Although everyone was very nice, I was very disappointed with the outcome. I was told by Dr Lewis that the best they could correct my vision was 20/35 and that I probably would not even notice the difference. I have since been to the Duke University Eye Center in Raleigh Dunham and they corrected my vision to 20/25.Since I had a significant loss of vision in my right eye I tried multiple times to talk to Dr Lewis, but she never returned my calls, although a clinician did get back with me.Either their equipment is not capable or the skills are simply not there or they do not care.
I went to the Eye Care Group on Wednesday and was so impressed with the care I received. Ever single person I interacted with from the front desk to the nurses to the intern (she was amazing and did such a great job) to Dr. Duncan were so kind and professional. Every person asked how I was doing and showed genuine interest. They were lighthearted and interacted like real people. I also noticed that a lot of the equipment and computer systems were updated. I had very little wait time. So pleased. Thank you thank you.
I have been going here for almost ten years now and Ive always had a great experience. I see Dr. Lewis, she is wonderful and super sweet. Im very happy with their service and would definitely recommend.
Absolutely one of the best customer service experiences I have ever had! I originally went to a different eye clinic for my exam. I had a terrible experience there and had to find somewhere else to purchase my glasses. I was told to try this place out. These employees were so nice from the moment I walked in. They sent me over to all the glasses so I could see if there was anything I liked first, and then sent someone over to help me pick some out. Morgan was my STYLIST and she was AMAZING! She is probably one of the most patient people I know now. She let me take my time and I never felt rushed at all. I came back about three times before I finally picked out my two pairs of glasses. Each time Morgan was so sweet and understanding of my indecisiveness. After I finalized my sale I had my everyday glasses for three days. I was not overly happy with how they looked on me. I then went back again... Bless Morgans heart. I was able to order a different pair and keep the ones I had till my new ones came in. (Of course I went with my original pick this time...) Morgan kept me up to date on the status of where my glasses were when it was taking longer than normal to come in. The day they came in I think she was as excited as I was. Overall it was an awesome experience and Morgan needs some recognition for her customer service and patients.
Loved the staff n Dr. Lewis, up and out of there in no time at all. They treated you with concern, respect n kindness. They addressed n resolved your issues in no time at all. They were very professional on phone calls, receptionist, Dr’s assistant n Dr. Lewis, till the time you walked out. I had to get some records n had no issues whatsoever with personnel. Their all so professional, caring n made sure all you needs were to excellent.
My appointment today went well. There was not a long wait time. All of the staff members were very nice & helpful. I saw Dr. Lewis, & she was extremely nice & explained things well. Good experience!
Called them ready to spend several hundred dollars on a new pair of Oakley glasses. They were completely unhelpful. I called them because they were on my insurance, but they would not give me any information over the phone. I told them exactly what I wanted and needed and they said I had to come in. 45 minutes away! Probably bait and switch to put some big sale on me. Beware. Wish I could speak to a manager, but I will NEVER step foot in this place. Plenty of other dealers that sell Oakley. BEWARE of this place. I am calling my insurance this weekend about them.
Dr. Lindy Lewis is the best and Ill trust my eyes to no one else! Again, she nailed my prescription with precision and accuracy. The new X lens is amazing and resolves peripheral/transitional issues that came with older technology. Couldnt be happier with my experience! -Dr. Medling
I was underwhelmed when I took my daughter here to have an eye exam. The technician did not greet her by name or introduce herself. She did not explain anything she did. My daughter is 7 and can understand. I had to position her head correctly on the machine. The doctor was very nice, worked well with my daughter, and I have no complaints about her.I also had to purchase glasses there for my 3 year old daughter. I have had better experiences purchasing glasses at other providers. There was a mix-up with my insurance, and they were difficult to get in touch with. They also did not notify me when her glasses were ready, until I contacted them 2 weeks later.
We went their and ordered glass ed for my 20 month old that they said were covered by insurance. We were fitted and told they would be in in a week. The next day the lady called and told us we could pick a color. So we did. A week later I called to check the status only to finding that the pair wasn’t covered and the lady ordered a completely difference pair. We were never informed of this nor gave permission for these to be ordered and put through insurance. After trying them on our daughter they were too big. They couldn’t order another pair until insurance refunded and swnt back the old pair. It’s been 3 weeks now. We still have no glasses. Never again will I go to this place!
