Love this place. Im Mexican-American, so its cool to stop by a place with such a wide variety of products Im not familiar with. I like trying things that are new to me. Plus, today i got some info about the in store bakery, which Im definitely going to try next time. A very kind shopper pointed it out. She was purchasing sangak flatbread. Once I asked her about that, she even suggested I try one of her favorite styles of pickle.
Today I realized what a bad store this is. I went to buy food for a holiday event. I used to buy groceries here too, and they always talked to me politely. But today in the meat department I asked to cut the chicken into several pieces and put it in several bags. Firstly, they refused me, I said its not so difficult. to which they answered me rudely: then why dont you do it yourself? And he refused to do this service. in response, I gave up this chicken, paid for the $ 200 purchase that had already been collected, and left. I will not return here again and will make sure that my family and friends never buy anything here either. Awful store.
It is a good store but has a very rude and disrespectful supervisor named Nader. He talks to customers with utmost disrespect. Others are fine.
This place is carrying extremely bad Customer Service - its a total chaos with super bad attitude and pathetic people. My experience with them is extremely negative. The meat section is filled with bad smell and arrogant people. They used to clean/cut chicken and its not anymore. The fruits and vegetables arent fresh... They need to change the course of operations in order to stop loosing customers.
I purchased food from this market’s restaurant and I found strand of hair in the food, I called for the return and the man who answer was unapologetic and didn’t return my money, on past occasions They forgot to give me the yogurt or extra tomato’s I purchased and I had to drive all the way to their store. Never apologetic to customers and always arguing with the customer instead of resolving it. If you would like to do business with them just know that they won’t return the money at all costs.
Every time I go there I have a very bad experience with cashiers. They are so rude and they never treat their clients good. Today I was there and my cashier name was Manzar, she didn’t even say one word so rude. I hope they see my comment and train their employees.
The produce is high quality, but typically a little expensive compared to typical grocery store prices. The bakery is the real reason to stop by though. They have great taftoon bread which is what I typically stop by for
Very very rude. They dont want give price over the phone and they hang up on you. I wish I can give you zero star.
You ever been to mitsuwa in Costa mesa? Well its not like that. Its more like a 99 ranch but with better lighting and better snacks, fr fr
Super Irvine has good produce prices and a good variety of Middle Eastern products, but its not spacious at all, and I feel like the cashiers are only friendly to Middle Easterners or maybe just Persians. Its not like theyre rude; just not friendly with me. Thats just my perception.
I don’t usually like to leave bad comments for business as I believe all business strives for their best. But the level of cleanses could improve a lot in this market. I bought a bag of nuts mix and there is hair in it. 🙁 Costume service was good though.
I give it 4 stars only because of the horrible parking lot. Already 3 cars bumped into my car otherwise store is great, best products, fresh, good prices, one of the manager was not friendly over the Persian new year but I guess she was tired. Thank you 🙏
Unfortunately they were closing when I went. But the place looked good. I found the tea here I have been looking for all over Los Angeles. Priced looked very reasonable. Hope to go back again.
Tons of great produce and a lot of options for anything you would want to cook.
Place with organic yummy food. Best is organic fresh meat cut in front of u. Has everything
I had a nice time shopping here and left with some wonderful memories. Their customers are courteous and considerate. The precision of the commodity is exceptional, and its consistency is equal. Thank you so much for all of your efforts.
Love the place, fresh food, vegetables, meat and more.
Great place for halal meat (all kinds) and economically priced produce.
Super Irvine needs a miracle to be like a NORMAL grocery store! Very rude and unprofessional staff, they treat you based on your nationality and they dont even look at you! As much as I like to shop there and I spend my money I dont see myself going back, I was a customer for 20 years and I shop weekly but not anymore because NOTHING changed.I forgot to mention about Covid 19 precautions wich is they dont follow, I saw a customer SNIFFING a bunch of mints!!!!! WTH and she put it back !!!!! Never again.
Prices are good. needs some upgrade in atmosphere and lighting
This place needs more cleaning and more space. Staff is rude sometime.
The store is very well stocked and has a huge variety of veggies and some Indian specialities as well. I wish it was bigger and a little more updated. But apart from the looks, its a great store with good prices in town.
