I have used this location now for over 5 years. No major issues until today, 9-6-2021. Went for a pickup for 3pm, called in and notified the employee at 245pm. By 330pm I watched numerous cars come and go with their orders. I finally called back at 345pm, sat on hold for 10 minutes to be answered by hold on, another 3 minutes goes by and she asks for my name. I tell her and tell her Ive been there for an hour waiting and asked if they forgot about me. She tells me they coming now and hangs up on me. No apology, nothing at all and they were not that busy. I know times are tough right now and good employees are hard to come by but Ive watched this location slowly become run down and miserable to visit. We will drive out of our way to the Ridgeland location from now on. I did sit on hold for 20 minutes to speak with a manager before leaving this review, no one ever answered.

So I come to kroger because online it said 24hrs. I work nights got off work thought I could do my shopping. I get to the door they say that they are closed and the doors are locked. I see other shoppers inside. There are no signs or indications anywhere on what the hours are and why they are closed. Could have saved me some time if their real hours couldve been posted somewhere.

Kroger is great, but this location isnt open 24hrs....

Their grocery pick up takes at minimum 45 minutes of waiting and the staff is rude. When you do shop inside and you ask for where something is, they will tell you, “I don’t know.” I also witnessed a worker fail to help an elderly man who was clearly having trouble lifting a case of waters into the cart, so I instead helped him myself. I watched the worker look at him with headphones on and continue stocking instead of helping this man.

On website there website hours of business 24 hours and it stated hours have been updated. I was turn away my Jackson Finest Police Department with it is not there Fault. I drive all the way to this location from the reservoir from spillway location and wasted my fuel.Something needs to happen fuel or Kroger extra fuel pointsR.L.K

Kroger is despite being a chain very individualized, what I mean is that it is very herd to generalize it quite the same way one can do Walmart or Walgreens. In terms of positives the store brand foods are very fairly priced and the staff when they are there were quite friendly and they dont lambast people for not wearing masks which is good because lambasting people really doesnt do anything to help the situation. But let us start there now with the flaws that I experienced there. Firstly they really are understaffed. Also apparently in this particular location the listed times are incorrect they are not 24 hours but from 7 am to 11 pm. While I did not experience this because I would never go here past 12:00 pm this does need to be corrected.Overall go here if you need to but local business will give you a better service.

Went to Kroger in the middle of a ice storm. I was in such a rush to get home and safe. Jacobi the sale associate noticed I left two bags behind and he kept them safe until I could return. Jacobi is a good guy. He’s definitely one of my favorite employees at this location. HE DESERVES A PROMOTION AND A RAISE.

Its nice enough. Rarely the same selection as some other locations, though. Also, definitely not 24 hours. 7a-11p... maybe? The google map listing needs to be updated.

I like this Kroger because it is near my apartment and also it is a very clean store with helpful associates and also they carry my Indian food 😀

I went to the money center. Service was quick.

Had to come to town for a week. I shop at Kroger often. This is by far the ugliest dirtiest and confusing Kroger I have seen. Store needs to be rebuilt. If I could describe this store as the one headquarters forgot existed it is this one. Very good selection as with any Kroger but I got so used to the ones near home that made this one look like it wasn’t even a distant cousin.

Store hours are incorrect yet keep getting updated to 24/7 by the location. This location is NOT allowing customers to enter overnight.

This is the worst pharmacy. Its takes hours in line to be told to wait another hour. Come back the next day and be told to wait another hour. Cant even get a store manager on the phone.

Good selection of fresh fruit, vegetables, meat and dairy free items. Friendly staff who has never failed to answer a question from me courteously and with a smile.

Twenty four hours a day is very convenient, and the location is good, and have a variety of items that people are looking for. Clean and the Employees are very kind, and courtesy, and the customers are very pleasant. Everyone are so very helpful to one another. This a place to go. Thank GOD for it being open for these many of years serving the area well.

Seriously cannot stand this Kroger. It is so poorly managed for the amount of business it gets. I have lived here for years - they are always under stocked or completely out of stuff.. Not sure I’ve ever been here when more than 3 lanes are open. I’ve started driving to Madison or Flowood because it ends up taking less time, and I leave with at least 90% of what I’m looking for. Worth the drive out of town.