Had my first visit last week, was a great experience. Dr. Kelly Duncan was great! He found a risk within my eyes, that I had not been told about, by other drs. and informed me of the potential signs to look out for. He listened to my concerns and was accommodating to my own eye wear preferences. I feel Im in great hands with this practice. Overall, I was extremely pleased with my visit.
Agreat place to get eyes tested and fitted for new glasses
Love this place. Great eye exam. Just picked up my new glasses. WOW . So comfortable, and I can see soooo good. Excellent.
After reading the negative reviews, I have to say, that is very common among most medical offices. Much of this comes from having to double book each appointment time because of people not showing up for scheduled appointments. I am guilty of this, especially with eye and dental appointments.I have never had a bad experience with the Eye Care Group. I have been a patient of theirs since they began having followed Dr. Lewis.
70% of the 2 hours spent here was waiting. Then after exam they tried to hustle you to purchase things you dont need. And they know exactly how much insurance covers for glasses so good luck finding a pair under that allowance. Came today to pick up my second pair of glasses (for some reason both pair were ordered on the same day yet arrive 3 days apart) after being notified at 8 am by telephone. Just to find out they have a staff meeting and will not open till 8:45. If I can pick up my glasses and get out of here within 30 minutes Ill be impressed. But its ok because my time and money will not be wasted here anymore.
I didnt have a great experience and will not go back, not to friendly and no explaining details on what to expect til the end when your billed is sky high!!!
My problems here started when I was picking out my glasses. The lady helping us felt the need to preach to us. Now, I am a Christian. But she was very offensive in what she said about others. I went ahead and placed my order despite how she had behaved. Then I got a phone call saying she put in for tint on my sunglasses, not polarized lens. That cost me more money. More than I was told over the phone actually. Then today when I went to pick up my sunglasses I signed in to wait. Patiently like a good girl. Before I knew it an hours had passed. This girl, whoever she was, had seen three patients that came in before me and had obviously not initialed my name as seen. I have one more pair coming in then I will never do business with this company again. They need a tighter reign on their employees. I am thankful for the lady that tried her best to fix the mess today.
Its ridiculous how long you wait at this place. Expect to sit for at least an hour before you even lay eyes on the doctor. I dont know why I keep coming here, but I wont ever do it again. The nurses are great, but the doctors ignoring the patients and their wait time is extremely unprofessional.
Had a very nice experience. The doctors and nurses are awesome.
Everyone at the Eye Care Group in Jackson has been so friendly and met my needs. Dr. Lewis, Kim Stello, Delaine and the female intern (I cant remember her name) have been so great in finding a diagnosis and getting me treatment. I have never had issues with insurance, calls to pick up glasses or contacts, or anything else. They have provided excellent care and go beyond their requirements and build relationships with patients. They take time to listen, which is very important to me. Dr. Lewis sent me for a topography of my eye even though she had no real reason to as my condition was different from other cases she had seen. But she sent me for the test anyways which led to my diagnosis and treatment. Im so very thankful for them!
I have been a long time patient here, everyone is friendly and are always willing to help out.
I was a new patient and the entire appt took about an hour from the time I signed in until the time I got back in my car. The screenings at the beginnning with the technician were efficient and uneventful. Dr. Duncan was thorough and I didnt feel rushed in talking through my questions. I will go back for annual checkups and enjoyed my experience.
Friendly and knowledgeable staff, I have used them for years for my contacts, eyeware, and perscriptions. Their office is always clean as well.
They are horrible.. Bad expericence did not call when glasses came in, i had to call them, then they were the wrong prescriptions. also wanted to get contact prescriptions took over 2wks.
The wait time is wayyyyyyyyy to long no matter what the excuse is
This will be the last time I, or anyone I am acuanted we it for that matter, will EVER visit this establishment! If I could have given 0 stars or less, I would have. First, they are holding my contact prescription hostage. Ive never been to an business where you pay for an exam, and just because you wish to purchase merchandise from a different provider, the staff becomes rude and abrasive. I went in today because I had received a phone call on Monday stating that my daughters glasses were ready to be picked up. When I arrived today, on Wednesday, I was told that they were not there. Now, this was AFTER I had already staTed to the nurse that I wold NOT be giving them any additional money to obtain my contact prescription. Ironic, right? This place makes you wait an EXTREMELY long time, then does not provide the service in which you and your insurance have PAYED them to provide.
Was great with my kids
This place sucks! Never again for myself or others hopefully
Good sunglasses
Several errors...
