The Entire staff was so amazing. From the time I entered for my appointment until the time I left the store, they were so helpful and treated my crew and myself like we were family. It was a amazing experience and I would highly recommend it to any bride to be. The lady that was helping me was very attentive the entire visit to ME and ME ONLY. She listened to me and made sure what I wanted was heard, and even the other ladies on staff jumped in help. 10/10 very special experience.
My experience at the Bridal Path was such a joy. The consultant, Stacey, and Audrey, the owner of the shop, really went above and beyond to help me to realize my dream dress. Living out of town, I only had a short amount of time to get my alterations done and the Bridal Path was so accommodating. I loved my dress and veil and I am so thankful that I chose a boutique shopping experience. I truly cannot recommend them enough!
What a wonderful bridal shop. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. We found everything we needed from the bridal gown, bridesmaid dresses and mother of the bride dress. I highly recommend!
I had an amazing experience at The Bridal Path! Olivia was the absolute best! She helped me pick out some very pretty dresses and was so so friendly and kind! The whole staff was a joy to be around! I would highly recommend!
Had a wonderful experience with Angie, who was so patient and knowledgeable and calm--something any mother of the bride needs. She was honest and sent me home with a dress I feel confident and glamorous in, which is not a small feat! I highly recommend this place and may travel back to it in the future.
What a great shopping experience! Our son is getting married in January and I needed a mother of the groom dress. Angie was so very patient and helpful as I tried on so many dresses. I found the perfect dress thanks to Angie and the staff at The Bridal Path
As the Mother of the Bride, I was able to sit back & watch all the happiness happen around me. My daughter found her perfect dress with Stacey’s expert help. We had the most fun with Audrey, Amelia and Stacey from the minute we walked in the door. A lot of fun memories were made (including the tornado that came through Jackson that day) and I feel absolutely confident that we won’t have to worry about a thing. I want to go back just to have fun with the ladies. See our picture attached! :)
5 days before my step-son’s wedding, I went to pick up my dress from another bridal shop and I was not happy with how the dress fit me. I called Angie in a panic to see if she could help me. She found a beautiful dress in my size and shipped it overnight. The dress was just what I was looking for...simple and elegant. I loved the fabric and the fit. Angie saved the day for me!! I also purchased another dress for my son’s wedding that was 2 weeks prior to this wedding and I absolutely loved the dress!! The ladies at Bridal Path know how to help you find the style that is most flattering to your body type. They are the best when it comes to helping mothers of the bride/groom find their perfect dress!! Thank y’all for everything!
Best experience ever - not only did Audrey find THE perfect mob dress for me - I actually had several options! Highly recommend going to the Bridal Path for your dress!
Absolute best experience wedding dress shopping/purchasing with the Bridal Path!!!!With unforeseen circumstances that no one could have ever imagined with my original dress getting stuck in Myanmar due to civil unrest just a month before our wedding; Taylor and Audrey and all of The Bridal Path team went out of their way to make sure I had a dress I loved and in time for the wedding! And I ended up with a one-of-kind dress that is absolutely beautiful and I love so much. It was as if this dress was made for me it actually showed up at the store the day I went in to look for another dress. They were so accommodating and made sure I was staying as stress free as one could be and taking care of throughout the whole experience. They are amazing! Will always recommend The Bridal Path to anyone shopping for their wedding!
I came with a friend to shop for her dress here and it was the most beautiful store! All of the consultants and the new owners are the sweetest people! They had a beautiful selection of wedding dresses, mother’s dresses and bridesmaid dresses too! I recommend Bridal Path to everyone I know as soon as they get engaged!!
THE BEST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!! I was skeptical to go dress shopping again, I went to David’s bridal before here and it was a bad experience. I went here and I got treated like a true queen. They welcomed me & helped me find my dream dress!! 100% recommend, not only did they focus on me one-on-one but their prices are awesome! I love this place, thanks so much for making my true come true Bridal Path!!!!