Slowest Kroger around, takes years to pay a bill here, always packed to capacity. Always only one person in money services. Lines are always too long. They need more workers or something!!! Currently been in line 13 minutes and only one customer has been served.

Great store but was disappointed when cashier would not scan heavy items. Bad heart so lifting heavy items and overheating due to mask made this a real effort to lift these up to counter. Glad to have the store open and thanks to dedicated workers.

Second time in this great store... first time a pharmacy inside visit where the employees were very helpful andfriendly. Today I found the same to he true if employees. Love the pharmacy has a drive through! It is a large store...had everything l needed and more...the fuel points are good, too because of using the store for groceries and pharmacy. And fuel center is right here to get your gas! Gets my new vote since recently moving to Jackson, MS. from NC.

This is the best Kroger in the Central area. I think that its a nice store but the gnats could be more under control. The gnats are always on the exotic fruits and pineapples. It made me crawly. Other than that, its a nice grocery store. Its the only 24 hour Kroger, which is convenient for everyone.

Love this Kroger. They are open 24 Hours and have fresh pressed orange juice. It is great. I even drive all the way from Clinton at night to get their fresh pressed juice, its awesome.

I used to come here very early in the morning for their breakfast. Now I usually grab sushi on the way home. Their food is continuously very good and the grocery selection is great. I love coming home because I get to go to Kroger. Never go to the sushi section hungry!!

I went during the worst time but was able to get in and out in a timely fashion. I was looking for a specific item and the manager walked by asked if she could help me find something. When I told her what I was looking for, she smiled and pointed me to the next aisle, all the way down, to the 2nd shelf on the left...very helpful! I also appreciate that all the self-checkouts were available (not like another chain that I could mention). Thanks to my Kroger card, I even saved a couple bucks.

This is probably the safest store I go to. You would think it was a precinct!But my review is mainly for the bakery and SUSHI!! I love them. I always get my cakes made here, and they turn out PERFECT! Recent had an event with other cakes, and people were surprised to find out that mine came from Kroger.My only complaint is that I asked for yellow, not white cake - but it was still great

Nice store and very clean. Employees are very helpful. Cashiers are not so friendly and helpful. I was checking out on Feb 14 Valentines Day with both of my kids with me and decided not to buy something and the cashier turned around and said a bad word while leaving the area to go get help for a void. My kids witnessed this. I don’t think she’ll be there long because of her attitude. I will always shop there no matter what.I gave 5 stars because of how great this store is, not because of employees attitudes.Thank you Kroger!

Good prices and great sale items nice staff. I bought these oatmeal raisian cookies there and I cant stop eating them. You have to try these you will fall in love with them plus its a great price.

Krogers is still a great place to shop. Prices must still be comparison shopped being that many prices can be beat that way. Customer service is still good. My downside for the night that got me sad is this particular location worked its health food section back into the appropriate sections instead of keeping a stand alone all health food section. So now you have to hunt all over the store for your particular favorite health food brands.

The floral department is one of the best. Jackie helped me and was kind and professional. Thank you for a great experience.

I love the convenience of the location, but there’s nobody working. I’m here at 2:37 on Saturday afternoon. There are only THREE lanes open for checkout, and they are each four people deep. No one is at the end of checkout to bag the groceries. Self-checkout is PACKED. I DONT WANT TO SELF CHECKOUT!!!!! My buggy is so full. Come on Kroger! Please schedule people to work. Keep your customers happy. Whatever happened to customer service? You know who has good customer service? McDades in Maywood Mart. Multiple lanes open. Plenty of people to bag my groceries AND take them to the car.

Been shopping at this location for a year now. We just moved to Jackson in June of last year. I have had mostly good experiences here. But I wanted to commend a particular employee named Jacoya. She appeared to be on a break, but saw me loading my groceries and saw that when I picked up the bag of cat litter, it busted open somehow. And cat litter went everywhere and dust in my face. She ran over and was apologetic (as if it were her fault!) and offered to take it in and go grab another one for me.That is incredible customer service!

Very large store with an excellent selection. We shopped here twice and had good experiences both times. It has a fuel station out front, which is convenient.

The customer service was great and they had great deals all around the store. The lines moved fast. The only problem I had was with the plate lunch I purchased. I dont expect the food to taste like mines but the peas, cornbread and BBQ chicken was not good at all. The peas had no seasoning at all and the cornbread had no flavor. I assume the chicken was old. I will shop there but I wont buy any food cooked there.