Great ethnic store that carries good Persian groceries
I use to visit this store at least once a week, buy some European sweet like candy and cookies, fresh fruits and vegetables, meat department is pricey and twice got not fresh beef, so no meat for me anymore
Its been like this for a long time unfortunately no change will going to ever happen in there. Its just sad. Dirty, Smelly, workers have a bad attitude, lack customer service. The place has great potential the owner doesnt care.
Decent place for arabic grocery, best for vegetables, fresh halal lamb and beef is good too, they lake arabic products like Zyad brand all what they have is Persian brands like sodaf, you can tell it’s not like arabic grocery but still has most of the things you need there. I recommend it for arabic grocery and specially vegetables.
This is an amazing store. My family and I have enjoyed it for years. It is a small store, so sometimes not everything is fresh down some aisles. The produce is usually really good, especially mint, dill, and others. There are so many good things here in each aisle, and the restaurant is amazing 👏. Our favorite is the whole chicken. I love the Deli in the back too- great cheese, halvah, and other selections. Plus an excellent bread kitchen in the back. The medjool dates are always the best in town and worth the price.
Very good Persian products. Fresh sangak bread. Meat and fish are fresh and the service is good at cutting what you want. There is also a kitchen that makes good Persian food. The service in this part could improve but the food is good.
Large variety of international items. Fresh produce.
This was the biggest supermarket in town! I used to shop here every time I need to purchase stocks for the whole week. Everything I needed was already in this supermarket. I always had a convenient time shopping here.
Bought bread and it was molded, fruits also perish in a day or so, all their stuff is old
Wasnt that impressed. My meat had been cooked and held. Hadnt had that happen here before.
Shopping and very good food
The best sangak bread I have ever tasted. 👍
Great Mediterranean Market.Great prices and qualityDont get disappointed by the small spaces between the isles, they are trying to fit as many items as possible! The meat department and the butchers are great, pick what you want and ask them to prepare it, fillet it, chop it for you you.Again it reminds you of shopping in one of the old Bazar market places in Greece, or Turkey or Lebanon.Enjoyable Shopping, Discover new items.
Fresh grocery. Variety of meats and poultry.
A good place to buy Fresh Red meat and Poultry. The butchers cleans and cut the meat as requested.
Customer Service & Managment is worse than 3rd world countries. They are bunch of crooks ripping people off. Do not deserve any star.
They always have fresh meat and veggies and fruits. I often bought meat and veggies.
Great persian collection of food and fresh meats, I tried their pre-made steaks and chickens and they were amazing! Will try them again soon
It was Clean. Everything was easy to find. They do not have Many Organic, dairy free and gluten free products... But their selection of produce, mid-eastern breads and Pitas are good...
Yesterday, I went to this supermarket nearby because I need to buy meat. And I was satisfied with the freshness and so overwhelmed with the pleasant service Ive got from their staff. They entertained their customers so much. I will always visit this supermarket for my groceries. Thanks a lot!
We stopped on a long drive and chose this supermarket to use the restroom very randomly. We were blown away by this place. We bought amazing hot sanjak fresh out of the oven, a ridiculously delicious chicken served with rice/rasins/dates/lentils/saffron rice and a couple more equally spectacular dishes. I wish I wasn’t in a hurry as their grocery was also very interesting! I glimpsed some unusual-to-me species of produce and they had a good bit of organic! I will be back.
Worst customer service ever! The owner is a main problem.
My favorite place
Great place for grocery shopping.. Economical and reasonable prices
Nasty customer service I mean no service, this store needs to install self checkouts at least the computer will be polite and talk to the customers. The overall prices are higher than an ethnic store so since they are charging American prices then the owner must provide clean store and helpful service, I believe none of the unrefined employees including management working can even spell customer service let alone provide some, filthy floor and messy merchandising, the entrance to the restroom is themed after a horror movie enter at your own risk a business like this is only focused on making dollars I have visited this store few times and all employees are adamant to being rude. An attitude adjustment is warranted.
Amazing place and you can always get fresh products from here.
Very bad experienceVery slow service
The best in area...
One of my go-to places to get fresh groceries, meat and bread.
Not bad if you go early since the produce will be fresh and not crowded.
