They did a great job at a great price. They were very professional and did the service my riding mower in just two days. I especially liked the fact that they showed up to pick up and drop off my mower when they said they would. I highly recommend them and will definitely use them again in the future.

Northside has always done a good job to repair my mower and pressure washer.

I called Northside Lawn to ask about getting my riding mower fixed up. The guy on the phone was really nice and said he could pick up my mower that day which was great because I didn’t have a trailer (or time). I got my mower back 4 days later fixed up and running great!Really reliable, speedy and in my opinion, very affordable.

I took my mower three times for the same problem and on the 2nd time he explain to me he had a 30 day warranty and I was about 5 days from that and he still charge me and when I got it back I still had the same problem so I took it again within the 30 days and they made me wait 20 days before they told me it was ready and advised me this is the last time it will be free when actually this last time I got it back was the only time they didn’t charge me and as soon as I got home to try it guess what the same problem . DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE. PERIOD!!!!!

These people put a gun in y husbands face after he wanted to make a complaint about bad costumers service!!!!! Apparently from the other awful reviews we should had known better than to even call this place.

I took my riding mower up there because I was having trouble with the deck belt. I specifically told the owner to call me with an estimate as it was an old mower and I was not going to put a lot of money into fixing it. The next phone call I got was a guy saying my mower was ready and I owed them $140. I complained to the owner and Told him Id give him $60 max (thats what I was willing to spend on the mower). He never apologized about the mix up, in fact, he told me that I never asked for an estimate otherwise itd be on the work order. Got the mower home, belt chews in half after running for ten minutes. I never even engaged the blade. I went back down there to talk to them about it and the mechanic tells me to bring it back and if its their fault, hell fix it for no charge. I took it down there with a belt problem and I got it back with a belt problem! Hello?! The man working the counter kicked me out and told me he was calling the police if I did not leave. Way to handle your business. Wow.

I went there Friday afternoon with my chainsaw in hand. Just needed 3 simple parts and 3 chains sharpened. 3 employees there and 2 were totally drunk. All I heard where F bombs flying in the back. Then they came up front and attack me for wearing a college shirt he didn’t like. Told him to give me my chains back and left with he cussing me the whole time. WILL NEVER GO BACK!!! The owner needs to fire these guys. Unbelievable

One star is too many! A nice, young man helped me on Thursday and took my engine to look at it. He called back quickly and told me I needed a carburetor. The following day, today I called and spoke to the owner. He didnt want to get wet in the rain and look up a number on the engine so I could order a part, and I asked if I could come get the number myself. After telling me I could, I showed up about 15 minutes later and his entire attitudes changes. He told me to take my engine home and not bring it back. What a jerk! If he doesnt want business, I can sure help him out.

I took my push mower in after having trouble keeping it running. At home, I tried an air filter and a spark plug. We decided it was timing, and wanted to let a mechanic do the work.When I picked it up, they had replaced the brand new spark plug, the flywheel key, and charged for a full hour of work.The man at the counter said, Im surprised they got it done in an hour. Id expect an hour and a half.When I told him Id seen it done in a little over ten minutes, he recommended that I take it there next time.I told him that sounded like a very good idea.The customer ahead of me complained that they had replaced his belts with used parts, and another guy got exasperated and walked out while I was waiting. Next time, Ill pay attention to those indicators.I had heard good things about Northside, but found none of it to still be true. Its like a different place. New owners? Staff? I dont know. But I wont be back.

I am not a big fan of having to have my mower repaired period, but North Side Small Engines definitely makes the chore less of a burden. I have no trailer nor truck, so I was very pleased to find out they have a very reasonably priced pick up and delivery service. Also their repair rates are fairly good. Last year I had to wait till my cousin had time to bring my mower to Weaver and they charged me a huge hourly rate, so when it broke down last week, I searched for an alternative in the Jackson area. Not only was my bill lower including the pick up and delivery service, the gentleman who brought it back was also kind enough to put it back in the shed for me. I absolutely recommend this business!

I have been given wrong parts, returned only to be replaced with another wrong part until finally I received a used part off of a mower sitting outside in the graveyard and charged full price. If you need a part and dont know the part number, yould be better off to go to Tractor Supply.If you need a repair, it is very likely you will get a used part on your repair. One good thing is they offer mower pick sevice up at a reasonable price.

The guys knows nothing abut how to treat customers. He sold me a mower that was junk and only offered to look at it after my wife called back with legal threats.When I went back the next day he told me to get out of his store after I raised concern about the mower that was sold to me... He in no way wanted to make it right. I would advise going to another shop, R&J on east chester knows what business is about, take the extra time and go see them.
