The hype about this place is worth it. Everything is super efficient while still being very welcoming and casual. Huge amount of options for food, as well as a variety of coffee, beer, and wine. Ive never tried something bad.

Went to this beautiful spot for coffee and then we found out they also had hard cider on tap. We enjoyed the hard side or along with a nice coffee. The staff was very friendly. They recommended the goat milk cheesecake which was homemade and very delicious. We would definitely be stopping back here before we leave the area. Five stars all the way.

We always stop at collegetown bagels when we are in town visiting family and always leave happy. The bagels are great and the coffee and seasonal offerings (hot apple cider!) are so satisfying on a cool morning. The breakfast sandwiches range from classic to things you wouldnt see on a chain restaurant menu (egg, sausage, cheese and tomato on sourdough). As always the service is friendly and accommodating and we cant wait for our next trip.

Good bagels. Had a Bronx Bagel with a zaatar bagel, chicken sausage, pepper jack and avacado. I like the mediterranean twist with the Zaatar reminds me of the manakeesh I get back in Buffalo. Definitely give a try

Virtually unlimited choices of bagel oriented sandwiches, wraps, and creations, each one delicious. Their soup is great as well and they sell bagels without all the extras. An Ithaca classis you dont want to miss.

Yummy Long Island lox. There was an error on our receipt and we were undercharged. Let the cashier know and the manager was very kind to comp us one of our sandwiches, even though we insisted it wasn’t necessary

CTB was a delightful stop for a delicious breakfast! They had Gluten Free bagels and bread to accommodate me. I am also Vegan and their Plant Powered breakfast sandwich did not disappointment! I will definitely stop by again next time I am in the Finger Lakes region.

Great selection of scrumptious bagels that are in pair or even better than the ohh so famous NYC ones. Yummy sandwiches,smoothies coffee end things. Ample seating place both inside and out. The friendly staff makes it one of my favorites places to get my morning coffee.

Great place to get a quick breakfast in Ithaca. Due to COVID getting an early, quick breakfast was not that easy due to closures, and staffing. CTB made it easy. Tasty breakfast bagels and a great cup of coffee. Service was efficient all the way through.

So many choices. All very tasty. Study the extensive menu ahead of time so you don’t tie up the line.

Don’t expect an easy ordering process. We got lost inside trying to order at the right counter. Sandwiches were extremely oily, chicken was cold, and the brownie tasted stale. Waste of money. Will not be coming back.

Not sure why there are so many great reviews. Their bagel sandwiches are underwhelming and just ok. Their set up for ordering coffee and sandwiches makes little sense. Coffee was mediocre and took forever. Long story short, not worth it.

Coming from LI, I thought I knew good bagels, but CTB blew me away. The chew on these bagels is 👌. If you have a sweet tooth, I suggest trying the San Diego bagel. Warm people and cheery atmosphere, worth experiencing again and again.

Im in an exclusive relationship with their lox bagel. Expecting a proposal any day now.Their drinks are a hit or miss. I enjoy their lavender latte. Everything skews a little on the sweet side though.10/10 will go again. After all, its an Ithaca institution. Even though they have the same owners, CTB > Ithaca Bakery

Loved this place for its vibe: came here several times to write/read/think, with a nice chatter behind me, enjoying coffee and a bagel. Cant beat it.

I really love the food itself there but new online order system they switched to is so confusing— I miss the old one they used, and I wish they’d go back to it! today was the second time we accidentally had our food sent to the wrong location, and we had to drive up to Collegetown to get it. we were so sad! (and my toasted bagel was literally ice-cold by that time!) the queue system inside downtown always makes me so anxious because I never know what window to go to to pick up food, and it always takes awhile to get someone’s attention, so you wonder “did I go to the wrong window? am I doing this right?”.

Must go for bagel lovers. They have bagel pizzas that are worth a try. Coffee is good as well.

Great variety of food. Their bagels and coffee are delicious. They’re in the heart of downtown Ithaca so it’s a big go-to spot for breakfast. But the wait for the food is just too long.

In terms of Coffee, it is the best in town. The coffee tastes great and they have Delicious Desserts. Prices are reasonable. Customer service are great. I recommend this place for Ithaca visitors. They should try it at least once.

Nice local spot to grab a smoothie, bagel sandwich, coffee, and maybe some ice cream. Everything here is good, but not spectacular. I strongly recommend the rosemary salt bagel. It is doughy perfection. The interior is cozy, and definitely feels like Ithaca.

Waited 35 mins for a smoothie, they hadnt started when we went back to ask. Pricey and always busy, why do they call everything bagels long island bagels ??!

The downtown and northeast locations are so poorly laid out that getting a order completed or even started is a task not worth undertaking. Wegmans bagels are comparable.

Its a cute and bustling coffee/sandwich shop. The menu is extensive and looks really good. Their coffee is fair trade and still at a reasonable price. The staff were really friendly, and the place has a nice vibe!

Easy access. Bustling with activity at all times. Great tasting dishes on the menu. Great coffee choices as well. Have to replenish some where during the Commons visit, right? This place may well be that choice. Try it.

Such a cool place. The food is delicious and very unique. They have live music playing often. I like the rotating menu of different coffee drinks. I also order from the salad bar often, theres always different things in there. I am a vegetarian and they have lots of options for me.

