I tried returning a battery that leaked a bit of acid and was under warranty but still with a good charge as of 2 months ago. Both managers were brought to the front to let me know they would grant a warranty for a “good battery” even though they had no way to determine the charge as they “only sell parts and don’t have that equipment.” They both came out prepared to not listen and had every intention of not helping me. I asked what their suggestion was and they acted ignorant. One of the guys even responded with “I don’t know because I have never heard of this issue before.” I scoffed at his lack of sense (or experience) and kept my pleasantries and walked out with my leaking battery. I used to work for a place that charged, tested, and sold batteries for 5 months. I saw a handful of similar cases and we predominantly sold LIGHTS; so when I heard the manager say that, I could tell he was only out there for his body muscle and not his brain muscle. I took the battery over to the service department and they charged, tested, and installed the battery after telling them my concerns. Long story short, the parts dept. only sells products and is not there to help!