Angie was so kind, knowledgeable and had lots patience. I do not like to shop and she made it enjoyable. I dreaded shopping for the MOTB dress the most and it was painless. Thank you!
Hey there! The Bridal Path has been such a wonderful piece of Jackson, MS wedding tradition for the last 50 years. I have owned The Bridal Path for the last 2 years, and I totally understand that if you’re reading this you may see some negative reviews from before we became the owners of The Bridal Path. I know that nobody is perfect, but it hurts my heart that we had to inherit some negative reviews that do not reflect the atmosphere, experience, and customer service of today’s Bridal Path. I would love to serve you and make sure you have the unforgettable shopping experience you dream of. We are very proud of our history, but want you to know that The Bridal Path is the place of today’s brides dreams! We love being a one stop shop for bridal gowns, mothers, bridesmaids, and accessories! Thank you so much for taking the time to consider us on your wedding planning journey If you would like to chat, please reach out to me at the store any time!
Angie was extremely personable and attentive. I felt very comfortable with her. Prices of dresses here were very reasonable. I did not feel any pressure at all to buy anything. I ended up finding the perfect dress for me! Thank you again Angie.
The BEST customer service with super friendly and knowledgeable staff. The new owners have totally redone the store and it is beautiful! Wouldn’t recommend any other store for brides, bridesmaids and mother of the bride dresses!! AND they have in-house alterations and their seamstresses do the most professional job!!
I went to the bridal path for my wedding dress and it was an amazing experience. I said yes to the dress on my first visit and that was something I never expected. The staff was amazing throughout the entire experience- from shopping, to alterations, to finding the perfect veil and accessories. Their attitudes, helpfulness, and genuine love for what they do radiates. I couldn’t of been more please with the service that was provided. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking!
The staff made me feel so special. I found the perfect dress for my son’s wedding day. 😊
Everyone at the Bridal Path were so helpful and knowledgeable of everything bridal from gowns, veils, bridesmaids dresses, accessories, shoes, mother of bride and groom dresses etc. They make the process so simple and fun! Everyone is so happy and the store is so beautiful!! Highly recommend the Bridal Path to take the stress off and make it the best experience ever!!!💗💗💗
We loved our experience finding my Mother of the Bride dress . The store was beautiful, the staff was amazing and so helpful ! So many dresses to choose from, definitely making it worth our drive from Louisiana ! Thanks so much for helping me check that off my list !!
The Bridal Path has been in business for over 50 years helping brides, mothers, bridesmaids, and even flower girls. The team at The Bridal Path always has your best interest at heart and would do literally anything to make your big day perfect. They go above and beyond for their customers! 10/10 recommend to any future brides!!!
Audrey is the best!! She met with me not once, but three separate times to ensure my dress and my bridesmaid dresses were perfect. Everyone at Bridal Path was so sweet and helpful. I cant wait for my dress and veil to come in!!
Very friendly staff!! Stacy did an amazing job helping me find my perfect dress, and their seamstress made it perfect for me!! I also have 9 bridesmaids and all were able to get the dress they wanted, and all turned out beautifully ❤
I went in and bought my dress here almost a month ago. I would 10/10 recommend Bridal Path to anyone in the market for a wedding dress or bridesmaids dresses. My mom and I drove up to the store and I immediately pointed to one of the dresses in the window and said “I wanna try that one on!” And sure enough it was my dress!! Audrey was SO helpful and attentive when working with me. She took time to listen to what I liked and didn’t like in each dress, and I never once felt like she was just trying to hurry up and sell me a dress or push me out of my price range like I did at other stores. It was so obvious that she has a passion for helping women find a dress that they will feel beautiful in on the most important day of their lives. I also went back and chose my bridesmaids dresses a few days later and it was another great experience. I really think they have the most beautiful selection of dresses in town, and the prices were surprisingly affordable. By far the best experience I could have hoped for. 💕
Thoughtful service.