Wasnt sure what to expect but sine it was the only place with people outside seemed like a good place to stop. Quaint, efficient, delicious and a variety of menu options that will boggle your mind. Friendly and all around great experience. Sandwich was hot, service was quick. Food was delicious, eggs Christina and a Roundhouse in a wrap.

We came here 2 times and both times our orders were missing or completely different from what we ordered. Food is amazing but too many orders were messed up.

So many items and orders come out quickly and correctly. The coffee (both hot and iced) are delicious and you can look at artwork for sale while you eat. Also a great place to work.

This ctb is significantly slower than any of the other locations and the old downtown location this one replaced. At all the other locations food gets called out right away once it’s finished, every single time I’ve come here I order a bagel and I wait for close to 10 minutes and then I have to ask if it’s done yet and it’s always there just sitting on the counter!

Great place to grab a bite. My friends and I have started a tradition of grabbing on of their seasonal drinks, the Amber rose, which is highly recommended, and walking around the commons. Always fast service and delicious food with a huge selection to choose from.

Bagels we good. Order two bagels for myself and my partner. Took FOREVER to arrive. My partner’s arrived in 15 minutes and the other seemed to take forever. Went in to ask what was going on and they said it would be out in a second. 10 minutes later went back in an it was just sitting in the to-go area (we order dine in). No apology nonetheless. Unfortunately we couldn’t eat our meals together.

It is very easy for me to come down here and sit on a high top for hours. Hit the coffee first, a bagel, then like two hours later after Im working on my laptop, get a smoothie. That is a nice afternoon.

Great breakfast and sandwich joint. Often busy but theyre somewhat quick getting you through the line. Seating inside isnt great but they offer outside seating as well. Food is amazing, and really a necessary visit if youre in Ithaca.

The only place I could find half moons aka black in whites on My trip home to Ithaca. Gosh Ive loved this place forever. Even ran into someone from Charlotte NC in line who could feel my pain of not having Bagels and baked goods as good as you find here. ♡

Good food and great selection. Very accommodating to families. They have a kids play corner and the woman who served us was amazing. She saw our daughter needed some extra snack and gave us some banana and apple for free. 10/10 would go again.

This place is great. A -huge- selection of foods (including vegetarian options), cozy interior, and full of life (literally: lots of people). Also has outdoor covered and uncovered seating with heat lamps. Other folks have rated it one of the most iconic college restaurants in America: I can see why.

Big menu for a fairly small space, great beer and kombucha bar, nice service, and terrific decor and seating. Cant wait for the fresh glue smell to disappear.

Once youve eaten here, youll want to put this on your must do list every time you visit Ithaca! From fresh breads and bagels to the plethora of desserts offered daily, home made soups and salad bar, and the coffee...its all top notch and the staff there is ALWAYS wonderful! I should add that its LGBT friendly, which in Ithaca is pretty normal, but may be useful for visitors

The food is just ok. The sandwiches Ive gotten are small for the price and not particularly well made. The iced teas are good, pretty similar to what youd get at Starbucks. I think this place relies on image more than actually making good food. This is a good place to get some work done and theyre open late so thats cool!

They were very polite and forgiving. My family doesnt know English so it took them a while to figure out what they wanted and the employees were very helpful the whole time. The environment is very nice and friendly.

Collegetown Bagels, the downtown facility of Ithaca Bakery offers much the same breakfast and sandwich menu as does the larger store. Similarly, theyre also good for tea and coffee. Beyond the regular brewed coffee they offer a variety of specialty coffees and Chai teas. The mid sized latte and catpuccino we had were hot with enough milk foam to last for the whole drink. It can get a bit noisy if theres a full house of customers, but that same full house is also indicative of the consistency and quality of their food and beverage offerings. Always a good go-to choice for a light meal or to spend time together over a cup of coffee or tea.

Decent or even good food, nice decor, but uniformly weak service, and Im usually easy to please. The person who first took our order was grouchy and seemed like she would be happier working anywhere else. Then the cashier forgot to give us the coffee wed ordered. And finally the server almost forgot to bring half our order. Was everyone stoned, or indifferent for other reasons?

Small sandwhich for $12, Barely filled and dry. Usually good place but dont reccommend Frikin Chicken at all.

Wonderful food, service and atmosphere.

Ordered some sort of rare roast beef panini this evening but instead waited twenty minutes for a hot gristle and cheese. Managed to choke down some of the greasy, overcooked meat but had to spit out nearly half of it which couldnt be chewed into some bushes. No way that roast should have been gone anywhere but the trash or maybe given to a dog.Edit: The Aurora St. location, between 3:30 and 6. Gee thanks for offering a refund, Travis.

Comfortable seating with good WiFi. Large menu. Baked goods are delicious. Stick to what you know you like on the menu, or keep it simple. Experimentation can lead to overpriced disappointment.

CTB is a quintessential Ithacan establishment. This location in particular is often less busy than the one on College Ave. The bagels are fantastic, and they have good gluten free and vegan options, although I wish they didnt charge extra for gluten free bagels. The coffee is pretty good. This is the only location Im aware of that has the Berry Vegan milkshake, which is one of the greatest milkshakes Ive ever had.

Delicious sandwiches and even better milkshakes. You get to make your own if you want.