Visiting from Texas. Coolest southern breakfast hot bar in Kroger! Grits, sausage, biscuits, etc. Huge fruit section and amazing bouquets. Stop by to start your day!

Crowded but what store isnt this time of year. They had everything I wanted, everyone was friendly and helpful. I will shop there more often.

Kroger has gone downhill over the years. They really need some solid competition from another major grocery chain. There are some very nice people working there that have been with the company for a while but more and more often the employees are indifferent. The store is not well stocked and is often out of the products I am looking for. Just mainstream grocery brands. They have put in more self check out isles and now rarely have more than a couple full service checkouts open. Its as though they feel no need to please the customer as there is no directly competing grocer in the city.

This is one of my favorite Krogers! Everything is so fresh and great selection.

Be sure to check the expiration date for EVERYTHING you want to purchase. The quality control is lacking in this location. Ive bought expired baby food, cold beverages, granola bars and yogurts. They have a decent selection of things to choose from but they tend to be out of things often.

Krogers on I55 has some of the most incompetent employees that youd ever want to meet. I will no longer being doing business with them and hope that others will boycott this facility as well. I am not spending my hard earned money where Im not appreciated.

They are in the process of remodeling. However they have posted signs on the shelves where items can now be located within the store. Customer service is always great!

Today a 17 year old black male was stealing groceries. We offered to pay for the kids groceries so he would not face criminal charges and the white manager refused to release the charges. Stating that it was krogers policy arrest on site a thief. The sheriff stated that if the manager would release the charges that they would let the kids go, but the manager would not do so. Never getting another dime of money ever again. I refuse to shop a prejudice stores.

On Saturday 05/19/2018, I paid for 5cases of water, left the store without getting them, didnt knew until I had arrived home in Byram, MS. Look at my receipts and realized it, So I immediately called the customer service desk, I told them about the situation, they was so kind and understanding, The clerk said just bring yoyr receipts and you can come get your water. So I really appreciate their kindness without an attitude.

Hey I-55 Krogers: I dont like how the employees wont even speak to you. I feel like I need to find somewhere else to shop. Especially after the small child was taken from there parking lot. They act very distant and dont care about there customers. I notice this behavior from most of the workers that have been there for years. When you walk past them they put there heads on the air. No hello, no can I help you. Lol, can it get any worse? I-55 Krogers.

I can always find what Im looking for there and the produce is fresh! Its just not very convenient to get to, in or out of...ALWAYS crowded!

I just left Kroger on I-55 Jackson, Ms.The experience was far being great on this occasion, but I must say I usually don’t have any problems whenever I happen to stop at this location. Synie, the cashier, was very rude to me and talking down to me because my items were not ringing up for the correct price. I had pre-scanned some of the items and it read “see an associate” and some of the other items were ringing up for the wrong price. When I questioned this cashier, she replied in a hurried, matter of fact, and sarcastic tone. She would say do u want it or not? Before I could answer her she would put the item to the side and grabbed the next item. This process went on for 3-4 items. Again, with the next item, she had a matter of fact tone saying do u want it or not? I tried to ask a question but she would say I don’t have anything to do with what it’s ringing up for with a nasty tone. Do u want it or not? Then putting it to the side while the incorrect prices were still adding up on my ticket. Finally, I had to ask for a manager. She VOLUNTARILY told me her name was Synie. That appeared to be the correct spelling of her name mentioned above. I’m sending this review not because of the pricing issue but because of Synie’s response and attitude towards me. I’m not use to this type of treatment especially when I’m spending money for services or goods!

During a lengthy wait for Atlantic Salmon I personally witnessed MORE THAN ONE FLY LAND on some of the five slices out for display. After being asked if I needed help by one of the meatmen, I was informed “these were all they had left.” I continued shopping and eventually located some that had been packed and wrapped. Being that time WAS NOT something I had much of, I asked if what I found could be discounted; only to be informed by the manager that I could’ve gotten that pack sliced. Again, pressed for time I told the manager not to worry I would purchase what time constraints forced me to. I’ll do myself a favor and go to Madison, or Mr. Billy @ McDades frm now on. Note to management, don’t assume ppl have time to be inconvenienced.