Ignore the old reviews, the Bridal Path is under new ownership! Their dress selection is impressive, but the employees are what made my experience so special. Attentive and patient Audrey worked with me and my mother for over 3 hours to find my perfect dress. She even dressed up in a bridesmaid dress so I could see the effect. I cant say enough nice things about the Bridal Path or their employees and highly recommend it to anyone in Mississippi looking for their wedding or debutante dress!
I loved my experience buying my wedding dress from The Bridal Path. Their vast inventory is organized according to price, and they were uncomplainingly helpful in my search for a dress in a certain price range. I appreciated how eager they were to help find the dress that each individual bride wants, regardless of their own taste (though they have excellent taste!). When I found a dress I loved but wanted to add straps, they quickly suggested the perfect solution and made it happen. When I found the dress I wanted, they all celebrated with me, and they even mailed a handwritten note after I purchased my dress! They helped with veil and accessory selection and made fittings a breeze. It was convenient, surprisingly in my budget, and fun. All the people I interacted with were down-to-earth and great at what they do. Im so glad I got my dress from The Bridal Path!
First, the online ordering process was unclear and didn’t make sense for someone who lives outside of Jackson (bridesmaid dress). The form left out quite a bit of necessary information and didn’t provide info about payment, follow up, or dress style. Most importantly: I have lost 60+ pounds in the last 7 months, and I was truly in between two sizes when I ordered the dress two months ago for a wedding three months from now. I am still in the process of losing weight, so I ordered the smaller size. The only concern was around my waist, but at time of ordering it was six months prior to the wedding. They contacted the bride (not once did they contact me) and told her the dress wouldn’t fit and that I needed to size up. She explained that I had lost even more weight since ordering the dress, and that they needed to order the size I selected.I picked up my dress, and they ordered a different size than what I ordered and paid for, and not once did they contact me to talk about the dress size. When I picked it up, I told them that this was not the size I ordered. Her response was, “well alterations will cost the same whether they’re taking up one inch or six inches.”If I ordered a size that was too small and didn’t fit, that’s on me. That is my fault. It is not up to your discretion to order a size that you think should fit before consulting me (and when i’ve never stepped foot into your physical store prior to ordering the dress). Poor customer service and bad business.
Wonderful experience! I purchased my wedding dress from this bridal boutique. All of the employees were very helpful, knowledgeable, and fun! Stacy helped me find the perfect dress and didnt try to push me out of my price range and she was super sweet and fun to work with. The store is beautiful and organized by price. I will be recommending this store to any future brides!
The bridal path exceeded every expectation I had when thinking about the process of wedding dress shopping. From the day I picked out my dress, the ladies at the bridal path have been like family. When alterations started, my dress was so stubborn and did not want to fit right. Mrs. Wanda, the sweetest and BEST seamstress, worked diligently to make sure it was perfect! 6 alterations appointments later, my dress is absolutely beautiful and I couldn’t be happier!!! They wanted me to be 100% satisfied, and never charged more to fix any spot in my dress after the initial alterations appointment. If you’re wanting a great selection of dresses, and an even better staff to work with, the bridal path is where to go!!
Posting on my Fiancé’s account but Bridal Path is AMAZING. The experience I had there wasperfect and everything I imagined it would be. Stacy did a wonderful job and really showed she cared. I went other places to look for bridesmaids dresses but they had the best selection. They were all beautiful and I picked the perfect one for my bridesmaids here. So thankful for all the lovely people at Bridal Path!- Mary Pearson
I purchased my Mother-Of-The-Groom dress from The Bridal Path. Olivia and Gail Savage were such a big help. They also took the extra time to work with my granddaughter in selecting the most perfect flower-girl dress. She felt and looked like a little princess! From choosing and ordering our dresses, to final alterations, the employees at The Bridal Path couldn’t have been more accommodating, and pleasant to work with. The whole experience was wonderful, and with their expertise, my son and new daughter-in-law’s wedding was unforgettable!!
This store is now under new ownership so ignore the old reviews!!! They were so helpful and happy to have my business. I went in there and was able to find the perfect dress without breaking the bank. My day will be complete perfection and I couldnt have done it without each of these women. Go in and let them help you with your wedding or event. You will not regret it!!
