Holly is so kind and offers great advice. You can tell she genuinely cares about her clients. I got the hr facial and it was very relaxing including a foot massage and upper body massage. I also really loved the heated table! The new location has much better parking availability then before when it was on the commons. The space is very clean and welcoming. Definitely would recommend.

I really cant say enough good things about Holly at Norabloom. Ive gotten a coupe of different services done now with Holly and all of them were great! She makes every process easy and relaxing, even waxing. Holly will instantly make you feel comfortable. Shes extremely warm, welcoming and knowledgeable. I recently got a facial there, I have extremely sensitive skin and Holly worked with me to make sure my skin wouldnt have any reactions, 24 hours later and my skin has honestly never looked better. Holly did a fantastic job doing the makeup for my bridal party and me for my wedding! She was so wonderful to work with, responsive in the leadup to the event and really listened to what I wanted when it came to the makeup. Holly does a beautiful job doing natural looking makeup and I felt beautiful while my skin felt like I had nothing on it. She also works very quickly and her positive spirit is exactly what you need on what can be a stressful day. I would recommend booking Holly for your wedding makeup 10/10!

I had the privilege of a 90 minute full body massage today. Fabulous hot towels with eucalyptus, hot stones on my cramped muscles, Hollys touch and interpretation of muscle needs was just the right thing. Getting all the jammed lymph moving with that heat and exact pressure was a godsend. I walked differently when I left the salon than when I arrived. My posture returned, hips centered, spine loosened. I drank warm water and took a nap when I got home. I’m a new person, and it’s Holly that makes it possible. I have been coming to Nora Bloom for manicures for well over a year. In my opinion, they are the best salon for either a regular or a gel manicure in the Ithaca area (Ive been to all of them). Between the ambiance of the spa - beautiful, comfortable, clean, relaxing!! - the kindness of the staff - you quickly get onto a first name basis with Holly, Madi, and Nancy - and the clearly superior quality of their products and services, I never go elsewhere unless I have to! The prices for manicures are also ON PAR with other locations in Ithaca, even though the services and customer experience are far superior! Do yourself a favor... make the appointment, and never go elsewhere!

Y’all!!! I am not exaggerating when I say Norabloom is the best waxing experience I’ve EVER had. I’ve gone twice now and Holly has listened to exactly what I wanted and was so professional the whole time. I had a ton of anxiety being waxed after years of bad experiences and she is one of the most gentle waxers I’ve ever had! The whole atmosphere is very serene and the waxing room doesn’t feel like an exam room like a lot of other places I’ve gone. I basically feel like I’m talking to someone I’ve known for years when I’m there and I couldn’t ask for more :)

The salon itself was nice and clean, unfortunately my service was not good. I went in for a lash lift a few weeks ago and am not at all satisfied with the results. There is no noticeable difference in the curl of my lashes (ie theyre still very straight) and I still have to curl them every time that I want to wear makeup. It was not at all worth the $80 plus tip. I left the salon with damaged lashes but no reward of the solution actually curling them. The few lashes that did minimally curl are not uniform and very sparse. I would not recommend getting a lash lift here. When I left I was told that my lashes would perk up after washing off the nourishing oil and solution after 24 hours (and I even waited longer than 24hrs) but that did not happen.

I love Norabloom! The minute I walk in I feel relaxed. Holly and Maddie are both wonderful and I look forward to the next time Im lucky enough to visit.

Dont say walk-ins welcome if you look at someone as though they have two heads when they actually walk in. I walked in and the technician says I cant take you for a manicure because I have an appointment in 20 minutes. I looked around and the place was completely empty. Ok so you have 20 minutes until your next appointment and I cant get a mani? I asked how long does a manicure take and she says 30 minutes...I am thinking. So...appts can be late or you could start me with the 20 minutes we have...Just moved here and was looking for a place to be a regular client. Disappointed. Made no effort to even say come back.
