I bought my car in February, and the tires it came with were not old, but just not for the car. I got my tires replaced here and it is a literal night and day difference! Its like a brand new car, and definitely winter ready. The staff are phenomenal and very friendly. The manager, Calvin, its as good a guy as you could meet! They didnt try to up-sell me anything, and I was in and out in under 2 hours. No one likes buying tires, or car repair, but its necessary and I trust the quality of products and service from this Firestone.

My wife brought her car in to Firestone asking for her brakes to be replaced. Most other maintenance has been done by Toyota as long as she has owned the car. We have recently had the oil and oil filter changed, and replaced the oil filter cover. After Firestone had brought her car in they proceeded to tell my wife she needed an oil change, cabin filter, air filter and a few other things replaced. They also told her the the oil filter cap was cracked and leaking on the exhaust and that it was broken by whoever installed it last. The car has about 1500 miles since the last oil change and has never shown any signs of leaking oil. I have checked after leaving and have not seen any crack or leak. Her total estimate came to almost $900. This is not acceptable! They were not asked to look or touch anything else, just the brakes. None of what they were quoting even had to do with the safety of the car.

Be carful for extra charges. I went in last week with a list of things to get done on my truck and I’m glad that I pay attention to detail. They tried charging me for an alignment (I paid for free lifetime alignment last time I had it done), they tried charging me for tire rotations (should be free since I have tires from firestone), they tried charging me for the same belt twice, they tried charging me for a check engine light scan. That’s almost $200 of wrongful charges. Like I said, read over your quotes/invoice before you pay anything. Besides that, it was friendly service and they were able to get everything I needed done in one day.

We dropped off our car with a semi flat tire on Sunday as they had said on the phone that they would be able to patch that day. We later received a call from the dealership that they could not patch the tires as the back two had such bad tread they were no longer street legal. This gave me pause but I gave them the benefit of the doubt and asked for a quote to replace the tires. The number was staggeringly large considering I had purchased tires for much less in the past. I asked them to fill the tire with air and I would take it elsewhere to have the tires replaced (quoted at half their cost right up the street). We then let them know we would be in the next day during business hours to get the keys and pick up the car. We went to the store the next day 2 hours before closing time and the front desk informed us that they had locked the keys in the car. We have only 1 set of keys for this vehicle so they had just locked our only set! When we asked what we could do they offered to try and open the car. How did they do that? A COAT HANGER that they jammed in the door and then could not even get to unlock. At this point they shrugged their shoulders and walked back in the office. We had to use our personal AAA account which is for emergencies only to come and unlock the car. As the AAA truck was leaving they offered to pay for the unlock and we said we would call the manager Chris Stephens in the morning to arrange. We called this morning and Mr.Stephens renege on his employees offer and would not pay the unlock charge. He called my husband a liar and said that he was going to trust his front desk over us that we had asked them to lock the keys in the car. There is NO WAY we would have asked that as we ONLY HAVE ONE SET OF KEYS!! I have a formal complaint pending with Firestone corporate but DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE!! They are completely unprofessional, rude, and cannot be trusted.

I had a great experience the Firestone in Issaquah, WA. My car was in desperate need of some new tires, I brought it to the local Chevy service department where they quoted me at over $2k for the set of 4 tires and labor to install them. On my way home I decided to check to see how much the Firestone store would charge for the exact same same tires. The overall cost was about $1500 but the employee told me that they were having a sale soon and if I was willing to wait several days it would save me over $300. When I brought my car back several days later the installation took less time and cost even less than originally estimated and all of the employees were extremely polite and helpful.I sincerely appreciated that they had the opportunity to make more money from me but instead informed me of the upcoming sale and how I could save even more money. I recommend at least checking out this Firestone if anyone is ever in the market for some new tires.

My family has been customers of this Firestone for 15+ years and we always had great service. However, I have been seeing a steady decline in service and professionalism over the past year that seems to correlate with the departure of the former manager, Chris, and many members of his staff. Sadly, after my experience there today, I will no longer use this location, nor will I refer friends here.In recent months, a friend had a front headlight bulb replaced in her Subaru but because it was installed incorrectly at this Firestone location, it caused $700 worth of damage that had to be repaired by a dealer. Firestone was at fault and reimbursed her for the cost of the repair. Replacing a bulb in a Subaru headlight? Really? I was embarrassed that I had recommended this shop to her.The billing system is in great need of updating, or the staff is in need of re-training. I have spoken to several employers on multiple occasions because I am sent my daughters bills even though they have their own cars and separate Firestone accts. My name, my address, their repairs. The last person who tried to rectify this a few weeks ago managed to erase my acct information all together so when I called for an appt today, I was not in their system. Really, after 15 years?Today I called about a slow leak in a tire and scheduled an appt. Upon arrival, I asked if it would be possible to have the oil changed but was told they did not have time to do it. When the tire was checked, I was told there was a large screw in the tire. However, I was also told that my tires were bald and new tires were recommended. I was told they could do it today. Huh? Because of an upcoming road trip, I did not have the option of getting another opinion or time to price shop. As I waited 4 hours for the tires to be installed, I watched as three other customers with slow leaks were told the exact same thing, with the exact same tread measurements. Hmmmm. No time for an oil change but time for new tire installations? $$$$$ I now find myself wondering if I needed new tires at all......In addition, today I had to ASK if there were any discounts for using my Firestone acct, whereas in years past, I was offered discounts and in some instances, more than one. I always felt I was getting the best possible price. I was also told I could save $100 today by using my account so, of course, I agreed. As I was being checked out, instead of taking it off the bill, I was told I needed to submit the receipt for a rebate. When I looked at the information, its a $100 Firestone Pre-paid VISA card. I consider this really poor communication regarding pricing and promotions. As I waited for my car today, I heard lots of horsing around in the service bay area: several guys hooting and hollering, someone rapping loudly, someone groaning about phones ringing....very unprofessional and showing lack of focus by technicians. The employee manning the front counter also speaks way too fast and does not enunciate. As I waited and listened to him talk with customers, I could hardly understand a word he was saying either on the phone or in person. Not the right kind of front man, if you ask me.So, its time to find another service shop in the area. There are other choices and its time to move on. Honesty, transparency and professionalism are long gone here.Chris, please come back!!!!

Melodrama doesnt sit well with me so I told them Id just pick up my car if it were ready. This morning I dropped my car off at a shop I trust (Auto Logic in Bellevue) to have them give the car the once over, they just called me with this news...The oil and filters are filthy, thats the air and oil filters I paid Firestone to replace 3 days ago-never changed. The brake problem they were so melodramatic about, not anywhere near the problem Firestone claimed. Its being addressed now at half the price and with higher end parts than Firestone quoted. So, there it is in black and white. I also feel that because I am a woman they had a hard time accepting that I might know a little something about cars!So...after the third re-balance with the brand new machine...all is well. Tires are in balance at high speeds, no more klunk klunk on the passenger side undercarriage...I was completely dissatisfied by my experience at Firestone Issaquah. Will NEVER return. Would NEVER recommend their so called- service. Such a bad experience.