I had the best experience finding the perfect dress! The ladies there are so helpful and patient. I highly recommend Bridal Path!
Stacy was amazing! She was very attentive, she helped my daughter find her “yes” dress. Our entire experience was both professional and comfortable.
After dealing with my bridesmaids buying their dresses here, and my best friend choosing bridesmaids dresses here- I will NEVER waste my time or money at this store again. Beautiful, expensive dresses but TERRIBLE customer service. Every single person weve dealt with at the Bridal Path (except for one, sweet younger girl) has been so rude! One friend was told are you sure you want to order that size, because you arent a 2. Another friend was told dont worry, we have dresses that come in your size Speaking of size, Im not sure what sizing chart they go by, but I would have to assume they size everyone up extreme amounts on purpose. Maybe they do it in hopes that we will get our dresses altered there and they will make more money? The alterations of my $260 dress will now cause me to spend well over $300 on a bridesmaid dress! I was sized as an 8 (at 124 lbs and 53-mind you, I was 10 weeks postpartum- but I wasnt even near a size 8 at 36 weeks pregnant!!) They continued to argue that I was in fact a size 8 even when the dress I tried on was an 8- which was clamped with THREE large clamps to keep the dress up! (They dont keep smaller sizes in stock, so literally everything I tried on had to be clamped multiple times) After somewhat of a fight, they agreed to let me order a size 6. I went 6 months later (because it took so long to get the dresses in) to finally pick up my dress, and kindly asked if I could compare the color with another one of our bridesmaids dresses since our bride was worried the colors were different. After being told they were cut from the same cloth, I dont know why shes worried, they finally agreed to let me compare colors. The colors were fine, but I got home to try on my size 6 dress, and it literally falls off of me- as it does with every other bridesmaid in this wedding party. They may have the best dresses in Jackson, but I promise their attitudes and how stuck up they are is NOT worth the hassle! Dont waste your money- I can guarantee that you will spend twice as much because of the alterations that will be required!
These two ladies could not have been any more helpful!!! They opened their doors to us and encouraged my daughter to try on as many dresses as she wanted. We felt completely take care of. Great experience all around!!
Absolutely horrible! The dresses are nice, expensive but nice, and the girl that helped me was nice, but the owner is RUDE!!! I would NEVER buy anything from here. We were trying to decide on a dress and called her in to ask about a deposit, and before we could even ask, she said, well if you walk out and we sell it its gone. We then explained that we would like to know how much of a deposit we needed to put down in order for her to hold it until Tuesday (this was on a Saturday and they are closed on Sunday and Monday). She told us we had to pay in full, and if we didnt, we couldnt get our 15% discount if we called and bought it on Tuesday. All the while being VERY rude. Keep in mind, this was a $1600 purchase we were considering. We also drove an hour and a half in an ICE STORM to come to this store (the southbound interstates were even shut down), yet she couldnt hold the dress until the next day they were open. Absolutely HORRIBLE! Do NOT waste your time here.
They are very nice and helpful and loving and theres a calm relaxing spirit in there they made me feel like a bride will be back and will refer others to them 😘🥰😍
I wasnt going to leave a review until I came across a similar situation like mine. I spent close to $450 just on alterations for my dress and it still doesnt fit. I am not a big girl and I maintain my weight. They tried to fix it twice for a charge each time. It is still too tight around my ribs and I just dont want to deal with them anymore, much less pay them anymore than I already have. My dress cost $900 and I spent $450 on alterations for a total of $1350 on my dress. Hopefully someone can still save it which will, again, cost more out of my pocket. Like the lady before me said, they have beautiful dresses but do not let them alter it! RUN!
Excellent, patient staff with a great selection of wedding dresses, mother of the bride dresses, and bridesmaids dresses for any price range! Very helpful and inciteful during your appointment.
