I worked directly with Doug Campbell to design and build a Mark III Superformance Cobra. It was an extraordinarily positive experience every step of the way. Superformance cars are hands down the best Cobra replicas and Hillbank makes the whole experience very positive. Doug talked me out of a lot of my first impulses and educated me as to many other options I wouldnt have known about. There are a lot of options with repeat to paint, wheels, tires, interiors, exhaust and engine. All the financial aspects were transparent and easy to deal with. I got exactly the car I wanted. When was the last time you said that? Finally, I was not prepared for how fun the car is to drive.

I ordered and bought my Superformance GT40 MKII several years ago from Hillbank. First, I want to commend Hillbank/Superformance for the fact that they even offer this car (that seems to be an obvious point but it seems to get overlooked in reviews). Moreover, the major reasons I chose Hillbank/Superformance, rather than other manufacturers of GT40s, are simply that they were extremely responsive to all my questions and inquiries, I also liked that the car was a pretty faithful replica of the original and they seemed to be well established and stuck to schedule, procedures etc. I had lots of basic and fundamental questions on the car, as my intention was to actually use it on real roads etc., not as a fixture at a caffeine and octane event or something similar. Basically, I wanted to turn back time and use it in my own private universe, something which creates all sorts of additional concerns and questions that many owners of these cars might not have. That responsiveness has continued even after the sale, as they (Doug Campbell) have promptly answered all my questions concerning technical details and specifications on the car, parts, general advice, tips etc. That is very important, as you sort of have to rejigger everything you know or think you know about cars when owning and driving a car such as this. I have appreciated the time, attention and patience paid to me. Thank you!

I have been collecting sports cars since 1968. I drive my cars especially my two 2005 Ford GT’s a lot.I wanted to experience what the Ford GT drivers in the sixties experienced so I purchased Chassis 2171a 2007 Superformance GT40 MKII. Doug Campell was most accommodating, patient, and understanding.He addressed all my concerns including taking cabin measurements as I am 6’4” tall (same height as Gurney)but I still needed assurance that I would fit. I did not wish to fly from Pennsylvania so I needed to trust and feelsafe with Doug and subsequently with his company before I pulled the trigger to buy. My learning curve aboutmy GT40MKII was steep but Doug and Hillbanks hung in there with me. Going forward they have been therefor me whenever I need advice or help. Blessed is the person who gets up every day and does what he lovesto do for that person shall never work a day in his life. This has been my life experience and I know in my heartit is the same for the folks at Superformance. They are passionate about what they do.
