We stopped by on our way up to the Grand Tetons. Amazing meat selections. New York Strip Buffalo steaks cooked just as Pete advised, on high heat to internal temp 120F, with a good dash of Midnite trail boss rub, did just the trick. The result was melt in your mouth steaks. Best campside meal in history!

This place is (to my knowledge) the only butcher in town that has bison, elk, and boar. not to mention smoked salmon, and trout. They have it all, even huckleberries!The service here too, it’s impeccable. The gentleman at the register greets you with a strong voice and makes you feel welcome by answering any questions you may have. I even once walked in and heard him discussing recipes with another customer. Extremely nice environment and the prices are wonderful for the meat you’re getting access too!Highly recommend 1,000x and more to anyone.

The people there are friendly as all out but the buffalo steaks just taste like beef. It was fun conversation, but a serious waste of money.

I can understand some of the steaks being underweight, but ground should be spot on. Every 1lb bag of Elk was about a quarter of an ounce short. The meat quality was very good and saved the experience for me.

Having bought meat on-line, we knew the meat was good. This was the first time visiting the store and I must say, I was a little disappointed. The lady assisting us didnt seem to really want to be there and although I spent almost $300, she refused to let me buy some dry ice. (Flying out the next day). Instead, I went to the grocery store next door. I will discount her mood (we all have our days) and still recommend this store. We love elk meat, and this is the best we have found!

One of the best butcher shops I’ve ever visited (and I’ve traveled the entire country butcher shop to butcher shop). Their game meat selection and the cuts their offer are incredible. Ordered Elk Tenderloin and buffalo steaks for my Fathers birthday. Arrived on time and were delicious. Will be ordering more.

Their ground bison is great and the bison fillets are delicious, however quite a few of the fillets are not all in one piece. Many are split almost into 2 pieces such that we have to toothpick them to retain the shape. We like our steaks rare, so the size and shape is important.

Best spot to get some really good natural meat in Jackson. Also awesome place to shop for gifts (both in the store and online). Highly recommend!!

Bought about 500 dollars worth of meat. Elk filets were fine but the buffalo rib eye steak was the toughest meat I have ever chewed on and lost. Each bite I managed to reduced to a fiber ball and then spit it out. I am a rancher, this animal must have been quite old. Then I sent an email, no response. I called, they said they would call me back. Call me back? How about tending to the problem, perhaps even an apology.

A great place for bison meat. They carry all cuts and will ship it for you. Bison meat is not inexpensive compared to beef, but it is tasty and worth the extra expense every once in awhile. If you never have had bison meat, treat yourself to some. Prepared correctly, it is excellent. Just remember that it does not like to be overcooked.

Unassuming place, but the best buffalo and elk Ive ever had. Bison Ribeyes and Elk Tri-tip were both exception and very reasonably priced. Worth a visit if youre in Jackson!

Exceeded my expectation. Jerky was by far the best ever.... not even a fair game. The owner cares about the business he is in, the product he sells and the people he sell to. Dont walk there, dont drive.... Stampede there as fast as you can.

We are from out of town and pull up to get some bison burgers, reviews say their so great, website says they are open....but its closed. Frustrated
