Lucky to have these folks in town. They kept the store open 20 minutes after close on a Friday the day of my pickup. I had problems initially and they ended up giving me extra time on the rental for free. Once I figured out the machine (my problem not theirs) everything was good to go and I finished the project feeling good. Ask for Marie, shes a pleasure to work with and very knowledgeable.

I absolutely LOVE working with Taylor Rental - Marie is a pleasure to work with and she is always super helpful and pleasant. She always does her best to be able to provide last minute rentals when we are in a pinch and she always makes sure we have exactly what we need, even if she has to pull from other locations. Marie makes rentals a breeze :)

Beware!Initially, I was very impressed with how friendly and helpful everyone was a Taylor Rental in Ithaca. Unfortunately, however, their friendly and helpful customer service evaporated after having problems when I rented an excavator and trailer. The first (relatively minor) problem arose when we went to attach their trailer to my truck. One of the tires was completely flat, but I was told it just had a slow leak and needed to be filled. After filling the tire, he was ready to load up the excavator until I pointed out that the tire was hissing as the air escaped. The only working tire they had was completely bald. Literally, there was no sign of tread whatsoever on the tire. He asked how far I had to go, and reassured me since it was less that 10 miles. We loaded the excavator and two hours after arriving, I finally drove away.The excavator performed fine, until about 3 1/2 hour later when I was trying to load it back onto the trailer. The weight of the excavator popped the tongue of the trailer off the ball hitch, which carved a huge scratch and dent into the back of my truck. I called and was asked to reattach it and try again, and that they would take care of it when I returned the equipment. 2nd try, same result. Only then did they acknowledge that their employee had used the wrong sized ball on the hitch. Thankfully, I had the correct hitch in the back of my truck as well and was able to swap it out and return the equipment. They were very apologetic, and assured me theyd take care of it, but they also still charged me for a full day, despite the fact I had used the equipment for less than 4 hours and had to deal with numerous problems.Its now been more than 3 months, and Im still waiting for them to fix the back of my truck. Ive sent emails, and had more than a dozen phone calls. They promise to call back, then almost never do actually call. Finally today they gave me the phone number of their insurance company. The agent was surprised that I had her number and was calling; she said she had been waiting for them to file the incident report. Basically, I had to file it for them. They continue to be polite, and act as if they care, but have done little to nothing to actually resolve the issue.

We rented a bounce house for my daughters birthday. I submitted a request online and they were very quick to get back to me with a quote. They gave us an upgrade because the one we requested wasnt available and we had it for more days than we requested as well. The gentleman who delivered and picked up the house was incredibly sweet to our kids who were outside and so excited about bouncing. He was quick, did a complete job, and helpful. Thank you so much Taylor Rental for making our 6 year olds birthday the best one yet!

Went here after having a horrible experience at another rental store, wont mention any names here... They helped turn what was well on its way too being a nightmare into a pleasant experience. Customer service was as good as it gets! Employees were all friendly helpful and knowledgeable treated me like a person rather than just a customer or a dollar sign. Hats off to you guys Ill be back! Highly recommend! Only complaint is I didnt go here first.

The person attending me was very polite at all times, and even went out of his way to make sure I had the tables I needed. Will definitely use this company again.

Have had a good run with Taylor and until today would have given them 4/5. But had scheduled an excavator for Thursday morning. Was told it would arrive late Wednesday. Then was told, First thing Thursday morning. Then at 11am the on Thursday, they were still too busy or understaffed to even have the equipment on its way!Am now forced to completely postpone my project that required scheduling 4 busy people at the same time. Have lost two days of production and now have to adjust the rest of my schedule to compensate. Taylor had one job and now they have cost my team plenty. In the future will not risk using them, just too costly...