Negative experience here all around. Decided to buy my bridesmaid gown in store rather than online because I thought service would be better. Wrong. The clerk who initially helped me didnt know how to help me choose a size and, after the seamstress helped, didnt go to ring me up--she assumed I was leaving even though I made no such indication. I was told there would be expedited shipping fees if the dress wasnt there in six months before the wedding date. If you cant get something in by then, you shouldnt say you sell it. In August I called to find the dress was there--no attempt was made to contact me though they claimed they left a message, which I double checked and found no record of whatsoever. To top it off, I was charged an extra fee even though I told I wanted to pay in full up front, which I did. So I had to pay for their clerks error. At no time was I given an apology, just excuses, and I never felt appreciated as a paying customer (no small sum, I might add). Later when I called a manager I did finally receive an apology once I called the store out on their defensiveness in the face of incompetence. Would not go back here for bridesmaid gowns. The ladies ordering theirs online at different vendors paid half what I did, received theirs faster, and didnt have to deal with clerks who couldnt or wouldnt help them.
I went to several bridal shops before going to Bridal Path. It was a last minute gesture, but it was definitely worth the time! My consultant was the great choosing several different bridal gowns, and I was in out in less than an hour. I absolutely fell and love with my bridal gown!
Please take your business elsewhere. This place is awful. When I attempted to buy my wedding dress here they treated me with such disdain as if they didn’t want my money. My mother was ready to write a check for a very expensive gown I had picked out but the way they treated us my mother refused to give them her money. I am so happy that she didn’t! I ended up getting two dresses together they were cheaper than the one and both the designer and other bridal boutique treated me much better and the gown was of better quality.
The Bridal Path has some of the prettiest dresses Ive seen in the state, and also some of the worst customer service. Once they hook you into a dress, they seem to feel they no longer owe you good customer service during fittings and alterations. I ended up paying well more than I thought I would for shoddy alterations that ended up costing way more THAN THE DRESS ITSELF.When I went in and tried on dresses, I initially got good service, and a helpful clerk who helped me find a great dress in my budget. It was a bridesmaids dress in cream that I was wearing as my wedding dress, but it was beautiful and only about $350. After I decided on the dress, I talked to the seamstress who was there at the time and described everything that I wanted done to it - taking in the waist and hips, taking in the little jacket that came with the dress, reinforcing the straps, raising the hem, eliminating the train, adding a small piece of the same fabric to the neckline to maintain modesty (they told me the extra lace fabric would cost another $60 and I agreed) - She quoted me $150. I had already explained to them all that I was on a limited budget and needed to know what everything would cost up front. They assured me that was OK, and said they could accommodate my budget. As far as I knew, we were up to less than $600 for everything. But then when I actually got to the fittings, measurements, and paying for the alterations, a different seamstress started tacking on more and more charges for each thing outside of what I was originally quoted. I ended up having to change some of my plans to save money (decided to keep the train and just have it bustled - it needed to be off the ground since I was having an outdoor wedding in the country). When I complained to the clerks about the increases, they said their internal alterations department was technically a separate business, from the Bridal Path, and they couldnt do anything about it. They assured me the second lady was a master seamstress and if I wanted my dress to turn out right, Id listen to her. They also treated me very rudely and snottily and acted like they were above me and my limited budget. They made me feel like they were doing me a favor just to work with me. It was like I was dealing with a completely different business than what I had started out with. Their attitudes towards me were completely different after I was committed. When I finally got my dress back and my final bill, I was very disappointed. The alterations looked shoddily done, the straps were still hanging on by only a few threads so I was terrified the whole time they were going to break, and the dress still didnt fit quite right, especially the jacket. The jacket honestly didnt feel like it had been altered from its original fit at all. As for the hem/train- even though Id been very clear that I was wearing flats and that I needed the hem and train (when bustled) to come up well off the ground, it was still dragging the ground. Even though Id started the alterations process several months before the wedding and had my last fitting about 2 months before, by the time they got done, there wasnt time for any further corrections, and I was terrified she would try to charge me more money for it anyway. I ended up almost tripping over the hem and bustled train and getting leaves and dirt on it throughout the course of the wedding and reception.Ultimately, the final bill came to about $950. WELL over the $600 I had initially thought Id be paying. And I wasnt even happy with the result. And Id been treated like dirt the whole time. It really took what could have been a great beautiful experience and soured it for me. Now, every time I look at my dress, I think about how beautiful it could have looked on me, and how much better of an experience I could have had. Bridal Path failed miserably at the follow through on their sale. BOTTOM LINE: IF you can get a dress you love there, great... but DO NOT use their alterations. Just buy the dress, get out, and go get the alterations somewhere else!
