and said did i steal somthing i said no she said it was on camra i said well run it i have over $200 in my pocket i dont need to steal she freak out saying step back i said it because i black right she said well i the on came in and didnt buy nothing I tell ya the store has nuthing but hate for black people this the 2nd time this has happen here take you business to lowes or another hardware store

I was theyre about a month-and-a-half ago. I signed up for a contest they were having hey claimed my $500 gift today. It was awesome........

This is the worst hardware store ever!!!! They sell cheap made products and will not honor it even if you bought it in less then 8 hours.The really bad part, is I dealt with the store manager the whole time and he didn’t want to make it right. Also he THREATENED me to keep the broken product and kick me out with nothing. When I was leaving with my broken part I was talk to another employee to see if that guy was indeed the manager he came up to me saying he don’t like me under minding him like I was his kid.Great customer service there Jeff cardwell

I am a business owner and have been in the Cardwell Do it Best numerous times over the past several years to buy items for my office, home, as well as beautiful flowers on Holidays. The employees are always friendly, knowledgeable and helpful in assisting me find items or explaining how I can do projects myself. Saving money and not having to walk a mile to find an item, keeps me coming back.

While they didnt have what I was looking for, the staff could not have been friendly. Quality customer care is hard to come by these days and the employees at cardwells were more than helpful.

Google says open till 6pm their voicemail says open till 6pm as well in Sunday’s. They’re definitely not open until 6pm just so other don’t waste their time.
