There ARE some decent buys at Aldis.. My rule of thumb is:( Dont expect to much) I seem to get the short life spam of fruit when I show up here. So as Not to BASH: They have a really good cholate ice cream(think Hogan Daz) because of good ingredients. There are numerous good buys here, I tend to look at the ingredients though...

Wasnt overly impressed by an associate that put a bag of potatoes back in the bin, after I told the cashier that I could smell that there was a potato that wasnt good in the bag.

Clean and organized. Every employee was pleasant and working hard stocking while helping customers.

Weve been to other Aldi stores. This one is like the others. The employees all seem pleasant and helpful. If I had to find a flaw with this particular location it would be their wheelchair carts. They have two for customer use. But they appear to be in need of service, or better yet, replacement. One has a basket that is severely bent forwards and down, the other makes a very annoying noise while it is moving. Parts are rubbing against the left rear wheel. Other than that, the store itself is well stocked and well maintained.

I love this store! I havent been out shopping for awhile and had a cart full. Staff was working the whole time keeping the shelves stocked and the cashiers are super fast. Everyone is very helpful as well.

Clean, compact, but has wide enough aisles. Could use better stocking and cleaning of special buys section sometimes.

I love all these but my experience while shopping this time was horrible. I was charged for Cherries instead of grapes. My bread three loaves were left behind because they were separated to not get crushed. I didnt notice nor did the cashier.I was offered a refund but I shopped out of town to get the groceries and I dont drive so I lost out on about $10.

Always love Aldi. You can’t go wrong with their deals, I do just about all my grocery shopping here. The cashiers are all super sweet and quick and the store is kept well stocked and clean.

Apart from the fact that they have a very limited selection of groceries, it is perhaps the best place to shop considering the quality and price. The best part of the store is that, your check out is quite brisk. The staff are super efficient. The store allows the customers to carry recycleable cardboard boxes for free which I really appreciate.

Rediculas at least 5 employees andAMD the line was backed up with at least6 customers yet only one register was open. Rude and a a colossal waste of time.

I enjoy Aldi good prices on products and efficiency in product displays and procedures.

Great place to work and shop

What a great store! The quality of their produce has really gone way up compared to 10 years ago. Their prices cannot be beat, especially for snacks and canned fish and meat. They have some really high quality items like what you would find in Trader Joes. Just depends on the item. The checkout clerks at ALDI are arguably the most competent clerks in the entire city; they are so fast, so efficient, and smart! (sorry Walmart clerks...)

All store products are good prices, medium size store but they got almost any products to any family need. They also sell kitchen products, pets products with reasonable prices. Most of them are cheap and good quality. Dont forget to bring your own bags 👉.

Selection of commonly needed goods at lower prices. On many visits I have also found extra good prices on fruits (grapes, strawberries, watermelon) and some veg (mixed colored peppers, lettuce) and much better prices on low calorie high fiber bread.

Bring. A. Quarter! Or prepare to go without a cart. They have seriously stepped up their game in the last few years. They have a ton of organic veggies, theyll get name brand items if they dont carry your favorites (hooray for Hellmans mayo!), and theyve started to carry some durable household products as well. Very impressed as of late.

I love going to Aldis to save money as well as for the different types of products that they sell. Their customer service is beyond top notch! Buster at the Ithaca store is always helpful, friendly and great his customers with a smile. I have been trying more and more if their brands and have not been disappointed. Give their paper towels and toilet paper a try if you use Bounty and Charmin and I think you will be happy to make the change.

I bought some bread, milk, and cheese at reasonable prices. Delightful!

This place is very affordable and has a great stock. My main annoyances is that theres no phone number to reach specific stores (which would be extremely helpful and I feel their policy on it is absolute nonsense) and the fact that it takes about 10-15 minutes just to get through a line because they only ever have 1-2 lanes open which, given the time you go, is long and not worth suffering.

Decent and slightly cheaper when compared to other supermarkets like Wegmans. But dont expect to find exotic Swiss chard here. Nothing can beat Wegmans for those gourmet things. :)

Always good at Aldis. Friendly cashier.