BEWARE OF THIS BUSINESS!! After trying on several wedding dresses, a sales clerk went to “look in the back” and brought out a beautiful Maggie Sottero dress. The dress was huge and my mom and I were told it was DISCONTINUED, which is why it wasn’t on the floor. The first seamstress I saw there made a comment that was barely audible and walked away even after my mom continued to ask questions. The other ladies convinced me that alterations were possible and offered a discount if I paid the deposit that day. I needed time to consider such a purchase and left. The next day, I received a voicemail offering the same discount if I came back. I went back 2 days later and paid the deposit believing this dress was no longer made and that alterations wouldn’t be a big deal. I sent two other seamstresses, not a part of their store, pictures of how big the dress was. Both told me that the extent of those alterations would ruin the integrity of the dress and returned to the Bridal Path in tears. Again, they told me alterations could be done. My wedding planner convinced me to go to another bridal shop. Lo and behold, I find out the dress I loved was NOT discontinued and was available in my size and could be ordered in time for my wedding. We sent a letter in reference to this and their response was, “We never said it was discontinued, just that it could not be ordered in your size in time.” At the time the deposit was made, they named Maggie Sottero as a designer on their website. 2 weeks later, the name disappeared from their list of designers. They NEVER mentioned this during the 3 different times I went to the store. I sent a letter shortly after stating that I no longer wanted to do business with them (dress never left the shop). Then, I received an invoice for alterations that was dated 2 days AFTER my wedding even though I only paid a deposit. I didn’t even receive that invoice in the mail until 12 days after my wedding date. My measurements were never taken. This entire experience was a nightmare so I encourage anyone brave enough to do business with them to do your research about the dress you find and RECORD your interactions while there. No one deserves to deal with that kind of stress, anxiety, and betrayal when preparing for such a special day.
Phenomenal customer service and great communication!!!
I found both my wedding dress and bridemaid dresses from this shop. The ladies were so kind and helpful throughout the whole process.
The only reason this stores recieves even ONE star from me is because it is required to leave a review. I have been a bridesmaid in two different weddings, two years apart, in which the bride chose gowns from Bridal Path. And understandably so-they are arguably the prettiest dresses in Jackson. The first experience I had in early 2014 was remarkably unpleasant. The two women behind the desk were snooty and barely spoke to me except to take my alterations and my money. Realizing that everyone has bad days, or even bad months, I chalked it up to that and let it go.Flash forward to 2 years later, the same women (one slender lady with medium length brown hair stands out, in particular) treat me and a few of the other ladies of the bridal party in the exact same rude, condescending manner. Most notably, she made a sidewise remark to one of the bridesmaids regarding her size. Absolutely appalling. No one should comment on anyones size EVER in my opinion-but it was especially offensive to me because this bridesmaid is a healthy body type, nothing beyond what every average female clothing store in the U.S. carries. Shame on you!Yes, the dresses are gorgeous. But as Lindsey wrote, shopping there is absolutely NOT worth the poor, tasteless customer service you will receive. Not a smile on a face to greet you in this store.Im getting married in June 2017 and will have the budget to afford a dress such as you would find here. However, I will not be giving Bridal Path a dime. I would rather skip the convenience of shopping locally and go to one of our neighboring states, than to give these seemingly shallow, arrogant women any more of time and money. Ladies of Bridal Path-youve lost my business and what could have been money for a wedding dress and 4 bridesmaids gowns.*side note-there was ONE friendly, normal associate there who had just started. I believe her name was Heather.
Stunning selection of dresses!
