I read the reviews about this location before going in on Saturday 9/11/2021. I was already pessimistic with the amount of poor reviews theyve received in recent weeks but I decided to try them out nonetheless.I proceeded to the refrigerated section where they had bags of bell pepper and tomatoes on display and there were no price tag for these items so I ask the young man nearby who obviously works there if he knew what the prices were. He answered, no he doesnt in the most dismissive manner and did not make an effort to find out. This is someone that was bagging up loose bell peppers! At checkout, the lady serving was more interested in the African movie she was watching than in serving the customer before her. She made no eye contact, rather her gaze was fixated on the TV screen behind me. When asked a question, she responded with a frown and a why are you bothering me attitude!Well, the poor reviews on here are well deserved! I have been to the Garland and Grand Praire locations several times and their customer service is much better than this location. Not sure Id be making a repeat visit here.It is not a food bank for goodness sake! People come in to your store to spend their hard earned money and well within their rights to take their money elsewhere if you cant treat them with dignity and respect! And yes, the staff do NOT wear masks despite the huge Mask Required sign at the entry! Ridiculous!
This store is ok to buy stuff that you know by their names, but there are other items that were just displayed on the shelf and has no names or labeling! I wonder why is that? Maybe this question is ringing everywhere and they dont know.
Mostly a Nigerian grocery store selling items not normally found in American stores. Great place to find those items at a reasonable price.
Went here yesterday and bought 20 fishes. I said at least 2 times to gut and cut in half. What did I see when I came home? Cut in half but not gutted. Never buying fresh fish from here ever again. If gutting/cleaning fish is a service you dont offer, why not just tell me? Not happy. Not giving 1 star only because for the most part, my experiences with other SW market have been good.
Great place to buy african food stuff.
Very mannerless manager or whoever supervises this place. You sell a spoilt/sour soup. I asked to replace food without soup, stupid manager refused to serve another food or refund my money talking about a 3dollar fish is too expensive to replace meanwhile he was willing to replace the yam($5) i bought alongside it with the spoilt soup on both the fish and yam. Talking but it was freshly cooked today like freshly cooked foods cant be made with spoil foodstuffs. Deadass store with zero customer service. See you in court.
Always love to get meat, and love their bread. I really like how they offer bags of red bell peppers, I just wish they offered peppers all the time. They only have them sometimes.
Extremely poor customer service. The sales associates are very rude, like honestly these ladies are always frowning, they dont like you asking them questions, they wont even answer to a simple Hello, like Jesss!!!, lighten up. They are very passive when you ask questions. I mean all of them, except the lady at the kitchen section. She is always lively and welcoming. When my husband told me they opened a new location at Irving I was very excited since we use to drive from Forthworth to Arlington to shop at the other branch. We have been there 3 times and no thank you we will stick with the Arlington location. I will like to spend my money where it is appreciated.
Fast and easy process,, lots of parking and easy in and out off the service road
Clean. Well stocked. The bread is to die for! Has everything we need!
Very rude staff. Will only go when absolutely necessary.
Poor customer service ever. Rude female staff in the bakery department.. Very unprofessional attitude. Southwest farmers market PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR BREAD HAS INGREDIENTS AND EXPIRATION DATE LABELS... It is required in the USA..U CAN BE SUE FOR THAT. ...
Had a very rude reception and poor customer service with the lady on duty(8/13) when I brought up the fact that the bread had insects in them.
They got useless set of workers here, especially the manager, so rude☺️
Whoever mixed the flour to baked bread last Sunday 9/19/20 did not mixed it correctly. The bread texture is just like cake. African bread doesnt fall apart nand full of crumbs . Please let there be improvement.Even been looking at the bread inside the nylon it looked as if its not well done.
I like their Goat was so fresh
Huge African food varieties
They have good and fresh produce. Their prices are reasonable too
Excellent customer service. I found so many products like Smoked Turkey wings that I could not find at even Walmart.I really love the Meatpie and delicious bread (yes, they gave me a free loaf) compared to other brands that were double the price.I will always patronize Southwest Farmers Matket!!!
If you care about your health, don’t go to this store. The staffs don’t wear masks and they are ready to keep the virus spreading. Their location in Dallas won’t let you shop without gloves which is very good but this store is a total mess. DON’T GO THERE…. Lest I forget, the staffs are very rude
African grocery store. Lots of variety and options.
