I love White Rabbit. It was more vintage-centric when I was in college, but it has since become an affordable boutique setting for local crafts artisans, with a special focus on promoting female artists. They have a really good selection of quirky jewelry and repurposed clothing items, in addition to many iconic graphic tees.

Love that things are created through local artists which brings the organic sense of community into this store! Its a great place to grab a gift for a friend. The only downside is that clothing items run a little small.

I LOVE this store! I live out of town and try to go as much as possible. They have second hand clothes altered to different styles. Their collection of stickers is large. They carry messages through the store that most people living in the Iowa city area can agree with.

Always a pleasant little place. Great spot for cute clothing in earth tones, prints, stickers, pins, and assorted knickknacks with a big focus on feminism, plants, cats, and a sort of three-levels-deep irony matched with sincerity. Lots of earrings and necklaces as well.Much of the art and prints come from local artists and makers, which is pretty great. Its usually a bit too expensive for me, but if you want to visit a hip little boutique that seems squarely aimed at millennials and college students - in the best of ways - its an excellent little shop.

Hands down my favorite store in Iowa City. I love that they support local/women artists. They always have a great selection of vintage clothes. I pretty much never leave empty handed!

Love the local art, I bought a wonderful cross-stitch that said Shitty Adult lol. If you dont leave with clothes you will certainly leave with something! The staff is very wonderful as well, but with that being said the clothes there Ive found can be very size inclusive, Im a size 12 and I still find it hard to find clothes that fit from this store.

This place has been one of my favorites as long as Ive been in Iowa City. It has a ton of handmade clothing, some local stuff too. Everything is very creatively designed and there is a great atmosphere to the place. Im always able to find something new and inspiring that I like when Im there. Definitely worth a look if it fits your style.

This is a staple stop for me in Iowa City. Not to be missed! Original local functional art - some wearable, some for home use, some simply for coveting by new-school hippies. It reminds me to appreciate the highly original creative force in Iowa. I always feel so glowy amid all the brilliance that I blab and blab to the staff. Oh, and the staff is very proficient at humoring customers. ;)

I come here about once a month and rarely walk out empty handed. They have some very talented thrifters here. Prices span a wide range, just as many spendy pieces as there are steals. Head to the back for consignment pieces.

The place smells good and theres always cool locally made stuff. Everyone that works there is super nice and talkative.
