Having solar installed has been great. The panels are working perfectly and the app it uses is great. I find myself looking at it multiple times a day to see what we are getting. Harvest Solar was always responsive with questions, even the dumb ones I had.We have high wind at our house (strong enough to wake us up in the middle of the night) and so far the panels havent ever moved, the mounting system is solid and that was one of my biggest concerns. I expected them to shake a bit but it was installed great. Id highly recommend getting your solar installed with Harvest Solar.

Super experience, great team effort by the post drivers, installers, electricians and underground service folks. Our rep, Jake Schuster, apparently never sleeps. His turn-around on texts and emails was unbelievable fast. Our system is up, linked to the internet and power-grid, and making money for us today. We ended up almost 2 mos. ahead of schedule.

This is a good, honest company. We had quotes from several other companies who were pushy and overpriced. The agents from Harvest Solar were very professional, easy to work with, and easy to get a hold of for any questions or concerns. This company also deals in high-quality, top rated solar panels. The 33-panel system was planned well (fit the area exactly) and expediently. So far, we are happy with our system and the look of the panels.

They installed a 20 panel system (ground mount) I consulted with 3 companies related to the project. Jake was very responsive, knew how it works with CE Credits, what my needs were and gave great advise. Installation was fast, professional and staff was great (permits were delayed due to Covid - nothing anybody could do). I bought a grid interconnected system from them last summer. The installation didn’t go smoothly, but it was the summer of Covid. It took several months to work everything out but HS worked with equipment manufacturers to warranty a bad inverter and they paid me for the under production of the system during the time when it wasn’t performing well. I appreciate their willingness to stay with it until the problem was solved.

They werent pushy and when we decided to have them do the job it was all handled by them from walking us through the loan to getting the system online. They kept us updated through the whole process. Cant express enough how easy they were to work with!

Love our unit..it looks very sleek and most dont even realize we are solar since it blends in so well with the roof. Harvest made the entire process easy and were always upfront with everything. We are looking forward to clean energy in the coming years.

They did a real job good job installing my system. They cleaned up their mess. This system didn’t perform the way I thought it should. So I wanted to add some more panels. It took me a while to get somebody to sell me the supplies to do it. They apologized several times regarding this issue. I understood it they were extremely busy. But once I got the panels put in they did come out and reprogram everything for me. And apologized again there always very consider.

The installation team did a great job and really went the extra mile to make sure things were not just installed to plan, but even modifying small details to make sure the system was better than just as planned. This is a very professional company, from my sales person (John Blattner) to the installation crew. The initial analysis was the most thorough and quick of any company I contacted, and they did the installation and permitting in a timely manner. It seemed from their web site that they focused mainly on farm systems, but they are obviously keen on residential installations as well, and I was impressed by their well equipped and quite new-looking installation vehicles. It took just two days for them to install the system once permits were in place. Seems like a great outfit to me!

Harvest Energy installed our 7 kW SunPower system last summer, and we have been generating electricity since. Once we got through the dreary and cloudy winter days, the sun has been generating more electricity for us than we need. I can recommend doing business with Harvest Energy, and happy to answer any questions.

We contracted with Harvest to install a 11.4 kW solar system at our farm in May 2017. The firm was very professional and efficient over the course of the project: on-time, on-budget, and very responsive to questions and issues as they arose. Ken Zebarah, the salesman with whom we worked, was especially helpful and engaged throughout the project. We are very satisfied with the Harvests work and the performance of the system.

We have repeatedly requested a paid in full invoice that lists a detailed breakdown of our purchase of solar equipment to no avail. The bill was paid in full upon purchase last year. As we have not received the detailed breakdown we are unable to insure our system. Nor does it work properly to it said capacity for the needs that we had requested. It falls way short.

Ken at harvest was great to work with, very thorough and he was able to answer every question we had. When the crew came to install our system they were efficient and respectful of our property.

Harvest Energy installed a 10.08kw ground array at my home this year, and I couldnt be more happy with my investment. Ken Zebarah made the whole process very easy from my first contact until the job was complete. Harvest Energy Solutions and team are top notch. Their crew took pride in what they do, and it showed. They went above and beyond to make sure my wife and I had a great experience with the solar power instillation. They handled engineering a rooftop setup for my barns, permitting, dealing with consumers power, installing the system, electrical work, trenching and yard cleanup. My wife commented everyday on how it was nice to see a group of people that were competent, enjoyed their job, and a pleasure to work with. (I think she had lost a little faith with our construction contractor that remodeled our home).Five months after their job was complete and they were fully paid, I finally got an internet provider to get my wireless hooked up (I live in the sticks and have limited options). They did a horrible job. Harvest Energy Solutions noticed the poor workmanship when they came to hook their system up to the internet. They let us know about it, and said they would take care of everything. They contacted the internet guys even though they had nothing to do with hiring them. They even came onsite and met with them to explain the problem. They stayed until the job was complete to make sure no corners were cut.To recap, if youre looking for a solar power company that takes pride in their job, and strives to make sure youre happy with your final product, check these guys out. They use US made panels that are best in class for efficiency and carry a great peace of mind warranty. To top it off, they were very competitively priced too!

We started our solar project in March of this year, and realized that one of the first steps would be to convince our Home Owners Association (HOA) that solar was a good idea for our neighborhood. They did not have any policy in place, so we introduced them to the project, with Harvest Energy presenting at one of the board meetings.There was interest from the HOA board, but they needed a little more time and background information, and of course they needed to come up with some language to craft their policy. Working with John Blattner of Harvest Energy, I had decided to use SunPower panels, based on their efficiency and aesthetic appeal. We chose the Signature Black X21 350 W panels with anti-reflective glass.As we wound through the regulations and governmental permit requirements, Harvest Energy kept me updated on the process. By August we had received all the necessary permissions and permits, and the HOA had put together a simple, yet comprehensive policy. Once we got the official go ahead from our HOA, the panels were installed and after a couple weeks and the final inspection by our electricity supplier, DTE, the system was energized we started generating electricity on October 2. Once we had all the permits, the installation went quickly and smoothly, only taking about 3 days.The process was long, but this is what you can expect when you start from zero. Ours was the first house in our neighborhood to put in solar energy generation, so it had to follow the process. I appreciate the legwork done by John Blattner of Harvest Energy, but also the work done by our HOA to come up with a reasonable policy in a relatively short time. They are all volunteers, so they were doing their work in the evenings and weekends to come up with a policy. Special thanks to our Architecture Enforcement Committee chair for creating the language for the policy.Now that we are producing, I am really satisfied with the overall result. The panels look great and are generating enough electricity over the past week to offset over 80% of our electricity demand. We sourced the project with an expectation of meeting 62% of our needs. Of course, it will change as the amount of sunlight changes, but so far I am really happy with the production.