They are not professional at all, and unfortunately they dont know anything about costumer service! I am pretty sure they will lose more costumers if they keep doing what they are doing. Wish them luck :) lol
I visited this store only once and will probably never go back again. The items are regular stuff you find in international food markets, not better, not worse but certainly more expensive. The store is very packed, shelves are placed close to each other so there is no way two people can shop with a cart in the same aisle. My visit was during Covid pandemic, store was super crowded, counters, and shelves were not clean. The cashier who checked out my items made two big mistakes costing me $$, and of course sales are final due to Covid! Honestly, I didnt even wanted to go back and argue about the mistake because it was so crowded with no air flow inside. I was very excited when I found this store on google map but unfortunately I was disappointed by the experience.
Great halal supermarket
I love that store you can find everything special Persian food!
I’ve had two meals there and it’s been very good., gheymeh and chicken kabob -
Great market for fruits and vegetables, but note that the quality is reflected in these cheap prices. I find that you have to consume them quickly/ within a week or they go bad. Meat is good but they don’t have a big prepackaged section so you always have to wait for the butchers to serve you. Sometimes it can take 15-20 minutes of waiting.
A little packed but a good variety.
Great Persian market and Cafe.
The food place is horrible. I got 3 different stews and they were all tasted stale and went to garbage. The customer service is not better than the food.
Nice place
After many visits, I noticed their staff are not so friendly or great you at the cashier. They seriously need to improve customer service. each cashier have their own rules, like do not put the bread on the rolling counter for checking out.
I love the large european variety of groceries available here
Restaurant foods are not healthy and so low quality.
Good place 4 grocery
Rude employees, not so clean
When my mom was paying I saw a small cockroach.
Friendly staff, lots of options for middle eastern grocery
Great produce at great prices
Middle eastern food fresh
Always has fresh produce and meat
Good prices for fruits and vegetables.
Always a busy place, meat is bit over priced compared to wholesome
Living in Irvine forces my Artesia visits to be less frequent. However, after finding Super Irvine, I think my Little India trips will be even less often.First of all, parking is tight. You might need top park further and walk over. But, its worth it. The produce is fresh and the prices are great. And thats not just for produce. All their prices are great. Its a one stop shop for our diet. They have meats and fish. All seemed fresh. Also everything seemed very clean. My new favorite grocery store in Irvine!
If it werent for all the dirty looks from all the foreigners.. Itd be a pleasant shopping experience.
Inexpensive and has all I need. Has a variety of fruits and veggies. Love this place.
Best quality and selection for the lowest price with great customer service.
Nice shop. If youre looking for special items you can go there
Always a great selection of fresh produce, meets, and yummies you can’t find elsewhere
Prices for produce are great and the employees are so kind. Even with the stress of the quarantine everyone has such a big heart. I love it here!
Difficult to move with cart because of narrow aisles, particularly after office on Friday before weekend starts when it is crowded most. In peak times, parking is a nightmare. Also not a user friendly place for people with disabilities using wheelchair or any sort of walker. Otherwise, it is packed with groceries of all sorts. It is primarily a Middle Eastern culture oriented grocery store. Reasonably priced in comparison to Ralph or Whole Foods. There are no organic vegetables. There is a corner where freshly made bread is coming out from oven. A Persian cuisine restaurant entrance from inside the main grocery store helps you pick up food to take home after grocery is complete. Their food display and kitchen is inside the grocery near bread-oven area. The grocery sells halal beef, chicken, lamb, etc marinated or not, and whole Salmon, too. You have to get a ticket and wait for your turn to ask for meat to cut and clean per your preferred way. This waiting area is really packed in peak times and you may have to wait for 15-20 minutes to get your number called.
Very good
Very good store . good employees. Henry helped me with my grocery shopping and with recommending food for the company.he was very useful and tried to help me on anything he can, he even went out of his way to help us with the bags. I love the service and how people like Henry are useful.thank you super Irvine for having people like that.
Best Food in the cafe.
Everything is really good. I dont give 5 stars because the carts out side arent very clean.
Lots of Fresh Fruit ay this Perisa / Iranian Market. Marinated beef and chicken meats are excellent and easy to cool in minuets. I need some time travel 35 miles to get here. It is worth it.
Great Persian food restaurant inside. Worth the trip.
