My wife and I went in today to get a skirt steak today. I asked if it could be tenderized because we wanted to make pinwheels. The employee said “I don’t know if they have already sanitized the machine, we close in hour but I’ll go check.” As he was asking, I heard the guy slam the steak down on the counter. I said “if it’s going to be a problem then never mind.” They replied “no we’ll do it, no problem”… If you want to leave earlier, then close earlier. I expect the service of a business until it closes. I understand people have bad days, but I didn’t expect this from “Prime Cuts!” As always your meats were top notch! Have a nice day.

PC has an incredible wealth of GF items - I have never seen a selection like this at any Jackson-area grocers, especially at such an affordable price. Not picture: Full GF baking section as well!The staff was incredibly cordial - I will definitely be going back often!

So Im going to church this up so it can be read and not removed from the reviews. To start there meat is absurdly over priced, and heavily marbled. For a place that is supposed to have prime beef its far from it. My biggest problem is the items you may like they never order or make enough according to the demand. So to recap they wont have what you want so dont waste your time or money there.

Awesome! I tentatively bought the Kobe sirloin steaks not really knowing what to expect....but after grilling to med rare these were just as tender as the very best filet mignon..and had more flavor..these are now my go-tos when I grill out

Its a great place to buy exceptional food! It has just gotten too pricey for me to shop there regularly ever since the unfortunate small business effects from Covid. But its definitely the first place I go to get ingredients for special occasion dinners, birthdays or when Im craving a Key Lime pie ect!

Unique, quality fare. Friendly, helpful staff. Always clean. LOVE their little deli counter in the back. A little pricey overall, but thats because of the high quality you find here.

I couldnt find Red Mills whole wheat pastry flour in Krogers or Pollys. I called them, they ordered it & I had it the next day! Thats great customer service! Lots of nice novelty food items in their store.

Wow what a great selection. Picked up beef short ribs, smoked whitefish, and a dozen oysters. Added an oyster knife as well. Waiting to hear back about getting a case of snow crab...like this place already!

Supporting small family businesses is important for every community, But when family businesses wont enforce basic rules to protect the community and keep us safe what are we to do?With immunocompromised family members, the reluctance to enforce the states mask mandate and the CDC guidelines on your customers puts my family and many others risk... and for what?

This is one of the few places in Jackson you’ll find locally grown produce, good quality dairy products, and some antibiotic/hormone free meats. They also carry the best honey in our region, from the Sand Hill in Munith.

Best meat market around. They have the absolute best cuts of everything you’d want. But, despite having a premiere lineup of goods, the absolute best part is the staff. They are incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. I recommend just asking the folks behind the counter what they recommend today, how they would spice something, or how they would prepare something. They haven’t failed me yet. It’s my warm weather go to for grilling, BBQ, and tailgating.

So much so good here. My top 3 in no particular order. The meal deal which is an entree and 2 sides for i think 7.99 is a reason not to cook for sure, the smoked salmon and Hunter sausage in many flavors. Pineapple is my favorite.

I love the fact that you can get chocolate milk in glass bottles here! Obviously the meat choices are good, prices are pretty fair, but my kids and I love the extra stuff you can get here like the chocolate milk, the yogurt pretzels and more! Its a super clean store with friendly help too!

Their meat selection is excellent, ESPECIALLY the bacon. Their hamburger patties are always delicious, and I can almost never resist the Grand Traverse pies they have at their checkout counter.Service is always friendly and efficient. Only thing I dont really like are their selection of deli meats and salads (they lack flavor and they dont preserve for long,) but I feel like I cant really blame the staff for that.

Very friendly staff. Huge selection at the meat counter. Yummy food at the deli counter. Fresh bread from an Indiana bakery is delicious. Delicious cocktail sauce for shrimp... Glad we stumbled on this place!

I can find certain cuts or meats there that I cant find else where. Some cuts have good prices. They have a mini buffet that serves hearty foods. Great desserts. I would shop there all the time if I can remember to go there. The only down side is location is a bit far, breads are pricey and certain cuts are costly, store is a bit small. I wish they could expand to a Whole Foods size store.

Only place in town I go to for butchery, full of all sorts of culinary paraphernalia. Very comforting atmosphere, makes pretty good food in the back as well. Beef pot pies on tuesday and thursday are delicious.

Moldy food. When we called to let them know, they just replied OK, thanks... Not concerned at all that they are sending moldy food out the door.Weve enjoyed going to Prime Cuts over the years. When we moved out of the city of Jackson, we still made it a point to return for steaks, fish, and thier fresh sides. Looks like weve made our last purchase there, and will try out one of the butchers closer to our new home. Not worth risking eating spoiled food, since they dont seem to care much that its going out the door. As a warning to anyone who purchased their homestyle lobster mac n cheese with a sell by date of 07/25/19, its gone bad and you dont want to eat it! Pictures tell it all.

Poor business model, ordered a Turkey a couple weeks ago. Said to come in the day before Thanksgiving. Had already given away the one I ordered. Also, people behind the counter being disrespectful and running their mouth instead of helping to work through the issue. Sad!