No real signs of sanitation. No one wiping keypads or frequently touched surfaces. No one really social distancing .. it was stressful. I will be sticking with Green star or Wegmans where I can see the efforts being made.

This really is a great grocery store. Produce is hit or miss but the prices compared to other stores are unbeatable. I buy basics here mostly. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The organic section grows continuously.

I noticed that they have quite a reasonable price and availability of stuffs they have.Quality of stuffs are great and staff is super nice.I gave 4 out of 5 because they dont have alcoholic beverages and some drinks e.g. Tonic water etc.

Great quality at good prices. We wish there were more of them around. The store has the best examples of most that you want or need. They do without all the overstocking of just more of the same stuff and also keep costs low with stripped down management. The stray carts do not clog the parking lot because there is a cart deposit.

And extensive offering of diverse foodstuffs with ith essentially household food needs an offerings of general wants, including within the store front market approach offerings of the hardware / electronics / cooking needs. All of these proffered at highly reasonable pricings.

One of the nicest-looking and most open Aldi stores Ive ever been in. Unfortunately, there was basically no one on the floor to assist me so I had to ask a cashier where something was. Something fairly basic that they should have had, by the way (frozen meatballs). Nice-looking for an Aldi, but service and selection still need improvement.

A great place to buy poultry, seafood, & dry products eg. nuts and tissues. Very reasonable price for most goods. But be mindful when you choose raw ingredients. Some of them arent fresh anymore.

Excellent place to shop. Liked it better before they changed store all around. I hate getting my bread in the beginning like better at the end. Somethings are too high for 51 people to reach now. Must have been a giant that planned the height of shelves.

The availability of things like high-quality chocolate, quality cheese, and pasture fed animal products is a must in American urban centers. When these things are affordable, low income people can afford them. This is really important and I hope American grocery stores will take a page from this.

Best bang for your buck in town for groceries. Always a new and unique selection of foods you wont find anywhere else. Newly remodeled store makes it an easy place to get in and get out.

My letter to Aldi:This Aldi in Ithaca, NY is extremely hostile and discriminatory. They have a bouncer posted outside who controls and even body checked my entrance because I was not wearing a mask. Did she care to ask if I had a medical exemption? Does she even know what the state executive order says about masks? NO! In New York the law is I can be without a mask if I maintain my distance - which I do beautifully. You need to know that I WILL NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN UNTIL THIS BOUNCER IS REMOVED AND I DO NOT FEEL HOSTILITY WHEN SHOPPING! New York is opening up. I can shop at Walmart without a mask just fine! I can shop in other Aldi facilities in the state of NY without a mask and never has a lady questioned me. THIS SHOULD BE UNACCEPTABLE. There is actually a LAW (not just an executive order) that shopping with a mask is considered a crime. Penal Law 240.35(4) Should I consider suing your facility for making me commit a crime? Please just ask this facility to remove the bouncer. And let me know so I can return MASKLESS and shop here!

Nice staff, always clean but...could always have every register open. Customers would love to be able to get in & out. Staff is fast but more is always better...

Nice place to shop, but the women working there have a real chip on their shoulder. You cant get a smile, good morning, how are you...nothing. You work at Aldis...not the White House. One time I opened a freezer door and could hear two employees have a loud conversation with the F word being yelled back and forth. Not very professional.

A good place to buy cheap fruits and meat. Always find something cheap I want. The weekly ads helps me save a lot of money. Most stuff are very cheap. But some are not fresh and expensive. You have to select and compare.

Good cheap supermarket, I like to buy frozen vegetables and fruit here. Spaghetti is good but not the best. If you know how to cook rice, a cheap rice is a good rice.

A very friendly and helpful shopping place. Whenever you ask questions, the staff would stop whatever they are doing and assist you first.

Love the bigger store and oversized carts. I can fit everything in finally. The store layout is much nicer and seems like there is more room between the isles.

I love Aldis. They just redid this store; its quite large now. Lots of organic offerings, its budget friendly and the checkout is fast. The produce is hit or miss. I like shopping there when Im planning an event or doing lots of cooking and baking. Extensive offerings in those categories.

Wheres the organic? Just a tiny amount of gluten free. Disappointed - didnt live up to the hype.
